hi so recently my my phone was set in a hard brick mode with no screen turning on and the like. I managed to find a firmware for the T03 that sets it back and allows the bootloader and stuff and now it turns on but sadly i cant do the Volume up and power and the stupid volume down and power reset eMMC does nothing for me. Sadly i cant find working usb drivers for this stupid phone since everytime i plug it in while it's offline it only allows the phone to be plugged in for like two seconds.
I flashed this (firmwarefile.com/acer-t03) and it fixed the black screen but i seem to not have a OS to default too and the volume up isnt working in the slightest. I could really use some help cause i want to install twrp or something to this

Hi,
So, I somehow manage to break the button key (it's dead, I also opened the device and there is nothing to fix this), and the device is off, and I'm looking for a way to turn it on without the power key.
I tried to insert the battery while the phone is plugged but it won't help. I also tried to start it from the ADB but for some reason the computer don't read the phone (even in download mode).
What I think might help is to install any rom/kernel that turn on when the phone is plugged to the charger, if you know one that can be installed through the ODIN it might be helpfull.
Any other solution that will work will be good
Thanks
Hello and thank you for anyone bothering to read this.
I got a CAT S50 and was experiencing a bit of instability lately.
I've run LTE_S0201121.0_S50_0.023.00 without a hitch for a while, then it decided to crash several applications, from google play to any other app open.
That's when I decided to do a factory reset and see if it would help. Performed the rest without a hitch, but the errors kept coming back. At one point, the screen went black. I knew the phone was on because the backlit was working. I hard-reseted it (hold the power button for 30 seconds or more) and rebooted. The phone froze on the CAT splash logo screen and that's when I hard-reset it again. But when I tried to turn it on, the phone simply refused to work. No vibrate, sounds or anything. It's dead.
When I plug it on the computer's USB, the PC makes a sound as if it detected the device, but when I go to the device manager, I get this QHSUSB_BULK with the yellow exclamation mark
I want to know if it is possible to unbrick this phone and if so, if there is a tutorial or if someone can direct me to the correct procedure. I looked everywhere for the ftf file for this phone to attempt this with flashtool, but I simply can't find it.
ANY help of any form is greatly appreciated.
Sadly I had the same thing happen to me, just a black screen. It decided to delete recovery mode or I just cant get to it.
Power Off the Phone,
While pressing Press Vol Down + Cam Button insert a Powersource -- hold down Vol Down + Cam
Recoverymenu should start
Then flash the original rom via ADB Sideload or SD Card.
btw. i have flashed the LTE_S0201121.0_S50_0.023.00 but i want test older ROMs!
can anyone link or upload an older ROM ?
Guy i have the same issue, can you please help me
I got the same problem I search lots place but still nothing then normal update rom anyone can help?
I tried repairing oppo joy smartphone for my cousin. The phone can turn on but remains in bootloop. Most guides said i can easily solve the problem by hard reset, holding power and volume button at same time and entering recovery mode. The problem is it won't entering the recovery mode or even the factory mode. One guide i read, the phone is essentially bricked if i am unable to access recovery mode so that makes me wonder.
However i tried another method by using software through pc. I downloaded usb driver, firmware and odin like software. I remove battery, connect usb, hold power and volume up together and pc is supposed to recognize and install driver or go through with rom installation. But nothing happened. Only a sound like a new device discovered after holding the buttons and it keeps buzzing every 2 seconds nonstop.
Please help me whether this is a sign of defeat or something can be done since i find brick is a term where a phone does not power on at all
I have this I9100 smartphone, that I really liked once, but I bricked it. It is too long ago so I don't exactly know what happened.
I think I was using some tool to change the partitions or have done something similar .
I tried to use the search but it did not really help me, maybe I don't know what words to use, as english is not my native language.
this is what it does or does not:
power -> nothing
power and vol+-> nothing
power and vol--> nothing
so Recovery does not work, download mode does not do anything but show the following message(this happens only with usb cable) so I think it also does not work
"
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies & try again."
when I try to use KIes and do a recovery it does not show the device.
But once I managed to get it connected to windows 7 and it was shown as Samsung usb composite device(Or something like that).
But it is a real pain as the usb port of the smartphone is not stable, so this annoying sound of connecting and disconnecting is heard everytime I touch it.
maybe I should use hotglue to fix this or bend the plug to get it stuck really tight.
I also tried download mode without battery and then put in the battery. it says battery is to low to do download or something like that. written in small red letters in the first line.
so is it possible to get it back or is it dead? I just want to know if I should try to fix the usb port and keep on trying and searching or forget about it..thank you very much, this is a great community and it helped me already a lot in the past
Hi,
This does sound like the symptoms of a broken usb port. You should fix it as it seems that there is a chance you may be able to revive the device (just from reading).
My general assumption however is that if you can't boot up using hardware buttons and using a usb jig doesn't help, you device is probably dead.
Saber.
You don't use Power+Volume keys for Download and Recovery mode.
But Power + Volume+ + Home for Recovery (and Volume- for Download mode).

I had recently installed evolution x, everything worked fine, but i stupidly hit the update button today and now im stuck on the twrp splash screen...
When it turns on i get the galaxy s9 plus splash screen then the twrp 3.5.2_9-0 splash screen.
I am not able to turn the phone off with the power button, i have to hold both volume down and power to restart it.
I have also left the phone overnight just incase it needed a bit of time but no luck, still just stuck on the twrp splash screen.
I have tried many hardware button combinations with no luck. I am unable to see the device on adb or fastboot, and i am unable to see the device when plugged in to install drivers for odin.
How do i fix this? (To be clear i dont care about the data on the phone, it is backed up but the phone is currently a paperweight in this state)
Edit [SOLVED]:
After weeks of googling i was able to find one thread for a different phone with a slightly different problem that said letting the phone run out of battery let them boot into download mode and it worked, as soon as i plugged in the phone and held the button combination i was able to get into download mode and install a later twrp version.
Hopefully other people can find this solution faster than i did
I am still looking for information on this if anyone has any.
I have also had to let the phone run out of battery and am hoping that doesnt make things worse.
