Amazfit Stratos 2 hinge/wristband holder - Amazfit

Hello,
Maybe it's not the best forum for this kind of question, but it's currently the only forum where I could ask for this watch.
I somehow lost this part from the picture in the attachment. My watch is only a few months old and one day I just noticed that I don't have this part and now I can't charge my watch because it won't stay inside the charger. I have to put something heavy on it to charge it (as it can be seen on the picture).
I tried to google and I checked on eBay, Amazon, Geekbuying etc. but I didn't find not even a trace, because I don't know how this thing is called officially. Where can I buy this little part? Is it even possible to remove it or mine got broken? I think that there's a glue leftover on the watch, where it was. It looks like a cover.

I saw people calling it horns. It was available on AliExpress for a short while in "Amazfit Store" and they called it ears and it costed $10 for a pair but it says it's "sold out".
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Amazfit-Stratos-2-watch-ear-spare-elements/32896059684.html
Since there is actually "Official Amazfit Store" on AliExpress I guess "Amazfit Store" perhaps was not authorized since their entire store is empty of any products now, hence "sold out", so I don't expect it will be available again there.
I remember somewhere I saw someone posting they could help you with it if you message them but I can't remember where, maybe on facebook or on some other forum.
I was lucky to have noticed that piece became flimsy and I just gently pulled it off before it fell out on its own so the advice is to get a different type of charger that closes on top of the watch into it's charging cradle and also to check on those ears/horns after charging if they ever start to get flimsy.
Sorry I was not helpful.

The seller should have them for replacement if your watch is still under warranty. If not and you have an international model (A1619) you can try contacting us.amazfit.com.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I replaced the one I lost with the one from the bottom part of the watch; the absence of one horn at the bottom does not make the watch pop up from the charger.
On a separate note, I spoke to Amazfit support in China, they're saying that they do not sell these things separately, need to send the watch to the factory in Anhui, so out of luck, as I am not on warranty.

If you get on https://www.facebook.com/groups/227999507621434/ and contact Pavel Zeldin, he might send you those for free.

Thank you all for your responses, I didn't expect such an activity for this weird question, but seems that I'm not the only one, not even close, who has a problem like this.
I got in touch with Huami and they really have a wonderful and very fast support. Unfortunately, watches bought directly from Geekbuying aren't covered with warranty so they weren't able to help me.

I was thinking about doing the same if I don't manage to get a new horn.

Hi everybody,
I broke one of the "horns" or "ears" from my Stratos and now it's not possible to fix an strap. I attach some pics.
Do you think it could be fixed by Pavel Zeldin help or with something similar to this Aliexpress sold out item?
Thank you in advance!

He is still the Moderator on that mentioned facebook group.

How You glue this part to the watch? I don't know wich glue to use.

I have the same problem with my Amazfit Stratos 2, I right upper ear came off, I'm going to try to contact Amazfit and the facebook group to check if I can get some spare parts.

Chrome peeling

Search in this forum isn't working and no results with Google so i will post it here. The chrome around the camera is peeling after 5 days. I have babied the phone since i received it and never put it on and hard surface so I have no clue how this could happen. I already had to replace the battery cover because the first one was scratched out of the box. time to return? I hate to have to keep exchanging and complaining at the store but paying full price for a phone and already seeing that this phone cant hold up is disappointing.

Just exchange it for a new phone unless you have an international version. I'm sure it's still under warranty. Exactly what response were you looking for?
I have a feeling this phone is extremely sensitive.
I got mine yesterday and I'm not sure if it came out the box with a nick on the bezel or I somehow did within the first hr trying to activate my sim because the folks at Walmart didn't.
But it's there, it's tiny, but it's bugging the **** out of me.
Hope I'm wrong, but I'm hoping a case helps out.
I had the S2 without a case, but this one is too slippery for me, I'm afraid I'm gonna drop it.
I would exchange it!!

