Hi I'm using AOSIP Oreo, the mic in my headphone is not getting detected (btw I'm using headphone adapter), it worked perfectly in EUI, Is this the same in other Oreo roms too or just AOSIP ?

Heyyo, I think moto999999 is missing a commit from LineageOS 15.1 for audio fixes for x2. He probably needs to update AOSiP for x2

I just bought a snazzy Sennheiser Earphones, CX 275s, with a inbuilt mic. I intended to use them for hands free experience but to my disappointment i have found the mic is not working on my Onyx. I tried using the earphones on a different handset, Moto G3, and it worked like a charm..
Has anyone faced similar issue? Does it have a workaround. I currently on Nougat Based custom Rom - Aosp- Nougat 7.0.X By FabioSan.

I've headphones stuck mode on my mido, so i'm using Audio Router app as workaround. Everything works nice on Android 7 and Android 8, but on the latest Android 9 the app (like other apps for example sound about) does not work. Anyone know similiar app which work on Android Pie or has work around?

Brother i have same issue with headphone jack and i am using audio router app. But when i install android pie it doesn't work. Finally i got it repaired. It cost me 200 rupees. When i ask the fault shopkeeper said that my headphone jack was short circuit.

That was just software fault it automatically fixes most of the time

Hi guys I have a problem with using my Pocophone F1 to play music from my bluetooth speaker. When i connect it there is no sound coming out of either the phone or the speaker. I know the speaker works because I tested it with other devices. I am on miui global version 10.0.6.0 OEJMIFH if that helps. Also I tested with another speaker and the same issue remained.
I kinda don't want to change to a custom rom like lineageOS because I am worried that there are a lot of bugs on these kinds of software (but to be honest MIUI has its own fair share of bugs)
How are your experiences with custom roms?
Any help would be much appreciated guys.
PS. I am in the UK by the way if that would make a difference.

I just acquired a new Sony bluetooth headset but I suffer from terrible bluetooth quality (gaps of silence while listening, lag, low audio quality): it is barely usable.
Since the headphones provide support for the LDAC codec but apparently LineageOS 7 does not, what can I do?
The stock rom probably provides LDAC support. So does Android Oreo (and maybe LineageOS 8). Is there any way to benefit from the LDAC codec (the headphones also have aptx) on LineageOS 7 without having to go back to the stock rom or buy another phone? Is there a way to port LDAC support from the Z5C's official stock rom to LineageOS?

All of them have good audio quality. Stop using your audio mods. It's their fault you have bad audio

I was using DDP only. Now i'm not using any audio mods but mic quality is still same. It is good on havoc os 3.7 only. But other roms, it is not good.
i dont have any problems with audio recording in most of the rom i tried, it may be your hardware?
