yes

I haven't seen any word about this but i have converted a ls998 to us998 and I wanted to ask if anyone that has converted. Does VoLTE work for you? And or what should I be looking for to see if its working.
Disregard: I realized that this is a sprint phone not a T-Mobile phone. Obviously won't work. Mods delete please

I'm using a converted ls998 to us998 on TMobile and volte and vowifi are working
I have converted my H931 to a US998, and T-MO VoLTE works now!
I have an AT&T V30 (H931, I believe is the model number). I'm wondering if it is compatible with Sprint's network. If I get it unlocked by AT&T, can I activate it on Sprint?
No. Not as the H931.
You can carrier unlock it by converting to US998 (Frankenstein) thread. Bootloader unlocking, installing TWRP and rooting, and then use the posted files to convert to LS998 (to get all the Sprint bands) and possibly activate on Sprint, because then you will have a Sprint LS998. But that's going to an awful lot of trouble. But you can't activate non-Sprint V30 on Sprint.
Mint Sprint LS998 V30+ are available on eBay for $320. I bought two, not to use on Sprint but to use on AT&T! I converted them to US998 via Frankenstein thread.
If you want Sprint, why didn't you just buy Sprint variant to begin with? The Sprint V30+ are super cheap because no one really wants them. But they can be converted to more useful carrier unlocked model US998 or even Verizon VS996 for example. Even Sprint users who have LS998 (or buy them) convert to US998 to bootloader unlock -- then convert back to Sprint LS998 to get all LTE Sprint bands back. They make sure to activate on Sprint as LS998 first.

Thanks for the great info!
I actually have several V30s on AT&T at the moment, and I'm considering switching to Sprint and am wondering if I can reuse these.
So if I go the Frankenstein route as you described, would I be able to use these on Sprint? Or would it be kind of a toss-up as to whether even then Sprint would allow me to activate them?
So, Google Fi just went official and they're allowing more phones in. They're offering a $200 service credit if you sign up to port your number by 11:59 PM PT tonight. Not going to give a link because I don't want this mistaken as a referral/promotion.
I have a VS998 converted to US998 via WTF/Frankenstein. What I want to know is can I get all T-Mobile bands (except 71) and Sprint bands to work/if Fi automatic switching will work on this device?
Has anyone used Fi like this? Did you have to flash Sprint's modem or enable any Sprint bands if you flashed your device to a US998?

There's two Sprint LTE bands the US998 does not have: 26 & 41. That's why this thread exists. It's also why Sprint won't activate the US998 on Sprint network, even though it's the official open market model. My understanding (may be wrong) these two Sprint bands are not everywhere and if you're switching back and forth between T-mobile anyway, may not matter.

I saw that thread, but I wasn't sure if that would add Sprint bands to the US998 bands or replace the US998 bands with Sprint bands.
Are you on Fi? I'm trying to figure out of Carrier Switching works with the V30, or if I can manually switch between the networks, or if I'm locked to T-Mobile. If I'm locked to T-Mobile, I'm better staying on T-Mobile.

It replaces with Sprint bands, because those are Sprint customers who wanted US998 bootloader unlock and root -- but then want to use Sprint network fully.
Okay. That's what I thought. I'm looking for a way to add the Sprint bands without losing the native US998 bands.
I'm planning to buy a V30/V30+ soon and keep noticing that the V30+ with higher storage keeps being listed cheaper than normal US998, so I'm planning to buy a LS998 and convert it to US998. Now, I know there is a method to enable bands on the US998, so I wonder, will the same method work with a LS998 converted to US998? And will roms meant for US998 work? For example my plan is to buy the phone, convert it and then enable all the bands needed for T-Mobile, especially band 71 which has a big impact where I live (Puerto Rico), sometimes being the difference between signal and no signal. My backup plan would be to buy a US998 but lose half the storage. Any feedback is appreciated!

I don't know of a way to enable Band 71 on a non-H932.
BUT converting LS998 to US998 gives it all US998 bands and all ROMs work with former LS998 convince to US998.

Excellent, so that means the LS998 is a better deal since I would get the same bands/roms regardless, unless I get an H932, but I dunno about the rom situation with the H932. What would you recommend, my main network is T-Mobile if that helps.
Is there any difference between these two on TMobile? Or one is better than another?
I have several H932s and now need something more standard to play AOSP roms
H930 vs US998 on TMobile

I think you meant T-Mobile H932 vs US998 on T-Mobile. An H930 won't work on T-mobile. Since you said you have several T-mobile H932, you probably mis-typed your title, when you said "H930".
T-mobile H932 has the newer LTE band 71 which T-Mobile uses. US998 for the longest time got T-mobile Wi-Fi calling (at least on US998 firmware), but some people are reporting that with the newer SIM cards (combining Sprint and T-mobile assets) that it not working any more. Some people on T-mobile MVNOs says theirs are still working.
The dev who ROOTED the T-Mobile H932 and is a long time T-Mobile customer sold his H932, bought some other phone, then came back to the V30. When he did, he bought a US998 -- even though he's a T-Mobile customer. That was a couple years ago, so I don't know what he's using now.
I have a Sprint LS 998 converted to a US998. I've activated it with T-Mobile on Nov., 2020. It works fine on T-Mobile network until few days ago.
Now, my phone has issue with accessing data (4G/LTE) receptions at my house. The data reception comes in and stays for a short period then cuts off. I have to turn the data OFF then back ON, so I can get the data reception back, but not for long.
I have tried troubleshootings the issue with T-Mobile customer support, but the issue has not solved yet. I'd even factory reset my phone, but no help.
My phone is working fine at different locations.
The T-Mobile technician agreed that the issue is at their side, not my phone. He made a report. Hopefully, the issue will be solved this week.

No I meant H930, I didn't know it wouldnt work on TMO at all. Thanks good to know.
Yes I need to buy another V30 and it needs to work on TMO. I dont want another H932 because I want to go AOSP route, I dont see any viable options being released any time soon(except maybe new Pixel if they decide to add sd card), so looks like US998 might be my only option to have a decent phone with micro sd and with no bixby button.
