Hello guys! Bought the IUNI U2 - 32GB/3GB and the IUNI OS is a big problem. Not only for me but for most of the users of iuni U2. There is a rebranded version of romanian Allview (x1 xtreme mini) that runs a suposable Vanilla KK on the 16Gb/3Gb version. Could it be that the vanilla kk or other closer to google stock version be imported/flashed into Iuni U2? There are some ”better” english versions of iuni os on french forum but this device deserves more, a natural android OS.
So, have you any information on the posibility of flashing a vanilla kk to Iuni U2? Or any other os closer to google?

Well, I got rid of Iuni U2 and bought a Allview x1 xtreme mini.... (the same device, rebranded and with only 16 GB/2Gb) and the rom is FULL STOCK 4.4.2 with just some minimal google apps and facebook preinstalled. It's better than CM Good luck guys!

I understand that I need to be rooted and there is no method yet to do this on x1 xtreme mini

I've installed the SuperSu apk via recovery on 2 different phones, one of which is the Iuni U2 and it seemed to work no matter what.
It's by far the easiest way I've used.
Not sure it works on all devices though.

You could flash a custom IUNI U2 recovery like CWM or TWRP. There's a nice tutorial here if you are willing to try: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57528781&postcount=2
In the recovery, you should be able to back up system img and boot img etc.
This could be a risk though, maybe the U2 recovery would not work your phone.

That's exactly why I do not try the U2 tools. Also, x1 xtreme mini has different hardware than the 32 Gb version of U2. I do not want to take the risk.
recovery for 32gb ang 16gb r both same
One of my friend is using Iuni U2 32GB version( no SD card).
He flashed Walton Primo Z 16 GB(U2 rebrand) Vanilla KitKat ROM.
After flashing, His phone's internal memory shows only 16gb.
I think after flashing that ROM his phone's partition was changed.
How to repartition or get back remaining internal memory?

its been so long that im not using even my doogee s60 phone.
but i saw your comments sorry for answering late .
its kind of sad that not many people tried to patch custom roms for our doogee s60 but i will give you a link from 4pda doogee forum there you can change the language and then in firmware section under ' Unofficial firmware and System pre-translation of the menu ' you can find some links with or without root roms , I am running • Current firmware versions DOOGEE-S60-Android 8.0 (9.2.1) with root since 2 or more years with out problem . its oreo you can read discriptions but I think this one is the best.

Hello, i have a zenphone pegasus 4s (Max pro m1), my problem is : the smartphone was meant to be sold in china and not europe, so they changed the rom to an european one (CN rom to WW), i can't update the smartphone since it won't even search for an update, i tried putting the rom at the root of the internal storage, but i didn't get a pop up to force the update, i want to know if it possible to install a custom rom (the phone is stuck on nougat 7.0) ? have a nice day.

Dude you don't have max pro m1, the m1 was launched with android 8.1 out of the box you have another device contact nearest service centre.
I did contact asus, and it's what they told me, i gave them phone series number and build number
Yours is a Max Plus (M1) not Max Pro M1. You're in the wrong place buddy,
