Hi everybody, i'm wondering if there is a way to disable the animation that comes just after the bootlogo and display verbose..like in Unix platform by removing "quite splash" from the grub!

I don't think that's possible. That's the part where the bootloader is doing its job
Thanks for the reply! If i can't remove it how can i change it? I only found a guide to change the bootscreen, not the splash animation..

Choose your pic then resize it to 240*320 pixels
save it as "PNG" image with the name (Welcomehead.96)
copy : (Welcomehead.96.png) to Windows folder in your PDA
select YES to replace the existing image...enjoy. ...Bye

you can make your picture too. make it as png. an rename it as Welcomehead.96.png but you have to be sure about the size...
240*320
overwrite it to windows folder.. and finish..

I designed this .png image And I would like to have this as my boot screen
instead of that stock sprint animation..
Any help would be appreciated

I made this post requesting a boot screen but I made it myself after searching for a tool.. I believe the post has to be deleted.

Didn't we call it boot animations on the Moment? Gotta remember some of us are from other less so-phist-a-macated phones. Make allowences for us country cousins

LOL - that's fine. Well what he linkied to is a splash screen creator. There is the splash screen (non moving part- htc logo) and the boot animation ( sprint animation by default)
There weren't both of those on the Moment? (In some other form of course?)
And I misread boot screen for boot animation, but regardless Splash screen! lol
Yeah, we had both. Think we just called em boot screens and boot animations.

Hi im sort of new to this so any help in it would be great cheers. I have rooted my s3 and changed the boot animation and shut down screen with audio but the thing i want to change now would be the splash screen thats before the bootanimation screen. I've tried lookin all over the net but i cant seem to get anywhere with it even if someone could put me on the right road to find myself that would be pretty cool as well as i suppose thats how we learn better cheers guys for any help. my phone is samsung galaxy s3 gt 19300. the way i had to change the bootanimation was to change the samsungani file to bootanimation in system/bin so if that helps cool.

Splash image, is inside the kernel.You have to unpack kernel, change the image, repack the kernel, and you are ready.

Well...first of all you must have an image...if you want modify an image like in this case i advise you to use gimp a simple tool to modify image...if you are determined you can learn how to use it. like me...so...when you have a ready image download Motorola bootlogo creator and select moto E...then click on logo_boot and then click replace...select your image...click on fill if you want a full screen boot logo...and select the orientation: portrait or landscape...the first is for a vertical image the second for a horizontal image...after that on top left click on file and then save as...select an output folder and then the nave of your zip...finish...If i help you click on thank button

In this case i opened gimp and i created a new image 720x425 and then i put inside the second image that you share me...then i saved the new image created...i close without saving the work and i loaded the first image...i take the image that i created and i dragged it over the old logo without covering the text...then i overwrited the old image whit the new image and then i created the flashable logo with Motorola bootlogo creator