Nokia charging stand is where its at

Hey guys. I just wanted you all to know that of the three options: Nokia Charging Pillow, plate, or stand. It's all about the stand! I've purchased all three and I wish I would have purchased the stand FIRST! I didn't know about it until after I purchased the pillow and the plate. The plate sucks because you have to make sure the phone is centered at all times, otherwise your phone doesn't charge or over heats or both. I've had bad experiences going to sleep and waking up to a beeping 120 degree phone. The pillow sucks because well for me it was pointless. It didnt help me in any way, I just took the plate out of the pillow and then it became a plate, which I just finished explaining. The pillow itself is a waste of money. The stand is perfect, you don't have to worry about your phone being centered because once its put on the stand it is centered. Anyways. To me, the plate and the pillow were mistakes. They should have only created the stand in the first place. Its perfect! I bought it from AT&T on employer discount for around $50, I think regular price its about the same as the others at about $65.
I got the stand used through Amazon and it does work pretty well. As others have mentioned though the NFC while working isn't in the best spot, and the phone can't be set horizontally either to watch videos or something. I'm sure there will be better ones down the line when wireless charging catches on.
Can you post a link to the stand, I see a ton when I google.

Well, you can't set the phone down horizontally and watch movies on any of the 3 can you? I just think that out of the 3 this one beats the other 2 hands down. And I think because it is always centered it charges slightly faster too. With the plate I am always wondering if its sitting on it correctly. Which is pretty annoying, especially if i pick it up at night when im in bed and i try to center it again in the dark...
Hopefully Verizon carries this thing online soon so I can use my discount. Otherwise it is fairly expensive especially since I plan to buy 2 or 3.
I also have the stand and agree it is the best option. You actually can get it to play and charge while horizontal if you don't mind propping it up on something. I have not been able to get the NFC to even activate and yes, I have it turned on in the settings. Maybe I am touching with the wrong spot on the phone. Can anyone discuss how this works?

AT&T had it last week and I bought one with my employee discount for $51.75 which is a lot better than $69. I tried to buy another one yesterday but it was out of stock. When it's back in stock I'll see if I can work something out with anyone that wants one. I could just buy it and have it shipped straight to you instead of myself. Paypal transaction or something. Anyone interested in something like that PM me

The NFC chip in the phone is behind the HTC logo, but it won't activate since the tag in the charging stand is for Windows Phone. You'll have to download an app called NFC Retagger to set the tag to launch an app or action
The NFC tag on the stand is on the front, on top if the little white light. I believe it says "NFC" in small print.
This confused me also, because I expected the NFC to be in the back if the stand, so the phone would see the NFC while charging. But, I don't know, maybe the current interferes with it or something.

Just to report back, NFC Retag worked for me. Easy to use and set up, works great with the stand and you do have to have the phone screen active and hold it sideways. Probably easier to just turn on the app but nice to know it works. This is new technology for me, other than the commercials of people tapping phones together I am not familiar with other ways this feature is used in everyday life but I am here to learn.
Thanks again.

