Chrome downloaded file stops at 100 percent and won’t complete - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

For some reason why when I downloaded a 1GB file once the file hits 100 percent it stays there and wont finish so I can watch the video, how can I fix this.

Though you were updating chrome, fixed by turning off wifi and restarting update.

My WiFi was off, and chrome is up to date, and it’s still doing the same thing

Chrome to Phone?

Anyway to get Chrome To Phone working? It doesn't show up in my market, and copying the apk from my phone to my nook gives me a parsing error when I try to install it
Don't see how you'll get C2P working since you dont have a cell # available on your nook.
I don't think C2P uses your cell num but your googe account so i think it should work over wifi shouldn't it?
Try linkpush. Its pretty awesome
Chrome to phone is 2.2 only
cainhunpi, thanks for the pointer to linkpush. It's a good alternative (at least until whatever issue with chrome to phone is solved).
C2P is working fine on latest CM7 (and has been). Sometimes it's instant, sometimes it takes 5 mins, but it always gets there
I have Chrome 2 Phone in CM7 - 37 nightly. It is working fine. Sometimes there is a delay.
Has always been "working" for me, although I rarely use it because of the annoying delays.

[Q] Downloads stall out

When I download larger files, my phone tends to "stall out" somewhere around 5-20 MB downloaded. At this point, I can't download anything more - browser doesn't work, cancelling and restarting the download doesn't do anything more, etc. - until, about 5-10 minutes later, downloads will start working again. Sometimes, if I reboot, or disable my data connection and re-enable it, it will work again, but it's not consistent. My upload/download arrows will continue to flash, and this never happens over Wifi.
I'm currently using the Nero v5 ROM, but this problem has happened for months across many ROMs. Any ideas?

[Q] Streaming Video and G-Mail very broken on my Evo 3D

Two big problems with my EVO 3D that are driving me crazy:
1. I have been having this streaming video issue for a few months now. No matter what streaming video service I use (although mostly YouTube or the G4TV app) the video will start to massively lag eventually. The timing is always different, sometimes its a minute in, sometimes its 10 minutes in, but it WILL eventually start to lag. The sound is still playing, but the video stutters or flat-out stops. And it turns out its not just the video, my ENTIRE PHONE lags when this happens, so much that the hardware buttons and touchscreen don't respond until about 30 seconds to a minute later. This only appears to happen when streaming video, already-downloaded video plays just fine off of the SD card. Half of the time Sense appears to crash when this happens too, since I see it restarting after I exit the streaming app. My cousin has an EVO 3D as well and this isn't happening to him, nor have I see anyone mention about this on Google ) the instances of lag I found were buffering issues. I don't have any idea where to begin finding out what is causing this, does anyone have any hints?
2. My G-Mail app stopped working. And I don't mean it stopped syncing like it has for others before, I mean it dosen't work anymore period. I can still launch the app, my accounts are still there, but NO new mail since Janurary 12 has shown up, manually choosing refresh does nothing. I tried rebooting my phone, and even clearing the Gmail app's data.... all it does now is say "Your email will appear shortly" ... its been saying this for about three days now. I can't even use G-Mail on my phone anymore! Help?

Are you rooted? If so, are you on a custom ROM? If yes, which one? On average a simple wipe fixes the problems you talking about. I can't say much about the streaming issue since I've never experienced it, but for the Gmail issue, go into Settings>Applications>Manage applications and find Gmail, then "Clear data". Once you set it up again the problem should go away (at least that's my experience).

As I said, I already tried that, didn't work.

[Q] download issue when screen is off...

Hi guys i have an annoying issue i hope somebody has an answer...
When downloading files in my case a rom zip file which is about 160 mb, if i turn off the screen and put it aside to download the download speed drops within a minute to single bytes per minute and then drops completely til download fails... whether if i keep the screen on by repeatedly pressing on screen every few seconds to keep the screen on the download persists as it should. Can anybody help me out why this is happening?
Im using infected's 4.2 rom build 20130813 with gustavo's kernel build 0717
Nova launcher.
P.s. wifi is set to be connected when phone sleeps in settings and wifi signal is strong and doesn't drop connectivity.
I also tried downloading with the regular download manager that comes with the browser that comes with the rom and also with es file explorer and manager app, same issue...
Thank you so much for whoever takes the time to help

Slow Wifi Speed But Excellent Signal Strength

I have a DSL 512 kbps plan. I get an average speed of 62 KB/s on my home PC. I also have a home router.
My galaxy S2 has android 4.1.2 stock JELLYBEAN. I had been using my wifi for approximately 1 month with no issue, the speed was normal.
But from the past few weeks, i had noticed that the application on my phone are taking very long to connect to the internet. Eg. Youtube loades video in 5 mins, a background wallpapers application takes very long to load pictures, Compared to previous state when videos started in seconds, and loaded pics with a blink...
Signal Strength is Excellent... I tested my speed using speedtest application.. and it was normal around 60 KB/s...
I test my wifi on my friend's mobile, and it was normal. Youtube videos started in seconds, webpages showed without any loading....
I don't think there's a problem with my ISP or router.
Please HELP !!
First try another wifi connection, and see if speeds are low there too.
It's still the same.
@ immortalneo
Have you tried a factory reset? Does that make a difference?
And try downloading a file to see if your download speed is low. If not, then the issue could be app related.

On speedtest.net (and app) I get 5mbp/s download, my connection to the router is 54Mbp/s. So my internet is good for my phone, it isn't ultra fast, but it loads large pages within 10 sec.
If yours is 60kbp/s, it is super slow. You should pay more to get more speed. (in case if you mean your home wifi)
Still the same
@ immortalneo.
Yes, I've tried the factory reset. Still the same. I'll try to flash my stock ROM and then tell you.
And how could the problem be app related..?
@GreekBlood
Sir, it not a question about my internet connection. When my WiFi was working fine, I didn't have to wait for apps to connect to the internet.
My gmail app showed my mails at a go. YouTube took few seconds to start a video. But now, the apps are taking a hell lot of time to open.
Although they open, but after loading, loading and loading....... Google play opened within second, but now it takes very much time to load, and then show the menu apps.

It could be overloaded connections or your provider has a bad day/week/month etc.
