Hey guys,
Tablet was playing up for a while, got it sort of working, I flashed a new rom (not been on the sd card to see if its on there), now device wont turn on, vibrates after I press power and nothing else, windows picks it up, tries to install driver, can access whatever mode it is when you press volume up and power, only when plugged in to laptop though.
It is picked up device manager as "S1 fastboot" I googled it and I've never used it before...
Any help is appreciated I'm guessing a new paperweight

Install official Sony Companion (I think) and follow the instructions to get it back to factory default.

Well I tried to create my own ROM but it's gone all a bit wrong. So what happens now is that when the tablet boots, the back light comes on and that is all I get. When I press the on/off button the back light goes on and off. Another thing I noticed is that when I connect to the PC I can see the SD card and the External SD card mounted as MTS Device.
When I reset the tablet via the little hole on the top (next to the sound buttons) it just seems to switch off and then on again. I tried to switch the device off and try resetting (holding ON button + Volume UP + Volume DOWN) to get to CWM but I can't get into CWM. The back light just comes on.
I also tried to see if I could access the device via the ADB shell, but there is no device found. Which is weird as why does Windows see the device. I am not sure how to proceed. Any help appreciated. I also noticed that Windows (In device manager) sees the device as a Ramos W30HD and has an exclamation mark next to it?
Doesn't anyone have any ideas?

Never mind, I'll sell it now as a bricked device. Sure someone out there can fix it.
Hi guys.
Right now I'm having some issues with my Tablet. It seems to be bricked. I was trying to flashing it and something failed, but now my PC cannot recognize it and when I tried to turn it on or go to recovery mode, it always stays in the Android Logo (Image attached)
What can I do. I was trying to use uberizer or adb but as the tablet is not recognized by my PC, I just don't know what to do.
Thanks for the help you can give me.

What brand is that tablet? Specs on it? Looks identical to mine. I got mine to flash by using livesuit and the faaastjb v2.5. Start livesuit, select your rom image that you choose. Make sure tablet is unplugged from usb, but plugged into charger, and it is off. Hold the volume up button, then plug the usb in (computer and tablet). Press the power button repeatedly until you hear the windows sound when you plug in a usb device. Once you hear this, stop pressing power, and let go of the volume up button. You should hear the sound in windows like its disconnected, then reconnected and then livesuit will ask if you want a complete flash (erase and flash) or upgrade. Then just let it go.
Hopefully this helps you, and if you do have the same tablet as me, I would be very grateful if you would send me a factory dump so I can get proper drivers!
Hey,
I have a problem. My tablet is SGP312 has Cyanogenmod 11 (FXP247 - Android 4.4). It was bricked when I type in Terminal:
Code:
su
reboot recovery
Was turned off and will not turn on at all.
Power button = NOTHING
Power button + Vol(+) 3/10/25 secs = NOTHING
Power button + Vol(-) 3/10/25 secs = NOTHING
Power button + Voll(+) + USB = NOTHING
No LED light, It's literally a paperweight. I can't even put it into Flashmode.
Please help me!

Are you sure u can't put it in to flash mode, because that's the first thing I would do
Try putting it into fast boot mode
Hold volume up button and keep holding it and connect it to the pc
If you see blue light on your tablet, it means it has successfully entered fast boot mode
Make sure all the drivers are installed
Or
Follow the following procedures
Install Sony Ericsson flash tool and install all the drivers
Hold volume down button and keep holding it and connect it to pc
Once you hear the connecting sound our Any notification on your pc saying that it is connected, go ahead and flash the ftf file

in my opinion, the drivers are not correctly installed
http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-tablet-z-sgp311-sgp312-driver/
go to the website and download and load the drivers on your pc
its just weird that it says device connected with Usb debugging off when it is actually powered off
try charging your device, maybe the battery needs to be charged leave it there for atleast 30 mins then try the steps
let us know if you fixed it or not