Warning: OnePlus Support and RMA denial

Hello my friends!
I haven't been posting on XDA for quite a long time but I thought I had to share this with you. About a year ago, I bought a OnePlus One and I was happy with the device itself and CM 11 and 12 as well. However, this summer in July, the microphones of my OPO stopped working during calls.
I started to do some research and found a few threads on the OnePlus forum and on XDA from users complaining about the same problem. The microphone suddenly stopped to work during calls and the person on the other phone could not hear anything. The only workaround is to switch to speaker mode. Some other users also posted workarounds and potential fixes for the well-known issue. I tried all of them but none of them worked. Here are links to some of the threads I am referring to:
OnePlus Forum
XDA
reddit
So as you can see, this is quite a common problem and therefore probably known by OnePlus. Since none of the mentioned fixes helped
and flashing different ROMS did not improve anything I started to get in touch with the OnePlus customer support. Before owning the OPO I had several HTC and Nexus devices and I already had to deal with the HTC support twice because of two hardware failures. The HTC support was surprisingly friendly and simple to deal with, so I figured, contacting the OP support would not be a big deal. I would be proven wrong in the next weeks...
I first contacted the OP support on the 16th of July. I provided them with a detailed error description, a few pics of my device with a timestamp to provide proof of ownership and the request to repair or replace my phone since it was still covered under the 1 year warranty. Shortly after, I received a reply from the support staff in which they asked me to provide a few more details (OS and Android version, CM or Oxygen, etc) which I did instantly.
Then I was forwarded to a "OnePlus tech specialist" who gave me instruction to flash a version of Oxygen OS and to run a microphone test, which of course I did as well. Like I expected, the issue did not disappear magically and I got a reply that a "OnePlus level 2 tech specialist" would have to connect himself to my PC via a secure software and try to fix my phone. They called this remote session. I had to book an appointment for this remote session.
By this time I was already getting quite angry at Oneplus, since it seemed like they were ignoring my actual issue and my request for a warranty covered replacement or repair. I told them that I did not expect that this remote session would help, since I was quite sure that it was a hardware fault. However, they insisted that I had to book this remote session, which turned out to be quite difficult. There were no free slots for the next two weeks. Luckily a slot was suddenly available in the next week when I checked the booking reservations for the tenth time and I managed to book it. Since the time slot was 11AM I had to take half a day off my work to make it to the appointment. A few minutes before the session should have started; I got an email from support to download the necessary software for the session, which turned out to be Teamviewer! I thought this was a bad joke. Teamviewer was their idea of a secure remote session software. I downloaded it anyways (what other choice did I have?) and waited for the level 2 tech. And I waited. After half an hour I wrote to the support that no one showed up yet although my time slot was already almost over. After almost 30 more minutes the tech finally connected herself to my PC. I told her, that she was not allowed to do anything on my PC without my permission since there was confidential data of my clients stored on the PC, to which she agreed to. The session however was a pure joke. After installing some Qualcomm drivers and rebooting my PC and plugging in and out my device about 100 times, she said that my device was indeed broken and that I would now be forwarded to the RMA department.
Almost three weeks, many pointless arguments with the support and this joke of a remote session, after I started contacting the support, I was finally granted an RMA repair/replacement. I thought that it would now finally be over and I would get back a new or repaired device. WRONG. But more to that later.
I got instructions to prepare the package to ship it to the 1+ repair center in the UK. I was told I would have to fill out an online form for DHL since they would come to my house and pick up my device. I filled out the form and was expecting a phone call to fix a time where they would come by as promised by 1+ and DHL. Well, I was at work on a Monday morning and suddenly without a phone call or any notification, a DHL delivery guy showed up at my house. Luckily someone was at home who gave him the package. However, the DHL guy asked for an address, which the person at home did not know, so they called me. Now I had to explain to the guy that I had no idea what the address was because I never got one from 1+. They said that DHL would have the address. So after around half an hour, I was notified that the DHL guy took the parcel with him after with him after he got a call from DHL who said that they knew the address.
The next day, the same DHL guy showed up at my house again (again w/o calling) because he got another order to pick up my phone which he did already yesterday...
After around a week of silence, I was notified from support that they received my package and ran it through a first stage inspection where they detected a water damage. They told me, they would send it to a secondary inspection to verify if it is really a water damage. I could not believe that my phone really had a water damage because I am very careful with my devices and I knew that I never exposed my 1+1 to water or some sort of steam or extreme moisture in general. A few days later they sent me the second inspection report which of course confirmed the water damage and thus my warranty covered RMA was denied. I told them that this could not be possible because I couldn't imagine how my device would have gotten anywhere near water. The next weeks I was arguing with several support members (they changed their names randomly and I had no idea who would reply anymore). I was basically given 2 options: pay 213€ for a repair or pay 45€ of shipping costs to get back the defect device.
After around 3 weeks (they often ignored me for days) I was so frustrated with the company and the way they treated me that I just wanted to get back my device and hence I paid the horrifying 45€ shipping costs (UK-Austria normally costs 12-20€ for a package of this size).
During those three weeks I was doing some research about 1+ RMA denials and look what I have found:
here: reddit
and here: reddit #2
and here: reddit #3
and here(!): reddit#4
So apparently, many users got their RMA denied because of water damage although they never exposed their device to water. There seem to be two water damage indicators (little white stickers that turn red when they are in contact with water) inside the 1+1, one in the headphone jack and one at the bottom of the phone underneath the buttons. Some people were smart enough to take photos of their white indicators before shipping the device off to RMA repair and received an inspection report with a photo showing red indicators, when they got their RMA denied. So these indicators *somehow* seem to have turned red.
After finding this, I was relatively shocked. I mean, I was mad at 1+ for their incompetent customer service but I couldn't believe that so many people had the same struggle and some even have proof that they were falsely accused of being responsible for the water damage. Unfortunately, I was not clever enough to take my phone apart and take pictures of the water indicators but I cannot imagine that they were red when I shipped the device off. Unfortunately I cannot proof anything.
After talking with two lawyers, we came to the conclusion that pursuing further legal options would be very difficult, considering that the law in Hong Kong where 1+ is located is probably completely different. Furthermore it would cost too much and my chances of winning wouldn't be high since I did not have any evidence except many reports of other people with the same problems from the internet.
Now after more than 2 months of arguing with the support I decided to pay the 45€ shipping costs and I'm probably going to sell the defect device but you can be sure, that I'll never buy anything from this company again. I can't proof anything but their warranty denials seem.... shady.
Now, I really hope that you never have to deal with the 1+ customer support because it is simply horribly. They have no idea what they are talking about, they just send copy and pasted replies and often they don't read your replies at all, they ignore you for days, their procedures are extremely complicated and they deny warranties in many(!) cases without a proper reason. Sometimes even, although there is proof that says otherwise.
If you consider buying a 1+1 or 1+2, be warned because the same thing can happen to you. It happened to many people and it will probably happen again.
If you are going to ship off your device to RMA, be sure to take as many detailed, high-res photos as possible of the outside AND of the inside of the device. Be sure to check the water damage indicators and take a good picture of them. Also write today’s date and your name on a piece of paper and photograph it with your phone so that you can proof that the pictures are yours.
TL;DR
Microphone doesn’t work during calls; contacted 1+ customer support; complicated and pointless tries by 1+ to fix phone w/o RMA; after weeks: RMA granted; shipping difficulties; RMA denied because of water damage; many other users also got RMA denied because of water damage despite of proof that there was no water damage; 1+ RMA denials seem shady (see links);
Would have been better you just buying the microphone part online and replacing yourself. But sorry for your trouble and oneplus cs is trash! We all know this.

