It doesn't seem to be a message from system software. The feature of WLAN+ doesn't work like that.
Check whether you have installed some malicious app. Phone Manager - Virus scan.

Turn off wifi+ in wifi. Haven't noticed any difference in connection.

It is tho
Cz i discovered that when u press okay it will allow wifi scanning in the location settings to improve accuracy
If u press cancel it wont use it
BUT WHY DOES IT APPEAR?
Like u either turn it on or off no need for it to keep asking me

UPDATE
I talked with huawei and they said they are aware of the issue and are already working on fixing it
Hopefully soon ?*

About notification Delay

Hello every one
i make this thread about the notification delay
this bug is common to every huawei phone/honor phone, EMUI 2 or EMUI 3
So after a lot of test, apps, ect ...
i made one discover, and maybe, together, we can found a definitive solution or tell huawei
I installed an app, push notification tester, witch can send you a notification.
Notifications are not specific to an app, but it's android himself that receive the information, and create the notification, you don't have to keep open the app you want to notify you.
The probleme is not about the power gestion app of EMUI, but is a network problem.
When you don't receivre anymore your notification, put the airplane mode, and then put the network again by disabled the airplane mode.
Your notifications arrive.
it's the connection with you provider that is close after the phone gone in deep mode, and don't came back, even if you're usinig an internet bowser.
the real problem, is to keep thant connection, i tried soft that keep thant connection, but without succes
so if anyone got an idea now ...

But still I think these problems are related to excessive power saving "feature" in Huawei phones, Maybe you can try steps in following post and see:

So why we have function ''enable always on mobile data'' ?
Btw mine phone does notifications .. ebay , gmail, ..
The real thing is that ppl has installed apps from store , eg app cleaner , app master or these security
apps which OVERRIDING default phone functions..
Ppl wanst so much save batt. so OBVIOUSLY those app will restrict network in sleep mode.. but they don't aware about this to user..

with le lot of people who have the problem, this is definitly not a user problem.
maybe you're GF have enought notification for the phone to never gone in deep sleep mode.
If you restart you're phone, or the connexion, everything is fine

Yes I noticed that I have restarted phone and I had some updates from store..
Well you need to know that there is time interval set by default..
For example if you install weather widget and you go in options there is VISIBLE option ; ''How would you like to have weather refreshed /updated''
And you can choose 15min. 30min one hour etc.. so that means your app will be synced with server every time set interval ..
But the other apps DOESN'T have option to set your time interval of your likes.. or it is hidden not avail. for user
Different story is with gmail, and ebay as these apps support TWO kind of syncs which is FETCH and PUSH ..
As Fetch is done by interval time .. and Push is forced by app server
Once server (gmail) (ebay) detects you received mail gmail does ''favor for you that will force sync with your linked devices to get your mail on time..
Obviously you can modify this in your device app settings ..
So what we need to do is to check FETCH interval which is set by system and app too find correct file where android drives this syncing (even in desired apps files)
And what I believe it is set by app switching network FETCH interval
You can have it happily ticked in networked apps section but u dont see time interval ..
And I bet there is huge diff. btw mobile data interval vs WiFi..
They do it to save ppls money.. IF they are not on unlimited mobile data...

i tried a lot of thing, but nothing seems to work,
i tired of this problem, i'm going to buy another phone, and never came back to huawei

how can I stop this notification??

I get this daily notification to enable location services so it can update the network time even though I already have the system setting to update network time automatically.
It is coming from the phone as you can see and it still rings and vibrates even though i have them off.
I spent an hour on the phone with huawei today and they said it must be an app requesting the location which doesn't make sense to me as it says it is to update the network time (which I already have on).
I have never had a phone insist I turn on location services with a daily reminder before.
Just turn it on and leave it...it helps with many things that the phone does...maps, third party apps that find cell towers and WiFi hot spots, and of course what time zone you are in.
thanks, but I want to know how to stop the phone from asking me to turn it on every day, I don't want my gps on 24/7
Turn off automatic time and automatic timezone?

Any luck with this? I've got this damn annoying notification popping up every few hours or so too.... Have tried manual date and time adjustment. Also tried unticking all notifications managements within and it still shows up

Same here. On my mate 20 x. I googled this and found this thread.
Any luck?
I'm also experiencing this, I tried the same things as other posters here but still haven't found a way to stop this annoying daily notification. I'm on a Huawei P20 Pro.
Try turning off automatic time zone (whatever it's called in your settings)
Wrong.
I, too, am having this problem (also - as yet - without resolution) on Huawei.
I believe this problem (for me) is BECAUSE I have "automatic update" for Time/Clock turned off, and GPS turned off, BUT Google Services wants it/them turned on (by default). Indeed, I am lead to believe that you cannot remove Google Services from Android, while disabling Google Services is not effective. Love, Fred (not my real name).

Wi-fi scanning continuosly show Problem !

