Hi all guys today afternoon i rooted my xperia tablet s by the new method , unfortunately after several hours of use and after several reboots ,suddenly, after my last reboot , my xperia tablet s doesn't boot and got stucked on SONY logo. I tryed to enter recovery but i can't :/ I am a little bit noob can someone help me? Or i have to send it to assistance? Plz help me

es algo complicado entrar en el menu recovery en esta tablet, luego de intentar e intentar logre entrar, la combinacion es la siguiente: volumen + (mantenlo presionado siempre) presionas power... al encender la pantalla lo sueltas, cuando aparezca el logo sony (es algo rapido) presionas de nuevo y lo mantienes pulsado... si lo haz hecho bien... el logo sony desaparece y sale como distorcionado, en ese momento sueltas power y lo presionas repetidamente! Ya te debe aparecer el Menu REcovery
No se cual es el metodo para entrar a dicho menu... pero asi es que lo hago

I had the same problem... after i got root and downloaded various applications, and modify built.prop to make it compatible with some games, I put the original built.prop, then i reset and after that SONY logo disappeared, the screen stayed gray ... I entered the recovery menu, load a update from SD card (the firmewares I got are txs03)
I can not update!!! if somebody can help me.. please, let me know

Custom roms dude? Dont be eager! It's a new device! slow down dude!
Well I read in some place (searching on Google) that Rom Manager allows to Root the phone and also in one German page has the procedure, personally I did not tried because one of the topic answers says that the device has bricked... and Root Is sooo necesary because of all the bloatware thet the Idol Ultra 6033a, 6033d and 6033x has on the firmware.
Please some help or guidance will be usefull for us new users of the Idol Ultra. Thanks in advance!

I bought this phone 4 days ago. It's amazing, I love it.
It has some mistakes: In the stock camera app, you cannot change the resolution before you record a video. You can just select 'high' and 'fine'!
When I took photos, sometimes the autofocus wasn't perfect and i could't do any picture of my computer monitor, because the focus is bad every time! ( I will upload here a pic tomorrow )
And the autofocus's often clicking. I dont' know that it is normal or dont
So I think that the biggest problem with tis phone is the camera. I hope new roms will fix this problems!
Furthermore, I'm very satisfied with the phone!

The 6030D has been rooted now. I think the idol ultra's rooting must be the same as the 6030D, but I didn't tried it yet.
Not so many people have this phone sadly...

I have Alcatel Idol 6033a, I tried everything, I only get install CWM, but no results for root even change the name of root package as update.zip. The problem I have is I cant mount sd card (cause have internal memory).

i have the OT-6033a i don't know if the difference in the last letter it's to important i hope not, but i will help with all theinfo i find, and i hope someone would help us at least to root it.

So i found this root tool from a chinese site http://www.mgyun.com/vroot and i've found that some smartphones, and some from Alcatel, had been succesfully rooted with it. I'm not sure if i will try it because i don't want to brick it but it sounds interesting, i'll search for more information about it.

Yup it is workin in my alcatel idol 6033, just install the program, connect the phone with USB cable, activate USB debuggerin,
wait for update, then click root, and a a reboot will occur, after reboot you will be root, with a chinese root app. (I used root cheker and yes, we finally have a functionally root).
I dont know to delete the chinese root and use a seperuser or another one, if this chinese root app requeste permission, just click the second option to the right, to authorize root access to apps.
Español: Si en efecto esta aplicacion que encontro Walkin_mn, me funciono para rootear el Alcatel Idol Ultra, para ver el link revisa el poste de arriba hay que instalarla, despues abrirla, conecta tu telefono cn el cable USB, activa la depuracion USB, da click en donde hay unos simbolos chinos y dice ROOT, espera a que se cargue la actualizacion del programa, luego vendra un reinicio, despues del reinicio ya tendras acceso root, con una aplicacion china, en esta aplicacion la opcion de la derecha es la que es el equivalente a autorizar las aplicaciones que requieren ROOT, ignoro como desinstalarla para usar superuser u otra mas. So with a little more confidence brought by @ALUCARD77MX i tried this root method and it worked in my OT-6033a this software is a little disconcerting because it's all in chinese but it's fairly easy:
install the software and kepp it open
Put your device in debugging mode
Connect your device to the PC
The root software will recognize your device (this is important)
Then you start rooting clicking the green button on the lower right corner and wait until a tick appears on the pc
Your smartphone will reboot and it will be rooted with the chinese superuser app
Taht's all but i wanted Super SU instead of the chinese superuser app, i'm not sure this will work wit everyone but what i did was install Super SU giving it permisions with the othe app, then in Super SU i went to configuration and in the cleaning section i went to reinstall, this wiped both of the superuser apps and then installed Super SU from playstore.
And that's it, happy rooting
Oh and next step is bring some Roms for 4.2 or 4.3 let's hope someone can help us with this.