Yup I agree with you. OnePlus customer service is the worst and I would never buy a phone from their company in the future. 1+2 will be my last phone from them.
OnePlus isn't the only manufacturer that does this sort of thing.

Can't be a faulty microphone if it works ok in speaker mode, there isn't a separate different mic for use in different modes (I would have thought).

I can't post pictures at the moment since my 1+1 is still being shipped back to me but iFixit describe the location of the one indicator at the bottom of the phone in step 15 of their teardown. The other one can be spotted with a bright light when you take a close look into the headphone jack. It rests just a few milimeters inside of the jack. I might post some images when I receive my device.
I don't know how many indicators can be found inside the 1+2 or where they are located.

As far as I know the 1+1 has three mics. During a call (without speaker mode) the main mic is used to capture the voice while the two other mics are used to cancel out noise. When speaker mode is turned on the noise cancelling is turned off and hence only the main mic is used. At least that is how I have read it somewhere. So my guess is that one or two of the secondary mics are somehow damaged and therefore the noise cancelling cancels out too much/everything instead of just the background noise. This would explain why speaker mode works and why voice recording apps work properly as well.
I wanna bring as much attention as possible to this bad joke of a customer support , so if anyone is interested in spreading the word please do so! I already contacted serveral tech sites, let's see if they'll write something about it.

Well, you are looking for a white small sticker (or red in case it got in contact with water). If you're using a 1+2 I can't tell you for sure if it is even there.
I was also denied a legitimate rma request. A lot of friends and family members bought oneplus ones on my recommendation, so I'm pretty salty over this.

