Amazfit stratos: bike mount? - Amazfit

Hi, I would like to mount the watch on my mtb handlebar...
Is there a compatible bike mount or a quick release 22mm band short enough?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Car Mount

Anyone found a decent car mount for the wizard
I need one for satnav. I've seen one for about £45 that has a built in speaker etc - don't really need that
Would be interesting to hear (and see pics) of what people are using
Hi Hays,
Have you considered the Brodit holder solution?
Have a look (link below) or drop me a message and I will be happy to advise (Wizard listed either as Xda Minis or MDA vario)
you have the choice of passive holders, active holders charged by cig lighter or permanent fixed power version also for hidden cables etc. All attach onto a proclip mount that is specific to your vehicle, in a variety of positions on your dashboard.
Hope that helps,
Cheers, Bryson
That kit looks very good quality - seems quite expensive though !!
I use different cars at work, so I need something that can be moved easily. Could I use the holder with a different mount, ie perhaps a vent mount (that's not too hard to move from car to car) or failing that a suction mount (not too keen on a suction mount due to the smaller display of the mini s )
Was thinking of this

Bryson, I'm after a active holder with no cable attached, so that I can add a "Y"-type lighter plug cable that will charge both my Qtek 9100 and my Bluetooth GPS mouse. (I had a similar one for my h6340, and want to stay with Brodit.)
Is Brodit developing such a holder design soon?
Hi,
Yeah there are 2 available from Brodit, codes 848650 & 848655 (Called passives so you can insert your cable as mentioned)
Check this link and scroll down past the Xda Exec holders to the Mda Vario/Xda Mini S/ Qtek 9100 holders
http://www.dsldevelopments.com/tmobile/tmobile.html
Hope that helps, take care, Thanks!
Hello,
I got mine shiped from the US to Germany within 2 weeks from www.thepocketsolution.com which have a fast feedback and good customer support in general. The mount device works perfectly well as expected.

I got the brodit clip and horizontal holder for my XDA Mini S from dsldevelopments, and am very happy with both the clip and the service!
I tried one of those cheap ebay mounts that clips onto the airvent but thay was useless and moved all over the place. The brodit clip goes over my S60's vent perfectly and is very solid.
The only thing I would suggest is instead of using the supplied screws to attach the holder to the mount - use velcro. I did this on mine so that I can quickly remove the holder and put it in the glove box. Good for security as passers by cant see I have a satnav mount and wont try breaking in to see if its in the glovebox!
Hi,
Instead of velcro, Brodit make a 'Moveclip', one part fits on the back of the holder, the female (2 supplied for x2 proclips) part fits onto the proclip, and both parts slide together, giving an very strong fix, and also the flexibilty of being able to move a holder between 2 vehicles with proclips/gooseneck installed. (also serves the same purpose of being able to remove the holder from sight to stop the thieves!)
Hope that helps, heres a link:

Cheers,
Bryson!
instead of a car mount I did something different. I just bought myself a nice case for the mda vario (e.g. noreve, piel frama). These cases are made of leather, and therefore they have good grip.
I just lay the case on the kilometer radial in front of me, and it stays there. Even in sharp corners.
The advantages are: cheap as you don't need a car mount and thief protection as there is no car mount visible.

Car kit/mount.

Has anyone found or/and is using a decent car mount?
I'm looking for one that is powered (with micro USB) with maybe a fm transmitter and bluetooth.
Thanks.
Halfords phone holder
Incar charger from T-Mobile
if anyone is using a charger for their car, i'm wondering how fast it is to charge a battery with it?
is it like when charging through your PC (slow) or just like it's standard charging?
Check brodit.com, they have/will have soon, a good holder/charger for the phone
/MKL
I make use of a Parrot MKi9100 Solution via BT.
Charging happens by a cut + angled Micro-USB Cable that is soldered to the +12V ignition Bus (with some resistors, a fuse and so on), which comes out of the front window air ventilation from my dashboard.
The Phone itself is also used as GPS Navigation System and rests in a holder, like you know it from 3rd Party PNAs (I don't know the English Word for such a holder atm.. sorry.)
I've just purchased the Brodit Fixed install Active Cradle and the car specific ProClip mounting bracket from http://www.dsldevelopments.com/
for $96 AUD inc P&H
I figured this would be a good future proof solution as if I upgrade my phone then I just need to get the right cradle and it will fit straight to the ProClip.
When it arrives I'll take photos of the install.
Yeah, I'm looking for a good landscape car mount for my X10 (has to be adjustable as I have a thin rubber case on the phone), as well as car charger and hands-free speakersphone for Christmas.

also Canadian Tire has a charger from duracell that looks like it will fit the bill for many different phones multi ends and all.
I couldnt find any proper hands free car kits for the Xperia. I'm happy to use a Blueant X9i got 3x $100 off ebay.co.hk!
I got one of these:
http://universalfuze.com/parrot_minikit.html
I think it is great!!!
I only use brodit, for the last 5 phones...
Got my Brodit kit yesterday, installed it in 10 minutes.
Forgot to take photos but can easily do it again.
The mounting face clips onto my dash near the stereo quite securely then the swivel mount just screws to that. I drilled some small pilot holes in the mounting face to make it easier and neater to screw the swivel mount into place, then just attach the phone mount to that. Plug into cigarette lighter, done.
In the not to distant future I'm going to install a secondary cigarette light socket hidden behind the dash. Its pretty easy to just hook into the existing cigarette lighter wiring, this will give the car kit the look of a permanently installed device, but actually make it pretty easy to remove. And free up the cigarette lighter for other chargers (iphone, usb adaptor for Blueant charger, etc)
So, I ended up picking up a iGrip Traveler Kit at The Source for $30. The suction cup holds pretty well on my Magellan GPS mounting plate (though has fallen off once or twice after the car gets well warmed up from the winter cold... I rigged a string to my windshield vent to prevent it from falling), and the actual holder grips the X10 superbly, even in the rubber shell case I have. You can very easily pivot it and rotate it from portrait to landscape.
For the charger, I'm using the one that came with my Jabra Cruiser.