I have a similar problem, I've flashed plenty of devices before, never briked a thing.
By unloking the bootloader the data partition of my brand new tablet Z went corrupted. I've tried to flash several firmware but none was succesfull (couldn't format data...), and finally it get totally bricked! no light, nothing... I was not even able to put it in flash mode (no light ever!).
I've tried after a while, I've read with some other Xperia devices, it would be possible to recover it after some time, by letting the battery die, then use some rubber trick to keep vol- pressed... you can find it in XDA forums what I'm talking about. However after a month my tablet was still dead. no light, no nothing!
I've sent it to warranty and the just said that "an alternative firmware was flashed" (voiding the warranty) "and has rendered the logic board unusable".... and they have to order a new unit!!
I feel so surprise that even the cheapest chinese tablet have an harware mode that allow to reflash and resuscitate it back to factory... even if the firmware is completely screwed, and a 600$ tablet for a simple bootloader unlock got totaly bricked.
I wonder if there is an "hardware" way to recover the tablet (I saw it's pretty easy to tear down the Xperia tablet Z), by directly accessing the NAND... or by accessing some PIN (well I know sony would have not leaked such information)
I'm currently using a P769 model with JB, and it's never been rooted. I remember the phone was 100% charged when I looked at it three days ago and I didn't use it at all the day after that, but when I tried to use it yesterday it didn't turn on and it hasn't been responding since (I did try to charge it a few times). Actually the exact same thing happened a few months ago but it fixed itself in a few hours, but this time it's been two days and I hope it doesn't mean my phone is completely bricked The main thing is that I want to avoid doing a factory reset if at all possible since I made the mistake of not creating a backup.
I've tried some recovery tools (LG Mobile Support along with third-party) but the problem is that nothing seems to recognize my phone as connected. Weirdly enough, when I plug it in it without the battery, it connects and disconnects continuously (the device manager refreshes itself every 3-4 seconds); I've updated the USB drivers and everything, but nothing seems to work. Not sure what the Recovery Mode key combination is but I'm assuming the phone has to boot first for Recovery Mode to even be accessible anyway, so that's probably out of the question. However I have tried Vol+, power and Vol+, power, home, and nothing happens.
To make the recovery software recognize your phone, you must put it in S/W mode by disconnecting your phone, taking out the battery, reinserting the battery and then, while holding the volume+ button, plugging it into your computer(keep holding volume+ until the screen says S/W just to be safe). At least that's what I always did.
Hmm... I tried that, and nothing happens on my phone, but I get a popup from the system tray on my computer that says "USB device not recognized: The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it" which appears and disappears repeatedly. It appears that no software can recognize the phone as connected at this point. I think it might be a random battery failure but I don't know how to tell D:
The thing is all I really need out of the phone is the contact and app data if possible, which is why I'm so hesitant to do a hard reset :| I read around and I'm assuming what I should do is to flash the bootloader but I'm not sure how to go about doing that since I'm getting zero response from the phone itself.....
UPDATE: Tried a hard reset anyway, but still nothing from the phone. I attempted fastboot, however, I don't know how to make it work since "OMAP4430" does appear under TI Devices in Device Manager plus an "Unknown USB [device failed enumeration something something]" under USB Controllers, but that's it.... nothing appears under Other Devices, which seems to be where the bricked phone should show up. adb doesn't seem to recognize it either.
i have the same problem with my lg p760.
any solutions?
you had a solution for this problem ?
Hello,
This is my first post ever on this forum.
i was planning to upgrade my galaxy 10.1 from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2.
Seemed like something simple reading on your forums and sammobiles.
So i got odin , got the right file, but i never got that far.
connected to the PC, odin detected my tablet, everything ok but tablet was on.( i did not start the loading anything anyways)
I decided to rebooted the tablet holding Power and volume up while connected to the computer.
it went dark , never comes online again.
then i disconnected the device since the loading never got initiated anyways.
I opened the damn thing tried disconnecting battery as suggested on YouTube=NO.
Tried power-up button +volume UP= NO
tried power-up button + volume down= NO.
tried connecting to PC , o.f.c doesn't find it.
so basically the thing simple doesn't power or give any kind of menu.
tried to find on google , you find 78552 threads with opinions and ideas but most common are no use.
who has any ideas or suggestions?
Kind Regards,
Xeno
