Hello Everyone.
I would like some input from V30 users as I intend to swap my Pixel 2 XL with V30.
Reasons of swapping Pixel 2 XL.
No headphone jack.
Bluetooth earphones very expensive. (The one Having no sound delay in pubg mobile).
Charging time.
Reaons for switching to V30.
Headphone jack
Can play pubg while charging my phone coz I have type c handsfree.
Same processor
Same display size
Plus I do not give priority to camera. For me it is performance and I have been using Motorola for couple of years till Z force.
My only concern in switching to V30 is bootloop issue. I would like to know if V30 is affected by it or not.

Thanks for reply. Much appreciated.
V30 will get Android Pie probably in May 2019, if that matters to you.
I have never had any bootloop. Rooted my phone day one with the bootloader unlock exploit, very easy to do.
Amazing phone all around for my needs. No weird stuff like notches or missing ports... Great design: 6" but still one-hand usable, outstanding battery life... :good:

Hi all,
I live in Germany and saw that the local Aldi's (grocery/mini walmart store) had some bluetooth headphones on sale. They were 30 euros so about 35 US dollars. Decided to give them a try since I thought 30 euros wasn't bad. I'm really surprised how good they are. I have LG+ Tone 700 and these are pretty comparable. This also has A2DP and uses bluetooth 4.0. It paired quickly with the note 3 and got it up and running with no hitches. The sound quality is good. I'm going to give them more of a trial run later.
They also charged extremely fast at only 2 hours. Run time it says is about 4 hours but if the recharge time is that small, I don't see a big deal with it being shorter time for the charge to last. They have a 3 year guarantee and it's USB chargeable only but I'm sure you can find an normal adapter if you wanted the wall plug. To charge the headphones, it's kind of funky. It's like a clip to some small prongs. Not a normal microusb charger. The controller on it is pretty small and you need to like mash on the buttons a little but it seems to be alright for normal use. They're really light and have only the headphone wire which I like because the neck loop on the LG sometimes is irritating for me.
Anyhow, thought you all might want to check it out for those who live near an Aldi's in Europe or in Germany. The manufacturer is Maginon, model BTH-100. I think it's probably a no name but I'm not sure of products here.
here's the german link. Not much info but enough: http://www.supra-electronics.com/typo3/?id=119&tx_oid=685&L=0
long term use
Hi Kamfl610,
Thanks for the short review. I just run into this and I would like to ask if you opinion changed after a longer use? You are using it for almost 2 months now.
Thanks

I'm interested about feed backs. Wanna share? Thanks!
I too had a pair of LG Tone 700, and due to how much I used them, one of the wires to the earbud shorted out. I replaced my set with the LG Tone 730 (the newer model), I gotta say, I love those even more!
I do have to add, however, that as far as I know, the HBS-700 model uses bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, not 4.0. The 730 model uses bluetooth 3.0, which isn't bad, but that's not 4.0. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3-oUPLWaNGNN0p4NEs2OEJkalk/edit?usp=sharing
I do suggest paying the difference and getting the LG HBS 730 instead of the 700. The battery seems to last longer as compared to the 700s I had, and I like that fact that it tells me if the battery is high, medium, or low when I turn it on (as the old set did not do).
the LG tone 730 physical buttons works well on KitKat?