I was using this cup holder mount that has a short gooseneck (Bracketron Universal Cup-iT with Grip-iT), and that was working fine for me. However, the position of the phone wasn't the best since I had to look down and toward my side to view it.
I just got this mount that goes into the CD slot of my car stereo, and this one is pretty nice. It's the Mountek MT5000. The mount blades slide right into the front of the CD slot, and then you just twist this little nut in the back a bit to tighten the blade grip. My X10 fits nice and snug, and now it's in a better viewing position.
If I need power, I just use one of those inexpensive USB chargers from eBay. A ten-minute job of opening one of those up, soldering together the data pins, and it works good for the phone.

Sorry but all these ideas sound pretty crap. I totally agree with vmiguel and will only buy Brodit from now on.
i have been using the ebay x10 windshield mount. for $12 it's doing a pretty good job compared to the other ebay mounts for my other phones. i'm not a fan of universal window mount kits..
not a big fan of universal kits either.
i attached (sorry, couldn't find one without a watermark, but i won't link to their ebay auction) a picture of a kit that's sold on ebay, does anyone have experience with this one? the one pictures is meant to attach to an air vent but there's also one with a suction cup. it looks like it has a good fit with the x10.
I'm going to need something like your kits.
Need more options, please!

I've been through a bunch of car mounting solutions already. They include:
Cup mount: www.bracketron.com/products/universal-cup-it-with-grip-it
Cigarette power mount: www.bracketron.com/products/universal-usb-power-dock
Air vent: www.bracketron.com/products/mobile-grip-it-universal-holder
CD slot: www.mountek.com
My favorite is the Mountek CD slot mount. Its quite inventive.
The air vent one from Bracketron is good too. Its spring clips hold everything nice and firmly.
The cup mount was good too, but it doesn't offer a good viewing angle and reach for the phone.

I use this one, and love it. The drawback is you have to remove any case before putting it in the mount. I got the hang of one handed removal, but it was a bit difficult at first. Easy to rotate to landscape. Camera hole in back for using any apps that layer gps info over real time camera view. Vent mount won't work with circular/spherical type vents in some cars. You'll know what I mean if you have one of those cars.

Vehicle Mounts

Here are some vehicle mounts that will work with the HTC Jetstream:
Windshield:http://www.arkon.com/tablet-accessories/universal-tablet-windshield-mount.html
Can purchase from: http://www.semsons.com/aruntawimowi.html
Center Console / Seat Bolt Mounting:http://www.arkon.com/tablet-accessories/universal-tablet-car-mount.html

If you find any other good ones, post them below!
I personally purchased the seat bolt mounting holder and it works great!

I just bought the windshield mount and I'm impressed how well it works. Thumbs up for this product.

[Q] TF101 VESA Adapter

I'm looking for a way to attach my Transformer to various surfaces and be able to have a flexible way of positioning it in various poses (including facing straight down so it can be used when lying down). My PC monitor mount has that functionality already, it has a clamp that attaches to my desk and an arm that extends, tilts and swivels. This would be ideal apart from the lack of VESA holes in the back of the Transformer.
The closest mount I have discovered so far is this one: Sanlise Universal Desktop 360º Adjustable Mount. Unfortunately it's from Hong Kong so the postage pushes the price up to around £80, way too much considering what it is.
Does anyone know of a VESA adapter that can be attached to the Transformer and then attached to a normal VESA monitor arm?
During my search for a VESA solution I came across this Brodit passive holder with tilt swivel (item no. 511273). It makes no mention of VESA compatibility but does have four connectors of some sort in a VESA square layout. It's hard to see in the picture. If you have this item do you think it's possible to connect it to a VESA mounting on a monitor arm like this stand?
what is the distance between the holes on the vesa stand?

You could use an interface piece of material (wood or somethiong to sit between your monitor arm, and the brodit holder. Brodit holders do not use VESA mounts as normal. I doubt they have on the tablet holder. They are normally designed for car mount solutions which have a 2"x3" (approx) face to mount on to.

Ideally I'd like something which is designed to do the job but it's looking more and more like there isn't anything specific to my needs. I may have to try chance my arm and get the Brodit and use your idea, georgedeaves.
Just come across an Arkon Heavy Duty 22" Tablet C-Clamp Mount (click here for a review). Looks promising if they sell them in the UK, otherwise postage costs may make it unfeasible.
just use hot glue and duct tape

Brodit holder measures tomorrow! Have car in repair now.
[EDIT]
Found some specs in little brodit holder package:
4 holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 1.188" by 1.813" -> 2.84cm x 4.61cm
[/EDIT]
A this point i think you need a sort of adapter...
Available in the US at Amazon and UK

I may have found the solution. I stumbled across the Tough Tray II Universal Laptop & Tablet Holder. Here's a demonstration on YouTube. It's a bit of an ugly beast but will hold the Transformer and can be connected to a VESA mount. It also seems to be highly customisable and the company that makes it have all sorts of other parts that can be connected to it for different needs, rather like a meccano set.

[Q] Car holder original frame compatible with HR mount?

These four mount blocks in the back of the holder frame look like they're compatible with Herbert Richter mounts. Did anybody try to put these together?