Pues con más confianza que me dió el root de ALucard77MX probé este método para Root y funciono en my OT-6033, este programa es un poco desconcertante por que está todo en chino (mandarín?) pero realmente es fácil de usar:
Instala el software en tu computadora
Pon tu smartphone en modo de depuración (debugging mode)
Conecta tu aparato a la computadora
El programa de root reconocerá tu aparato (esto es importante)
Comienzas el proceso de Rooting dando click en el botón verde en la esquina inferior derecha y esperas hasta que aparezca una palomita
Tu smartphone se reiniciará y ya estará ruteado y con la aplicación superuser china
Eso es todo, pero quería tener Super SU como app de superusuario en vez de la app china (no se entendía nada) este proceso no se si funcionaría para todos, pero lo que hice para remplazar la app fue, instalar Super SU y darle permisos con la otra app, luego en Super SU fui a Ajustes y de ahí a la sección de limpieza y le di en reinstalar, esto desinstaló las dos apps de superusuario (sin perder root) y luego volví a instalar Super SU desde la playstore y listo, espero les sirva esto a todos los que tienen el Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra.

My padfone was bricked when I tried to replace the recovery by TWRP via goomanager (TWRP official recommended).
The procedure of goomanager makes nothing happens, it seems like just download the TWRP package.
The problem is that phone has different protection policies compared to HTC, samsung etc and the bootloader (fastboot mode) is locked by default.
In other words, there is no such a way to connect your phone when your rom, recovery did not pass the verification unless unlock the bootloader by ASUS official tool and void warranty before your operations.
If the recovery or roms did not pass the validation then the left-top corner of screen will show 'invalid kernel' and the phone haven't been unlocked to be premised to visit fastboot mode then the phone will be bricked.
I think there is two way to unbrick, the first is to unlock the bootloader by external connector, the other is to flash official recovery data by external. But when I tried to search solutions, I got nothing about padfone A66 even that RIFFBOX official forum.
Does anyone have an ideal to help me break the difficult circumstances?

even after bootloader unlock still got invalid kernel.. and there is no way to connect the device to pc in this case.

in Windows 7 64 devicemanger the phone does show up as: ASUS android bootloader interface. In other words; Windows can see the phone.
What if you connect the bricked phone to a Linuxcomputer. Would that help? I mean, System and Storage are all on one single eMMc inside the phone. Is there no way to access this and read - write on it?

Maybe I founded a soution for unbrick asus A66 with qualcomm download mode.
form teh pst ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136738 ) I take qlod.py and other stuff, just dosen't work because need proer signed MPRG8260.hex file for waking up the phone from a "deep sleep".
This "invalid kernel" has just happened to me for the second time when downgrading to 4.0.3 ICS using TWRP and I'm rather frustrated right now. I'm posting here because I am highly interested in a way to fix this that does not involve ASUS, which I've already done.
What's the deal with this signed MPRG8260.hex file? Also, is there anything new concerning a fix using JTAG? Is there anyone out there who can fix it and would offer a repair? I really want to get this brick back to life.

Hello,
I have a Ulefone Armor 3T with the stock firmware and software. It appears Ulefone has posted a firmware update on the Ulefone Software updates page (I can't post the URL yet, do to XDA new user restrictions, but you can find it on their website).
I have followed the directions, but can't figure out how to boot up the phone, so that the PC sees it as a COM port, not a USB portable device, and keeps it connected via COM port. The directions say to make sure the phone is off, hold the volume up/down at the same time and plug it into the computer using USB, then run the firmware loader's SCAN mode to find the com port. I can do that, it finds the com port (different every time, but usually COM8, COM11, COM12), but then the battery starts charging and the software can't find the phone anymore. It's as if the firmware update mode won't stick?
I'm new to Android and Ulefone. Maybe I"m holding the button too long or not long enough? If I hold the volume buttons too long, it goes into some kind of recovery mode. Any suggestions appreciated.

Today in the morning watch showed 9% on battery and I placed it to charge and after an 1 hour I came back to check and it was showing Amazfit logo, the one when you boot the device but logo stays forever. If I hold red button to reset it reloads and starts by itself. Also there is no way to turn it off.
Everything was working fine in the morning before the charge and all other days.
Maybe someone has experienced same stuff. Watch is only 1 month old...

The same situation here. I have tried everything without success. I am thinking that next version of zeep maybe automatically fix the issue.

Hey, I have a GTR 2, and at first I thought that the bootloop issue is software based. That can be easily fixed if you put the watch on the charger as it can finish loading even with a corrupted watchface installed.
In my case however, the watch only worked for a short time after I've put it in the freezer. That is a hardware issue. All that can be done is to get it replaced by the store that sold it to you, or in case that option is not available to you, you need to actually heat the board over 300C so that, hopefully, the bad connection is fixed (mobile repair shops can actually help with that).
As a test: put device in freezer, connect, reset, whatever, then shutdown the watch.
Wait for the watch to reach room temperature (non working state). If it's a hardware bootloop, the watch will not react to any buttons, will not show he charging animation, nothing. Basically black screen.
I also tried removing the battery for 10 seconds, holding any combination of buttons, charging states, screen presses, so simply don't waste time with that.
Every electronic equipment has a failure rate of 0-5%, we just happened to buy those 0 to 5% watches.
From what I understand, it is a design error and some contacts on the circuit board may not make contact...
The Amazfit GTR2 just doesn't work on the touch screen. I only used it for a week .... I restarted in vain, nothing.
Can anyone help me?
