Problem with S9+ (G965FD)... Please, help! - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

This is the 2nd time, in 6 days I am facing this problem. I am on "SoLdieR9312s G96XBRGA ROM" (7.2 at the moment). From the 1st day I am on this ROM. With no reason, the phone is freezing, with no response. After few minutes, can turn it off, but I need to wait few minutes more to power it on again (Previous time, it took about 10 minutes to power on.). I tried to plug in it to adapter, but it looks like the phone was completely dead (no charging at all)! After that "death", in about 10 minutes, the phone has returned to its "normal state". After update from 7.1 to 7.2 and 1 hour on this newest update, the phone is "dead" again. This time, it can't reboot to system and can't go to twrp either. Only I can go to "Download Mode", but this time my laptop can't recognize the phone!
What am I supposed to do? Any help?
Is this problem with mainboard or something is wrong with the system?

Major issue, phone turning off, please help

hey guys
had an issue today, traded a desire for a HD2 as i really wanted to go back to winmo (crazy most people will think)
Now when i revieved the phone i turned it on everything seemed fine for about 20 mins (note i never used the phone apart from make a call to test)
by the time i had left after a good chat, i checked the phone back at work at it was turned off, i plugged in the charger, the little notification came on and i left it to charge, an hour later after a meeting i turned on the phone, it booted into windows and then after loading sense it crashed and restarted then got stuck on the splash screen
numerous battery pulls and the same issues, gets into windows doesnt load sense, freezes and blank screen, when i battery pull and turn on 90% stuck on the splash screen
installed a rom from the memory card (stock) worked for 10 minutes same issue
any ideas?
do you reckon iv been given a knackered phone?
anyone? iv managed to get it to boot, but after around 10 minutes, it just turns itself back on, pauses at the htc screen, then reboots again and gets into windows, then 10 minutes later does the same, i flashed to the most recent wwe firmware from htc, after it managed to stay on long enough to sync to the pc
im stumped

Had similar issue with my phone, random reboots after phone was working for a bit, stuck on bootscreen without displaying radio, partitions etc.
Called HTC, was a hardware issue obviously, the sent me a new replacement phon (warranty).
if you have HSPL
1. Task 29
2. when stuck in blank screen - pull battery out
3. bootloader
4. connect back to pc via usb
5. flash any stock ROM (not the latest 3.14 as it will change your HSPL)

[Q] Help: S3 broken?

Hi all, I bought my S3 last june in Italy. No problems at all ... until today.
This morning I left it on the table and after 5 minutes I saw it was turned on asking for the PIN code. I typed it, but after 5 minutes again I found it ... I supposed turned off. But then I couldn't tourn it on anymore. I tried to reset it keeping pressed the on/off button but nothing. I removed the battery and inserted it again after a minute but nothing. I keeped the battery out the phone for an hour, then inserted it again and the phone turned on.
All seemed ok, but then after 1 hour I found the phone stuck again: black screen, it seemed turned off but no button worked: reset, on/off ... Again: 30 minutes without battery then I could turn it on.
I'm not sure, but I suppose it hangs when going in stand-by. I tried to keep it on and it didn't hang for 1 hour. Then I backed up all my apps and data, tried to recover to factory default buuut ... it turned off but never tourned on, same problem as before ...
I suppose this should be important: I never rooted or modified the phone, it still i as I bought it.
UPDATE: it seems it can't reboot. If I try to rebbot while in AndroidOS the phone shut down but never turn on again (as described above) and then again take off the battery, wait minutes and so on. But even in recovery, where I tried to wipe cache e data/factory reset, if I choose reboot system, as before the phone shut down and ... same procedure again. I don't think it could be a software issue ...
Something about battery? But how could I check it out?
Any idea? Thank you all in advance.

I had thus exact same problem on my T-Mobile Galaxy S II. Something with the ROM and kernel that I flashed were clashing so I flashed another ROM. Try going into recovery mode if you can. I don't have an internationalS III but if you have flashed a recovery, then hold the volume buttons before you turn it on and continue to hold them until you get into recovery mode.

Dont know didn't find any info in your text about battery charge or plugging in power socket and try after 10 mins to boot the phone.
First of all than you.
A little update: it is definitely not a battery problem since I tried another battery but the problem was there again.
Moreover, I never changed the firmware or the modem and I never rooted it since I can't try another ROM, even if I would, it is not in the "state" to be rooted.
Soooo ... mother board?

[Q] Truesmart not charging/booting

Hey there,
i got my Truesmart, tried booting it and it worked. Battery was at 45%
I started the OTA-Update that was suggested after 10 minutes, it shut down and started the updating process, after which it remained black. I then put it into the craddle and tried charging it. Here is what happens now:
When charging, the omate spash-screen pops up for ~5-10 seconds and then blackscreen. This process repeats itself every ~30 seconds. I've already tested the spare battery with exactly the same result. Charging over usb gets the same results and a faulty usb message on my pc every blackscreen. I think, there is enough charge on the battery but I cannot test it.
What can I do from now? Is there a possibility to restore/flash the watch?
Help greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Kostronor

Looks like a bootloop to me. You should try to go back to stock rom. Most people use "sp flash tools", there are tutorials on this forum. (If you made no backup, you may find one also on this forum)

You interrupted the system update, so you've probably soft-bricked the watch. I'd take the above poster's advice and use SP to flash the stock firmware.
In the future, just as a point of advice on any device you own, don't do any OTA or recovery/backup processes if your battery is less than 60-70%. It probably won't make it.

[Q] Soft Bricked Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Toro)

My apologies if this is addressed elsewhere in the forum, but if it is I couldn't find it...at least, not exactly what I'm dealing with.
Phone: Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Toro)
I was running an unofficial Cyanogenmod of Android 5 on my phone for about 2 months with no problems. Last week the phone just shut off on it's own, and since then I've been stuck.
Here's what I can do (note, all these things can only be done if the phone is plugged in and has the battery in...no response at all if just on battery):
I can boot into the boot loader, and can toggle through the options (recover mode, start, etc), but every time I try to go int recovery the phone restarts, enters the google splash screen for a few seconds, then it flickers and shuts down, showing only the "battery charged" icon.
Same thing happens if I just try to start the phone normally...google splash screen, flicker, dead.
I've tried flashing a stable version of CM11 via the CM installer, but the phone just shuts down to the batter icon during the install.
My computer won't recognize the phone via usb (it keeps trying and failing, and trying and failing...again and again and again).
I tried accessing the phone via ODIN to flash the stock android 4.2.2 rom back onto it, but with no luck. Same problem as described above (i can also boot into ODIN Mode, but it stays on "downloading" and never gets past it - again, this is only when plugged in).
Before the crash the battery life was fine, and the "battery charged" icon shows it being fully charged whenever plugged in.
I've tried pulling the battery for long periods of time (overnight, all day, etc). Same result.
I feel like I hard bricked the thing...but if I did I wouldn't expect to be able to turn anything on...
Thanks, in advance for any suggestions!

continuous rebooting Mi8lite

Today at noon, I slept a little and left the phone to charge. When I woke up, I was on the phone for about 15 minutes after which it began to restart continuously. He had no problem before. I tried to enter recovery mode, I went in, but after a few seconds phone restarts. And if I get into the fastboot, the phone also restarts. What could i do and what could be the problem?
I'm sure it's physical problem, but you could try to reinstall the last official room from miui update. If it persist after that, you have to send it to repair.
