Help! Awful battery drain - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

Well, I'm using Kernel Manager for Franco Kernel, Naptime and Servicely to improve the battery life and performance of my Le Max 2 (rooted). And until last night was working very well, betwenn 4 and 5 hours of SoT depending of the usage. What happened? I don't know. Last night I go to sleep with 51 per cent of battery and this morning I woke up with 36 per cent...two hours later with heavy usage I was in 18...
In general I was between 4,5 and 5,2 of active drain and 1,4 to 1,9 of iddle drain. This morning was about of 9 for active and 22 of iddle
Just when I woke up go to BetterBatteryStats to see any weird thing and in Kernel Wakelock I see "netmgr_wl" with more than 60 per cent active in almost 7 hours...turn off the phone (rebooted too) and the statistics of the active and iddle drain, didn't improve that much...now I'm charging the device

I must say that in battery system stats I have "Android operative system" in 17 per cent, I usually have it on 10

[Q] Battery life normal?

Hi guys,
I'm using GingerMod v0.3 with the default kernel (ninphetamine 2.1.3).
My battery was at 100% when i went to sleep. After about 8 hours when i woke up, it dropped to 92%. Is that normal?
I have turned off automatic sync as well as gps. Even "Back up my data" and "Automatic restore" was off. Display was at a minimum 3%. Most of the battery % was used up by Android OS.
given the percentage of the draining 8% over 8 hours i quess is pretty good. I quess different rom + kernel produce different effects. Yours is considered ok.
ya the drain is quite normal

1% an hour during sleep mode is considered good? i had the impression that it would only drop 3-4% during sleep.

More than good I'd say. And you never can have a constant rate, one night it will be 3-4%, other night it will be 9-10%, depends on the processes running at that period. If you have Better Battery Stats installed then you will be able to see what had cost that extra drainage under Partial Wakelocks section.
I normally have 3-4% drain in an overnight period of 8-9 hours, but yesterday it was 15%. Then I saw it was Camera360 Ultimate which was running and searching for GPS!
Regards.
That's about similar to what i get on standby with data enabled so yeah good battery there/
Thats good ? Mine drops 1 percent overnight (+-10 hours) with original battery Or stays at 100 until morning when I wake up with 2000mah bat... Data and wifi turned off.
But I presume thats just me being battery friendly user
I tried better battery stats and it seems the Email app is consuming the most resources during sleep. hmm...

Battery life with Hyperdroid 4.4.7

Since i'm not allowed to post in the dev section of the Hyperdroid thread i'll ask this here.
I'm running on Hyperdroid 4.4.7 with the latest Ultimate kernel but batterydrain is pretty high.
On 3.x and 4.0 it lasted over 72-80 hours with medium useage, now with the same usage it's on 55% after 12 hours.
I tried emptying the caches and a re-wipe but battery drain stays the same.
Is this normal for the 4.4.7 update?
Thanks
Arjan
72-80 hours with medium usage? LOL! What's medium usage for you? Also what battery do you have installed?
You can try to delete battery stats and give the phone around 4-5 cycles till the battery recalibrates itself.
Hehe medium usage for me means 32 active apps of which 7 update every 15-60 mins, screen on every 15 mins, fulltime wifi, an hour a day orso bluetooth connection, just normal use i think.
I use the standard battery and i will wipe the battery stats to see how that works.
Maybe i'm just spoiled..

1% drain per hour at idle..normal?

Just curious what kind of battery drain other people are seeing with their RAZR. In airplane mode at night, I am getting between 0.2 and 0.3% drain per hour. However, this jumps to 1% per hour if I turn on my cellular data. Is this normal? It seems high for the phone being at idle with no usage at night while I am asleep.
That seems...incredibly low, or normal at worst.

I'm draining more than that at night..with no usage..
Sent from my ICS Moto Razr XT910
I would do a happy dance at only a 1% idle drain.
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
yes it's normal 1% for 3 hours with no data on razr
on galaxy s2 1% for 2,5 hours no data
on galaxy tab plus (with ics!) 1% for 12 hours....yes I wrote right...it does an amazing 1 month and more (cause I needed to use it! and charged back but there were 22% left of battery) of pure standby EPIC deep sleep mode there guys and the 4 ampere battery does the rest

overnight drain

I m getting pretty high drain over night around' 15 % i don't wanna use schedule turn off since i get delay message'
Help me solve the issue
Last time I checked I lost 9% over night when my old Samsung would be 2 or 3% which is rather off when the power management on these is so aggressive
I'm losing 3-4% over 8 hours.
Maybe is google fault there are reports of the play services having a lot of battery drain

Question Realme GT battery life

I'm not really satisfied with battery life of my less than two months old Realme GT 12/256 GB.
What is your average screen on time on this phone?
Mine would be in the 3.5-5 hours range in a day and a half, maybe more if I watch a movie or something.
I'm not playing games and only have Viber, WhatsApp, Facebook... usual stuff.
I didn't see any tanglible difference between "auto" and 60 Hz screen mode regarding battery life.
Also, what percentage of battery drain do you see overnight?
I'm on latest firmware, tried every possible battery saving combination, but always have at least 3% battery drain overnight (usually around 4% in 7-8 hours) and that with radio and all apps off and various battery saving settings applied (global and per app).
I'm starting to believe it's "normal" for this phone and its SD 888 chipset.
Thanks.
Same
I have very similar results as you. Battery life is just ok.
Current battery life:
from 93% to 28% in 1d 19h, SOT: 3h 15min.
Before this I had Poco F3 for a month or so and I don't recall exactly, but it was something like a 1%, 2% max. drain overnight with pretty much the same usage pattern.
Also I have Lenovo tablet with far weaker MTK CPU but not much bigger battery (5000 mAh and 10.3'' screen) and that one almost doesn't use battery in standby mode (beats all phones I had).
I'm currently disabling various apps and testing and I'll post here if I find out something useful.
Optimized standby - Ultra standby makes exactly no difference in my current setup so I turned it off completely.
Quick device connect is also turned off and not in use, as far as I can tell.