Hi all,
Meant to reply to this. I took them out for a longer run. The sound quality is still decent for 30 euros but how far away the phone had to be away from the headphones is not very far. I started getting a little static and some stuttering quality when i had the phone down in my bag. Along with that, when the phone was kind of bumping against me, I was getting gaps in the sound from the headphones and my music. I find this kind of not a good thing. If you want something cheap and just for daily use (no running with them or heavy exercise) and you can keep the phone close, it's not bad. I've gone back to LG tone +700 again. The 730's are too expensive right now in Germany and I don't even see the 800 model yet. I tried also the Delycons because they were 50 euros and i saw decent reviews on Amazon for them and I was disappointed with them. They were similar in style to the 30 euro ones but were suppose to have good sound. I didn't find that. I normally use PowerAmp Player but the bass was so muddy in the Delycons that I had to go to the Google Music player to even out the sounds. That seemed totally wrong to me so I sent them back. I'm going to use the 700's for awhile because I haven't found anything that remotely meets the same specs and sound quality. I just wish it didn't have the neckband. Anyhow, that's just my view.
Ok, so I got G3 from a contract and gave it to little sis and she still uses her Beats earbuds so I was all happy with new pair of earbuds for free - but I tried it on 2 phones and cant get the sound right.
My Xperia Z2 - wont work, only left is working
Old ZTE Blade 3 phone - distorted sound, could barely get both buds to work if I wiggle the jack a bit
As I have seen these earbuds are sold separately and as a stand-alone product, Im wondering is there a difference in audio jack for a bundled version and stand-alone version .. ?
pleaste if you have them, try them on a non-LG device and tell me. Cause Im planing on replacing the 3.5mm jack if that is the case.
I wanna know that too...
And also
I bought some stand alone Quadbeats 2 for me and it sounded very bad compared to the ones a friend of mine had which came with his G3...
I wonder do they (LG) put the same work and dedication for both, or they are not caring for their stand alone products? Or the ones that I bought was fake?
Thank You
LG's approach to headphone audio is different from universal. Wanted to give my sister Quadbeats on her S4 because I got much better earbuds but Quadbeats just dont work for her. I experience the issue only on other phones than LG's.
Since I use third-party earbuds (Sony ones which are much better and more expensive) I have to plug and unplug them (5-10 times) until the phone recognizes them as standard headphones. Otherwise it would go wild launching google voice search, changing tracks, changing volume and stopping music every 3 seconds.
Get a pair of Sennheiser CX3.00 or CX5.00. Get the G version. They work excellent with the LG G3 and the sound is so much better then the Quadbeat headphones.
So, even though no one answered exactly my question I get the point - Im slicing them up. Putting regular 3.5mm jack while connecting only ground and L/R and dont care for the rest of the wires/buttons. Ah man, I love soldering.
hi guys
I wanna to buy lg v10 probably the 32gb international version h960 one sim

If u really want to experience the superior audio the V10 has to offer, use a very nice set of wired headphones. U can IMMEDIATELY tell the difference in audio quality once the HiFi is switched on.
When it comes to gaming, I don't do intense gaming on mine. I play casual games like Clash of Clans or something. I experience no lag. Battery life does suck in some cases. I've noticed that since I uninstalled facebook, my battery is amazing now. Easily lasts all day.

The only game I play is respawnable and some roms on mame, no lags by far.
The audio quality is best with wired headphones. I use a Lg Bluetooth Headphone and for me sounds good.
Battery life on this device it depends on how you use it, it seems you're a super heavy user, maybe the battery is going to be a problem for you unless you have the time to plug the charger for 15-20 min. twice a day...
Desde V10 (LG-H901)
is Bluetooth set work HiFi or only wired one
Hello All,
I have just gotten a Poco F1 and installed the Pixel experience plus on it. I have issues with the audio quality it puts out being rubbish. I get plenty of volume, usually listening at around 65=80%. It just sounds so muddy and tinny with no definition in it on my V-Moda Crossfade headphones, in both wired and wireless. I don't really know how to describe it, like there is no layers in the sound that I am used to hearing from my previous phone a Sony XA2 . (not saying the Sony is the best sounding thing but its a lot better then what i am getting from my Poco F1)
I have tried playing with android4viper which made it a little better but it is still barely listenable
Is their something wrong with this ROM with using the SD845 decoder / DAC? Is their any way i can improve it? I cannot find anything on the forum relating to my issue. Or am i just being to picky? Would i be better off running a USB C DAC with an OTG cable?
Thank you for everything!

Nope, You're better off with a external DAC like the Mojo, Ive relegated my mojo to secondary phone status after trying out many different audio mods, All of them barely helping out in any way. My older LG V30 still kicks ass in that department.
Probably the most asked question here, but the phone shop I just dropped my V30 at for an eazy Aux-port repair broke my phone and I am in need of a new one. Since I can't buy this phone again, are there any comparable phones on the market right now? N°1 feature was the headphone jack + HiFi DAC ofcourse...
Edit: can I delete this thread? Am stupid and just saw the other one.
You won't like Android 11/12... it's not a pretty sight.
I would say a new Note 10+ Snapdragon running on 10 but no 3.5mm jack. Otherwise get this work horse; build quality is excellent. They just run well with a gorgeous, probably the best 60hz display ever made. The Buds+ sound good with the SCC codec but nothing near the sound Q of your LG jack output. The C port audio adapter is awkward at best.
Maybe a midrange Samsung with headphone jack and a SD card slot. Samsung's UI takes the edge off of Android 10 so it runs almost like 9.
There's also HTC and Sony but there UI is inferior to Samsung's in my opinion. Get something with a SD card slot preferably running on Android 10 and do not upgrade it.
All newer 5G and variable refresh rate phones are having hardware issues it seems. Android 11 isn't helping things at all either.
