This firmware is flashable, it can flash from any honor version of 7x to return from a roms gsi ah stock emui 8.0.0.
the other month I will put more firmware of different versions

Is this likely to work on a US variant Mate SE? It is my understanding that it is equivalent with Honor 7X, just an extra gb of ram and increased internal storage. Model BND-L34.
I want root, but have been hesitant to proceed without some backup options available. Unlocked boot-loader and couldn't decide which TWRP variant to go with.
Also, does anyone you have a recommended TWRP for an Honor 7X variant on Oreo EMUI 8.0? I've seen a few different options, only one that seems to support encryption?

Let me ask you a possibly dumb question but please don’t ignore.
I have a honor 7X AL10 (Indian variant) bought from India and taken to US. But unfortunately, none of the T mobile 3G or 4G LTE bands are working here even though 3G bands seem to be compatible from their supported bands list. I believe the hardware is capable of receiving all the bands but the other region bands are disabled by the manufacturer in the firmware. If that is a correct assumption, can I flash BND-L21 firmware on my 7x AL10 ?

Keep searching for confirmation before doing this, but I believe you need to do a rebrand in order to get modem to work on other reagion bands.
And if in us it would be probably better to use l24 firmware

my honor 7x bnd l24 is uanable to boot into system. it is stuck at huawei ercovery which doesnt help, if i boot it into recovery it shows system update fails even though i have the firmware. on adb it shows the device name and besides it shows recovery but on my phone it is stuck on 5%.
i cant access it through any of the tools because i keep getting permission denied. i have know idea of what else to do

You did not give much to work with, as far as your devices problem, but check this thread .for help with update stuck at 5%