The only one I found was under the back cover on bottom left screw. Not sure if there is another after disassembly.
I had the exact same issue, but i never bothered to contact oneplus about it. I just bought the board required and replaced it myself. I haven't had a warranty repair in close to 8 years.
I wonder if OnePlus customer service is reading this thread and rethinking their policies and practices? When my screen broke on my 1+1, i just sold it knowing how bad service was and went back to my Nexus5
This thread caused me to NOT buy a 1+2 when my invite finally showed up.....
I still really want one, but considering 2nd hand now knowing that we basically are on our own.
Hg
Sold my 1+1 to buy a 1+2.
Decided to purchase the Z3 Compact to hold between them (delivery takes ages to Brazil) but now I'll probably keep the Z3.
I like the 1+1 a lot but if the brand doesn't support their customers I won't support the brand too.
Where did you purchased the board?
Zero problems with 1+1 and 1+2! Awesome phones.. (and no, not a fanboy)..
I too had the microphone problem and I also had to endure a ton of mails to support and the remote session... In the end nothing they suggested fixed it (shocker!) and I could send it in for RMA. Fortunately they sent me a new phone which I promptly sold. The whole thing took months.

Amazfit stratos 2 heart rate back cover fell :(

I bought the Amazfit stratos 2 back in December 2018, I nearly never got it of my hand unless its charging.
Yesterday I went to shower and when I got out I noticed that the back cover for the heart rate sensor is gone:crying:.
I tested the heart rate sensor and it surely stopped working along with huge battery drain. the 100% charge can only last for 1 hour.
luckily I am still under warranty and will send it for replacement but I want to know if anyone had the same issue.
Is it a common problem or my watch was just defective from day 1, since I noticed micro particles under the heart rate cover from first week.
Not rare, but a very few number of units have a poorly glued HR cover, and many fall off or simply let wetness go inside the watch damaging it. That's what warranty is for.

He helps with missing parts, like the strap holders covers ("horns"), not the whole device. OP should first contact seller and ask for a replacement, if they don't honor warranty then you may contact US Amasfit or Pavel for support.
I had the same problem, I notice that something was wrong with the watch because the HR sensor got so hot that I got burnt. The Hr sensor still light up but does not measure anything and end in error.
Trying to contact seller, bought it less then 3 months ago. Let's see what happens.
PS. : The seller from EBay is not responding me anymore... Trying to solve with PayPal but it seems PayPal does not want to help me at all as well... Sent an email to Xiaomi Australia (I live in AUS) hope them can help me.

Yes, the same has happened with me, but i think i noticed it before any water entered the back of my watch, i was wondering if any replacement glass that i could glue myself is available on amazon or ebay or not bcoz my priority at this moment is to prevent it from further damage. If you have any links from where i can buy that back glass of heart rate sensor, pls drop links. thankyou in Advance
It happened to me twice
It seems to be a common problem. A year ago I didn't notice the missing cover, but I suddenly started to receive electric peaks on my wrist, and the watch got extremely hot. Trying to charge it was useless, it got even hotter and stopped working. I got a new unit under the warranty (2 years in Spain). Today I have lost the cover again (of a one-year-old watch), but I'm not under warranty for 8 days, ouch. It does still work fine but eventually dust and humidity will ruin the watch.
Has someone found the cover replacement?
Had the same issue, seems to be quite common. I was swimming with it and when i got out of the water, the watch got extremely hot and it started acting strange (showed that it was charging). I took it off and saw the glass that should be covering the sensor was missing.
My advice... if you got a new one... Sell it. Then, buy something better...
Get something better, not worth it
Yep, mine lost the cover, luckily I found it, but now I'm afraid to use the watch as I found out that the HR sensor protruded and that's why the glass fell off, now when I try to glue it again it won't fit right, the HR sensor can be pushed but it protruded again instantly, my guess is that the battery has bulged up, so bad that the warranty just ended, now I'm afraid that the battery may explode when I'm using the watch and hurt me, as Xicko says go buy something better, it has no support and seems to be a common issue, I was very happy with this watch and brand but it deceived me when i tried to contact support they just told me: "don't use it anymore and buy a new one", next time I'll go with Samsung

Verge - newbie questions

First, I love my new watch. It has everything I ever wanted with a smart watch. I got a couple of questions maybe you can help me?
- Do you need a screen protector for it? I checked amazon and there is 'covers' for the Verge that seems counter intuitive since you need to remove it each time you charge the watch plus it seem to render the thing even more bulky than it is already. Do you use screen protector?
- I know the Verge is not waterproof but water resistant but any of you had the unfortunate habit to put your hand in water and submerge the watch completely by mistake? If so how did it behave? I ask bc I work with it and in my work I am often called to take stuff in water tanks..
- Can I connect my watch on a wifi network without a phone being nearby? I know the phone has wifi in it and it list what it can scan and detect but when I connect to one, as soon as I go back to 'home' on the watch and try to access say Alexa it says no internet. Any idea why? Would be cool if I could leave my phone in my coat pocket and go around at work (huge place) and simply use the wifi there and no had it piggy back on the phone.
- I tried using 'amazmod' app but in the app the widget page never load. Any idea?
- Got a couple more question but ill stop here for the moment.

