Hi,
a colleague of mine lost his P20 Lite and is worried sick that photos and videos might be on the not encrypted sd card.
Are files files on the sd card encrypted? At least the user data? Is it even the default saving location?
Tested on P10 and while having not changed any settings all photos are on the sd card and can be accessed via sd card reader on a pc.
I'd appreciate any input if you would be so kind.
Thanks

Hi,
Is there a way that I can by default set up all sync data, videos and pictures to save automatically to my Micro SD Card?
I would like to leave the USB storage (Internal Memory to Apps)
I have noticed that I can view the data on my micro SD card via the File Manager Application. However when I load the SD card into my PC I cant see all the data on the card what can I do to change this?
Does anyone know if the GS2 will except a 64GB micro SD Card?
Gents,
Got a bit of a strange problem. A few weeks ago I flashed resurrection 3.1.3... so far so good. Yesterday I watched some pictures with my friends. Today ALL my pictures and other jpg. images are gone. Just vanished overnight... Not only from my external SD but also from my internal SD. It's unbelievable!!!
The map structure on my external SD is still intact. Mp3, pdf etc. are still there but everything with extension .jpg is gone. Strangest thing is that the image map of WhatsApp on my internal SD is empty as well. Tried to recover the pics on my external SD with DeCuVa (put SD card in card reader) and for some it worked. Unfortunately all the recovery progs don't recognize the internal phone SD because you don't see 2 removable drives like it used to be with earlier versions but you see the phone device.
Does anyone know with which prog I can clone my internal SD so I can try to recover the pics on my internal SD as well. Or maybe another sollution???
thnx a lot!!!
ciao
Hello,
So I have a problem. I took a photo and was trying to upload it on WhatsApp but my phone would not let me. I checked my Gallery and it said 0 Pictures/Videos. The phone decided to delete (or hide) all my pictures and videos. Now, when I go into my phone's Settings/Storage and USB/SD Card, I can see that there is data worth 3.6GB that is taking space on my SD card but it's not showing up anywhere.
I tried to re-scan my SD card using the "media Re.Scan." app but it didn't work. I have been wracking my brains at it for a couple of days now.
I just want to know if there is any way to force my phone to read the data that is there on my SD card, or to recover those pics and files that are hiding on my SD card. Please note: My phone is not rooted and I formatted the SD card as an internal storage so it only works on my phone. I cannot connect it to my laptop (Macbook). I tried to connect the phone with the USB cable and it does not show up on my laptop at all.
Please help! I need my pics and vids!
Thanks in advance!
hello, whatsapp allows you to save media on the sd card? I found a WhatsApp folder in my SD card, is this normal?
in case, whatsapp does not allow all this .. if I move the whole app in the sd card, then I save the media on the sd card? is it a good practice or do you recommend me anything else?
Basically, my SD Card recently got corrupted. However, the good news is that the files are not lost. I am unable to play the files while on SD Card, however, I am able to move them to Device Storage, and access them.
Also, I am not able to add anything to SD Card.
Now the issue is I have over 4000+ videos and pictures on an application known as Gallery Vault. It consists of a total of 70gb. Therefore, I am unble to remove the file to device storage as I have a very limited device storage.
Can I manage to simply move all the files from Gallery Vault on my SD Card directly to my PC?
