My AT&T LG V30 just decided it doesn't want to update apps anymore. They download, get to 100%, then nothing. That's it.
Anyone else have this happen?

I have this installed, and the Market tells me there's an update, but when I try to update it, I get something about 'installation failed, package isn't properly signed'. What's up with that? Is there an update, and, if so, how do I get it?

I don't think the developer pays any attention to this anymore, unfortunately.

It hangs for a few seconds then says "download unsuccessful"
To follow up I have cleared data in market through app management, factory reset, and disabling mobile data and renabling it.
One last update it's randomly kinda fixed... Some are downloading others aren't. At this point I am going to assume it is a server-side problem and get some sleep. Will update when I wake up.

Nope it isn't downloading anything. Any clues guys?
EDIT: I'm really losing my mind over this. I've searched all over the internet. I've tried clearing data on many apps, but cannot find the "google apps" I'm supposed to clear. If I download through my pc (Send it from the android market to my phone through pc interface) it works just fine...
Okay I've removed my sd card and lots more. I started a new google email as I heard that worked and it did, but everything that I've bought is gone... So obviously this has something to do with my current gmail address... I think... Any clues?

The issue you are having is related to contacts, Try making it to settings and clearing the data for contacts, that should fix you right up.

You could try changing your password to your google account from a computer and hopefully your account will become disassociated with your phone to allow you to clear data for contacts. OR ultimately doing a factory reset which will get rid of everything.

A few months back, when this particular phone was rooted, I ran a script to stop OTAs. Can someone refresh my mind and tell me how to undo it for Sprint 990 via terminal, hopefully without root
There is a video on YouTube about it
http://youtu.be/bUGOKsyb0I8
Looking for terminal commands where root might not be needed.
So I followed the advice here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...tes-update-t2909412/post58990876#post58990876
a while back to block OTAs. I may, however, have inadvertently reenabled OTAs when I upgrade to Barrin v3. So yesterday the OTA was downloaded to my LS990. I copied the file to my external SD, and deleted it from the cache folder. But now I can't get rid of the notification telling me the system update downloaded.
Any thoughts?

Doesn't that same thread work? It should.
Duh. Tired brain. I was thinking of that as preventing the update, not removing the notification after. I'll give it a try.
Thanks.

Well, sort of. That thread's answer to eliminating the notification is to disable notifications for Play Services. Which eliminates ALL notifications from Play Services, which isn't really a very good idea in my mind.
I tried turning notifications off, then back on, but the darn thing came back. So I turned it off for a couple of hours, then cleared cache for Play Services, and turned notifications back on. I don't know if it was clearing cache, or leaving notifications off longer, or the combination, but the notification seems to be gone now.

Damn Google. The notification is back. And I had done all the things that prior thread said to do to prevent it.

That works, but it disables ALL notifications from Play Services. I'm not sure that's a good idea.
Like what the title says, I double click on the LG smartworld logo, it asked to update, during the update nothing is happening, just keeps updating.
Has anyone encounter this problem, I have the H961N, and it was preinstalled, during the update if you click on it, the app just goes away.

Whatever country I say I am it says it is not supported
I think there is something wrong with the app, after it goes away, I reinstall it, it updates and works once, the next time I use it again, it ask for a update, then disappears again.
too bad you can't access it, there is some pretty good, themes and wallpapers.