First at all, I will be honest with you - you bought **** of crap. Maybe you did not had before good smartwatch. But believe me Amazfit Verge is crap of ****. Let moderators forgive me for being honest, but this is true. If will be clear this is just my opinion about Amazfit and its products. Maybe someone else like it. I don't know. I had very bad experience with this company. My opinion you just wasted yours money for really, really bad device. I talking about everything from quality of device to service which you will get or if say honest - don't get as you deserved as a costumer of Amazfit. I was in yours place, thanks, God, a lot of that i'm not right now in yours place.
Before I bought Amazfit Verge (I was very happy too, maybe first months, later I wanted to changed to something really good as faster as possible). But let's go to yours questions.
1. This watch have Gorilla Glass 3 protection as others Amazfit's smartwatch as I saw. So cover as you calling I don't think it need for you. I have this watch a little bit more as one year. I did not had any scratches. But all my devices i trying to protect from these situation. Always to clear screen, to protect from any drops or scratch. So it's depends how do you wear it. Gorilla Glass, covers and etc. will not protect your device if you will not protect by yourself.
2. This model have IP68. IP68 is mean protection from contact with harmful dust (it's number 6) and it's mean that Verge is protected from immersion in water with a depth of more than 1 meter and etc. (It's number 8). In others words: you can't swim with it, but you can don't afraid of rain and etc. Can you watch your hand with it? To immerse it to water? Well i always wearing smartwatch which have water protection when i washing my hands, but never tried to water it. But as i siad you can't swim with it, but about 1 meter your device can drop to water, but quickly you must pull out it from water. By the way in water don't use your watch. I saw review in Russian about this watch. One guy tried to swim with it. So after swim watch worked fine, but something was bad with sound speaker. I guess water got inside device. So be careful with that. And for the end about water, most important is pressure. Your device can't be used in to sauna, diving must be forgotten at all and etc. This is from Amazfit web site about protection:" Amazfit Verge is water-resistant but not waterproof. It is IP 68 certified which means resistant to dust, rain, splashing, and accidental submersion. It shouldn’t be used when you are taking a shower/bath, having a spa, swimming or in the sauna or steam room. Specifically, the IP rating is a number that indicates what level of protection it has against both solids and liquids. 6 – The first digit stands for its resistance to dust, but also general dirt and sand. 8 – The second digit provides certification for water resistance." I hope i answered into yours question. Here is written what i wrote to you, but maybe a little bit clearer and more detailed
3. This watch haven't integrated sim (eSim, know as LTE version of watches). But have WiFi, Bluetooth. That's mean that without phone you can't talk over sound speaker, got notifications and etc. But you can connect to WiFi. When you in the settings choose WiFi, check to smartphone must be line where you must add password if yours WiFi is protected, mine is protected so sorry i guess if yours is not, it's enough just into phone push to connect You can't connect to WiFi from smartwatch without phone.
This is Amazfit Verge manual try to read it, i hope you will find a lot of answers into yours questions - https://en.amazfit.com/pdf/manuals/verge.pdf
4. I did not used amazmod, sorry i can't answer into this question. Maybe someone else will be.
Final words: If you can i advise you change this smartwatch to Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 (if you can do that into LTE version, i have Bluetooth version). Why?
Samsung is much more expensive as Verge, but have:
1. Better protection from water, Samsung even have US Military Standard Compliant (MIL-STD-810G)
2. Battery i charging about every 2 - 3 days. After updates of Verge I did the same with it. It doesn't matter that Amazfit saying that stand without charge 5 days. If you want 5 days with verge you can't active all features. I doing like that. In all my devices. And even then I can don't charge more as Verge with my Samsung. Sometime.
3. In Samsung you can answer to call, call to friends from watch (if you have LTE you can do that without phone at all), to write from watch text messages or read it full (even Gmail, in verge you can't read Gmail letters in watch), with Verge you can replay into messages.
4. With Samsung you can download apps from Samsung Store (Store have not a lot of apps, but much more as can Verge, Verge impossible to install apps without 3rd parties tools)
5. You can customize yours watch faces, download it from Store and etc. You can even change font of watch and many more customizations options.
6. Samsung is one of the best right now watch included Apple watch. Verge even in top 10 in most reviewers don't enter.
I can write a lot of about Samsung smartwatch, but I will not do that. Just check Samsung web site. Believe me you wasted your money for grab of plastic ****. After 3 - 6 months, maybe year you will understand that. Good luck.
I hope I helped you if you will have any question about Verge, just say.
First thank you very much for all thise awesome answer. I really appreciate it.
Must admit, I'm not sure why you hate it so much. Iv red lots of reviews on it bf buying it and most were 4* or more. Sure, here it there ppl 1* it but like any product. I did over pay a bit bc I wanted this watch in particular and in canada is was not available so I had to use an america website and pay for shipping and dang high tx and customs fees.
I'm a gadget guy, not a watch guy. I wanted a smart watch with alexa (or google home but...) lol. I browse around and found it had also gps, I can talk on the phone with it and 24hrs heart rate and other cool stuff I might not use ahah. Been using it almost none stop for a week now and it is great. Battery, is LOOOONNNGG! I lasted almost all week day (5). By friday it was below 20% and decided to recharge.
Sad to hear you had bad experience with Amazfit, its my first smart watch per se so I don't know. I do find the plastic body of the watch a bit cheap for the price I paid but I guess it's chinese right.
So far so good.
Again thank you for your input!

