Hi there,
is there any way to install Mirrorlink on a non Mirrorlink phone? Like a Huawei P20 Lite?
So far I had HTC M8 with mirrorlink and with floating apps I could watch youtube in my car via mirrorlink.
The problem is Huawei has no mirrolink support
So is there any way to install Mirrorlink on the P20 lite or is this an issue of hardware and not software?

Hey there,
some Car Manufactures are integrating smartphones in their car infotainment systems with mirrorlink.
Im working at a Skoda Dealer in Germany and Skoda (also Volkswagen) are supporting mirrorlink.
But there are only a few devices at the moment supporting mirrorlink. (HTC ONE M8 for ex.)
So my questions:
Needs Mirrorlink special hardware or is this only software?
Is there a possibility to add Mirrorlink support to a smartphone by a special app?
Or mayby by a custom ROM?
I want to buy a Moto G 2014 but Motorola is not supporting Mirrorlink for now, so im searching for a possibility to add Mirrorlink.
DriveLink seems to be similar but im not able to download it to my non Samsung Devices.

Mirrorlink / DriveLink on NON Samsung Devices?
Hi there,
AFAIK Mirrorlink is a software only feature to phones, hence I started wondering if there is a method (flashable/magisk/xposed) to implement Mirrorlink to devices (or custom roms) that didn't get shipped with this feature.
For example; I have an OP6, and my car has a feature to connect to mirrorlink devices. I'd like to use this feature but my device didn't get shipped with Mirrorlink.
Paired these with no issue but when I run the firmware upgrade with FreeBuds Assistant it never find them even though it shows they're connected in the Bluetooth menu.
Managed to update via a Samsung device but the app still fails on the Mate 20 Pro
Hi guys! Ive been tinkering with the phone for almost a week now. Ive also updated it to the latest firmware but i cant seem to find the deature like dual audio.I have tried connecting one bluetooth speaker (JBL CHARGE) and one bluetooth earphone (X3s) together but music comes out on one device. I know that mate20 pro comes with bluetooth 5.0. Any help?
Thank you
I was investigating for the same feature and I was confident a parallel support of multiple Bluetooth devices was on for the mate 20 pro, as there is an option in the developer settings to define the maximum amount of connected Bluetooth audio devices. But it looks they cannot run in parallel.
I think they do have the option to connect up to three devices - in the developer mode, and after reset, they do connect to up to 3 devices. However, this is different from Dual Audio feature. I think Huawei Mate 20 Pro do not support it, at least at current version.
I know this is an old thread but
Is there any app or mod or other rom or ANYTHING to make dual audio work with Mate 20 Pro? I can connect to multiple speakers with no problem but the software won't allow me to put out audio through multiple devices at once and it drives me crazy since I can't find any solution at all to the problem.
Hello everyone, first off I've tried using an older phone to pair it and update it and that worked but I still can not pair it to my p20 pro. The only issue I can think of is that I live in the US and my P20 pro is the international version which doesn't have a warranty in the US. But I don't see how that should affect the pairing of my devices. Any input guys?

EDIT: I solved it, I had to download the Xiaomi fit app from the play store and then use that as a route to the amazfit app and finally to connect the watch. Just a reminder for the any others, don't pair the watch on the top right corner, instead go to "me" and "pair a new watch".
