As above.
Options -> Accessibility -> Enable OTG
I think that should work
I just plug the dongle in mine and it automatically works.

I am trying to play music from my phone's SD card to my Clarion CZ300 car unit via USB. I've tried using automount, setting developer mode and USB mass storage mode (Settings > wireless and network > USB utilities > Connect storage to PC). I've also unmounted and mounted the sd card while the USB cable was connected.
Has anyone had success with this phone and a USB car stereo? If so, please let me know how you managed to make it work.

Why u don't use a cable like this one:
http://www.boppshop.de/images/schulz_gtbm.jpg
Out from phone and into "AUX" from radio.
I'm sure when u have USB, u will have en AUX, too
CHEERS
usb is much more convenient that aux. usb charges the phone and allows you to select the songs through the stereo instead of the phone.
This issue was definitely caused by the head unit. I bought a 2012 Kia Optima and the phone now works via USB. I have it set to debug mode and installed automount.
I tried the pacman 4.4.4 rom.
I have an usb ON to go cable + Go vibe mini U dac (which is usb).
I see the USB- DAC turned - powered on.
However I do my headphones in and music does not play.
The developer doesn't have time I read for android anymore.
I did see in sound settings the option : Dock- Audio. But it was greyed out, either shifted out of the rom, or my device is not recognized?
Does anyone please know a rom that might work with this???
Thanks!
Some of them work android auto?
I connect leetv max 2 with the original USB-C cable to my car (KIA RIO) and my car does not detect it, I performed several steps:
1) connect usb cable, ask me the USB mode I want, I have selected MTP, PTP and only load and it does not work.
2) I enable the USB debugging mode, I connect max 2 to my car, it asks me the USB connection mode, I tried with all and it does not work.
3) The bluetooth also does not connect, in fact leetv max 2 does not show the bluetooth of my car.
I changed my nexus 6 for this equipment, nexus 6 did not give me problems with android auto and my car, always worked.
Thank you

Hi,
I want to control my Motorola Moto Z Play over USB Debugging with my Notebook. The Problem is that I must confirm that the Notebook is trustable, but my Touchscreen doesn't function. So I must confirm it with a keyobard or mouse after I connect it with the Notebook.
I testet a USB Hub: Smartphone -> OTG Adapter -> USB Hub -> Notebook (usb male to male cable) + Keyboard.
The Keyboard has functioned and my phone was charging, but the confirm button doesnt come. I also couldn't see the phone as an adb device.
Can I solve this Problem or do I have to buy a new screen?
Best regards
motozmod
And what exactly is your laptop?
Hello all,
I am currently trying to connect my wired Xbox 360 Controller to my Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro. I am using a USB-A female to Micro-USB OTG cable, with a female Micro-USB to USB-C converter for my Huawei's input jack. The Xbox 360 Controller plugs directly into the female USB side of the OTG cable. Like the YouTube videos suggest, you are supposed to simply connect the controller, and it will work. However, in my case, the controller will be supplied power, but not detected. When I scroll down to see notifications, it shows that power is being supplied to a USB device. When I clicked the touch for more options button, reverse charging was selected, and clicking any other option would bring it back to reverse charging. No app was detecting any movement of the controller, and the "Easy OTG Checker" app that I found in the app store detected it as Unknown. I then went to settings, but the USB section of the Device Connections tab was grayed out, and showed the text "Disconnected." After doing some research, I tried to fix the problem by turning on USB Debugging in the developer tools section(I had to turn on "Allow ADB Debugging in charge mode only" to do so), but it still wasn't detected, and the USB tab was still the grayed out and "Disconnected." I also tried connecting the controller in the Huawei's "Safe Mode", in case some app or security system wasn't allowing it. This didn't work either. Nobody else I've found on the internet has this same issue. Any Ideas how to fix this?
Thanks!
Extra Info:
Android Version - 8.0.0
The Xbox controller had a loose cable once, but this was mostly fixed with a cable patch, only leaving one button to be faulty every once in a while. Worked fine though on my computer.
Dang this forum isn't responsive at all XD
I have the same issue, you are not alone. Its a while ago that i tried to find a solution but didnt...