Hi everybody, i keep receiving this annoying pop up with wifi scanning every time i lock my phone even when the wifi is off or on. I turn the scanning off / on from developer mode (kept it in both ways for a while but still the message appears). Location off/ only gps/or high accuracy. Seems that all the commands don't really work.
Please help!
Thanks
I have the same problem! Would be great to get a solution to this. For me, the pop-up only seems to appear when I have Wi-Fi turned off. Whenever the pop-up appears, it minimises the app I'm in, too, which is really annoying because I use Google Maps in my car a lot, and I like to have the Wi-Fi off so the phone doesn't keep trying to connect to Wi-Fi networks that require authentication.
Now its happening the same with me...when wifi is off... It supposed to be an option in the wifi advance settings but...i dont see anything there...that helps...
Have you tried going into settings-security & Privacy-Location services-tap on 3 dots-scan settings and make sure wifi and Bluetooth scanning is off?
Yea, i did that too... Everywhere i could possible know it can be a setting to scan/ locate )... Only thing seems to work for not so many popups is letting wi-fi on all the time ). Good that it has good battery life...
Turning the WiFi + off solved the problem for me.
I have the same problem it's really annoying... And it pops out every once in a while it doesn't matter if you click agree or deny on this message
The only thing that seems to be working it's keep the wifi on... But of course I shouldn't be like that.... Any idea why we have this annoying pop up message?
Found this at Android Central, has to do with incompatibility with latest play store update. If you downgrade play store , then you get popups about Google play services being out of date. Oh well, just keep hitting cancel I guess. Im sure an update to solve will come soon. Lol
Here is what Huawei sent me:
Thank you for contacting Huawei Device USA!
We really appreciate your interest in our devices.
This is caused by incompatibilities between the device and Google Play services of version 12.8.74 or later.
Solution:
It is recommended that you try to solve it in the following three ways:
When pop up, touch CANCEL button.
Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Location services > The three vertical dots > Scan settings, turn off WLAN scanning.
For now, you are advised to go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > More > Show system processes > Google Play services >The three vertical dots > Uninstall updates(This path will not appear until the version is updated).
Feel free to share this information.
Huawei is actively working with the Google development team to provide a final solution. Please stay tuned for updates about this issue.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you, we are working hard to make a connected world and this includes the satisfaction of our valuable customers.

Mate 10 lite here, been receiving this pop-up like mad yesterday. So I was right in thinking that the pop-up was probably caused by Google being Google again.
Hopefully we get a final solution that doesn't involve downgrading Play Services, a component that insists on being up to date.

GPS issue when screen off

Anyone using smarthome devices that are using the geolocation of the phone to be triggered?
I have Phillips hue and Netatmo welcome and cannot see me when coming home except if my screen is opened and also open google maps and update manual my location.
Tried giving access to these apps not to sleep or use battery optimization but still nothing.
Anyone else?
I use a Tado system and I have noticed on the odd occasion it doesn't know I'm home with this phone, though setting the app to be exempt from throttling of data and exempt from power management seems to almost have resolved the issue.
Could you please share how to do that of throttling of data?

Has this been resolved by anyone?
I too have the Tado and it only updates my location when I open Maps and physically click on the blue dot to zoom in on my location or e.g. start navigating.
I've tried all the obvious like disable maps and tado battery optimisation, allow background data and what have you. On the Mate 10 pro this worked flawlessly btw so this has to be m20p related...
Together with the not too good curved screen (letters/graphics falling off), green tint, poor face and fingerprint recognition this is for me a reason to maybe get rid of this phone...
So you have already gone to:-
Battery settings, more battery settings, turn on "stay connected when device sleeps"
I use TADO with Mate20x AL00 and that fixed it for me.
Also make sure you have toggled the app power settings then it should be ok.
Hi, yes, 'stay connected when sleeps' is on.
What app power settings toggle do you mean, under special access, battery optimization?
In the meantime I've put Automate to work (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.llamalab.automate&hl=en) and made this little flow that seems to be a good work around. Starting Tado in the last block is there now only to check if it works, nothing else.
Update: this is a workflow that works really well. Let me know if you want more info.

The flow

When wifi discounnects or turn off, the mobile data turns off automatically too!

So whenever I left wifi area or turn off the wifi soon after the mobile data gets automatically turned off, the icon of it shows not just for specific app.
Even when I turn off the data saver, it doesnt help.
This is very bothersome as I will miss alot of stuff.

Anyone experiencing or heard such problem with Huawei Phone? Need help.
Are you talking about missing notifications?
If you enable Developer Options (settings/system/about phone...then press build number 5 times) then in Developer Options there is an option you can tick to always keep mobile data active. I use it for faster network switching and it doesn't have much of an impact on data use or battery drain.
But if you are talking about missing notifications that might not solve your problem.
You want to remove any apps that need timely notifications from battery optomization in the power settings. Make sure after you choose to manually manage the apps that they are allowed to run at startup and remain running in the background. (All 3 options should be allowed).
If that doesn't solve your problem then you might also need to remove Google Play Services from automatic power management since that service is normally responsible for syncing Android phones.
Huawei has more aggressive power management than most Android phones which provides great battery life but also annoys many people because they can miss important notifications.

No, the entire data just cut off after leaving wifi even thou the mobile data was on prior to leaving the wifi spots or just turning off the wifi. Does that make sense? I have had so many different phone this has never happend to me. I even turn off the data saver mode too.

If I turn that option on in dev mode "always leave the mobile data on" even when the wifi is on (even when wlan is active) does that mean it may sometimes suck up my mobile data while wifi is on, i dont want that.

Ok after tons of digging found the problem. a function i have never seen on previous phones.
basically you go to mobile data setting and go to more and then (wlan/mobile switcher) go in there and thats where the problem is.
I now select switch to mobile data.

I don't see that setting. Does this fix the fact that when you use hotpsot the phone is incapable of any data? I can't use hotspot at the same time as data on the phone itself.