Wish you and i hope that to you this watch will be great all the time. Again you're welcome and if i can i will try to help you again if will be need Good luck and have a nice day.
P.S. In Canada Alexa must work if i'm not wrong, so i'm glad that you can use it. I have Bixby now, it's limited voice assistant which still not support my national language, but finally i got it
So far so good.
Again thank you for your input!

You're welcome. That is why this community is And going back to the smart watch. Well it’s not like I hate him. It's faster frustration, than is a hatred. I expected more from him than I bought. After a little over a year, I didn’t get Alexa anyway, and one of the reasons I chose it was to be a voice assistant. Amazfit support, in some kind said to me (promised me) about some new features which i wanted to get. But i still did not get them. Amazfit support at all is like mocking from customers. I had chat with it a lot of included US support and EU. I don't know how long you have smart watch, but believe me i was happy first months too until came first problems. From 2019 November to 2020 April i got about 3 updates. First two updates was empty for me. I waited Alexa so much, because some other region got it. Last update i waited 6 months. I understand there is corovirus, but people waiting 6 months updates and this is like mocking without any point. Silly things was added like language and etc. That's all. 2 Updates was similar too. I asked more widgets, there is no (wasn't until i had it) calendar widget in this smart watch. Support even did not understand what i mean. I had to send from here others people created example. Poor support, very much. I reported several times about too fast draining battery after updates. They did not take it that seriously and always wrote me about general settings. I had very bad experience with this Verge model. That's why i'm so negative to it.
This watch is rating good for battery like is rating most Chinese products. Have some extra features for low price. But when i had it i can say price is too big for plastic device which is cheap and is not good quality. But after updates battery stand much more less as was before. You writing about 24 heart rate. Yes Verge have it. Heart Rate is tracking every minutes how i understand. You know how often is checking Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2? Every second or two. Verge tracking your sleep just at night time. Most time one time, sometime two. I mean just one sleep period, sometime two. Samsung tracking all the time, enough correct. Verge always missed some hours. Heart Rate is just one thing which i liked in this watch. But Samsung doing that much more correct as Verge. Man, you must try Samsung. Your experience will be in highest level. That's why i like so much my Samsung watch now. By the way you mentioned talk over watch. Verge have very very poor sound speaker which cracked, was distorted sound. It's cheap device for too big price now.
I hope this watch will be greta for you all the time, wish you that. Again you're welcome and good luck. In US Alexa working, so i'm glad that you got it. Good luck
