Hi, so I'm having a bit of a problem, I want to use Hancom Office, but it doesn't allow spellchecking in my language (German). The app and everything is in German, but it doesn't have a German spellchecking dictionary.
Is there a way of installing one? Thanks in advance.

What are the odds anyone will actually come out with a Swedish language Rom?
My guess is about 2.34 %
Our languages are quite small, but you will probably be the first to get it if we get a Scandinavian version.
I think that most M1000 users are so advanced, that they would prefere English anyway. I do, because some translations are confusing - and the defacto standard on the IT market is English.
It would be quite different for a Nokia 3100 phone aimed at the budget end of the consumer market.
Anyway, I am ready to install the Orange ROM labled DK released today, so I may get a Danish version soon..

Michael
Let me know how the Danish version works; I can pretty much read most of the Danish I encounter or at least figure it out, so I'd be willing to change to that... keeping the phone in another language keeps my friends when I'm the States from playing with it and ruining stuff.
Tack så mycket!
Scott
if it's easier access to ae oe and aa you want
then some guy from Norway make a custom keyboard add-on
which makes your keyboard (software keyboard ) into Scandinavian
it let you choose between Danish, Norwegian and Swedish
but of cause that don?t fix the issues that the text recognition cant recognise them and dictionary don?t have Scandinavian words
personaly i really hate translations and pretty much stay with english os's and programs
The 'Danish' ROM is in English as the original Orange M1000 ROM.
Only Danish content appear to be the default GPRS setting, pointing to a danish gateway.
Scandinavian keyboard is easy, this free utility will give you what you need:

Hi!
I`ve got new Hero(official in Latvia), but it has some limitation to Poland/Romanian language. I wont to use it with EN interface including deal pad and English/Russian keyboard.
I was trying to set custom Local to RU, but is changing Interface to Russian. Is there any solution for setting interface and keyboard to different languages ?
PS may be there is some kind of en_RU locale ?
Thank you.
Same problem here. The only way to make TouchInput to support Russian is to switch to Russian locale which has Russian UI. I've seen many posts, were people asking how they can have bilingual keyboard, while keeping UI in English.
en_RU locale would be ideal, but MoreLocale doesn't show it.
Also, I've seen TouchInput apk (HTC_IME) available to download, but it seems to be English only.
If anybody has a solution to this - please help!

I'm not sure about Hebrew locale, but Hebrew language works for me. I use it all the time. In terms of Locale, it's even possible that Android 2.2 supports it, but T-mobile removed it. Either way, I have never heard of supporting Hebrew as a locale, only making Hebrew text readable, which it does well.
You can see on wikipedia that 2.2 contains hebrew locale
also I had an HTC Hero with 2.2 that had a hebrew locale
there are difference between displaying hebrew and having a locale
for example - when having a locale the contact list is sorted via the hebrew "abc" and you can use the bar on the right side to navigate
the calendar and gmail captions aren't inverted when having a locale... etc'

Does it display Hebrew properly? Arabic is broken in Froyo, The letters aren't connected, which obviously isn't an issue in Hebrew, but the letters are also displayed in the wrong order.
edit: Just took a look and it seems to render Hebrew perfectly.
Hi all,
Is it possible to select multiple locales in Android, and choose priorities for them?
For example, my native language is Ukrainian, I'm fluent in Russian and I speak little English. So, if there's Ukrainian localization for an app, I'd like it to be Ukrainian. If not, it may be Russian or, in the worst case, English. How can I do that?
Thank you and sorry for my English
Hello, I want to give my i777 away to a family member in Vietnam however they need the vietnamese localization. I am running shostock v3.0.2, and since that locale is not in the list of languages I have tried installing the apps like set locale and language and also morelocale 2 but they do not translate most of the interface from english into vietnamese, any suggestions would be appreciated!

My experience in Viet Nam was that there are many small and mid-sized tech shops who can help with this. They might even have ported roms with Tiếng Việt interfaces. . . sorry I can't offer anything more concrete. Good Luck!
