I can't see the red variant in Flipkart and all videos in YouTube are only either of blue of the black variant.
Has anyone been able to buy the 6-64 red one from mi.com/in?
Wasn't available in first sale. Only Blue and Black variants were there.
I've seen a video of a guy living in Hong Kong, he was able to buy a red one in a local store.

I decided to move from Android (Nexus S) to Nokia with WP
Here, in Bulgaria, we have sim unlocked Lumia 800 for the price of 380 Euro.
But there is just black one.
So, my question is: are there any software or hardware differences between balck and cyan Lumia?

I don't think that's dependent on colour. It's to do with your country/carrier.

Did he just say that? Haha! No difference whatsoever, it's just appearance difference really. Note that if you're going to go for the Cyan version, it does not have a Cyan theme colour (UI accents) that's why I chose black, if you want the other colours, just buy an official rubber case, that pretty much changes your whole phones colour.

This is not a true statement. The Cyan specifically has been behind on getting the update. Some users just started getting it last week. It has nothing to do with country carrier when it comes to unlocked/unbranded devices. Otherwise, importers like me would never get an update from AT&T who doesn't support the phone.
Have the cyan model bought in Sweden about 3-4 weeks ago and it had 11501 already installed.

I've had 3 Cyan 800. I've experienced the Cyan to be last in line for updates. The black in same CV had it long before.

The model, not the colour, everybody's been having different date updates, which Nokia mentioned, within two weeks. I had to manually do the OS update on my black Lumia 800. The firmware update came instantly.

And the "within 2 weeks from Jan. 18th" only applied to first wave Lumia's.
The Lumia's which hit other european markets after the first wave didn't get it till last week, and is probably still rolling out.
Model/CV version, what's the difference? As I said the Black in same model/CV (Country Variant version) got the update before the Cyan.

So isn't that Country/Market/Carrier related rather than colour? Does the colour have a specific ID? I suppose it's just a different colour/case right?
Ok, I see the situation.
Anyway, here in all shops are black. I was thinking for cayan but hope the black one will worth too.

Nokia claims it's based on IMEI. So, Cyan IMEI's are much later than black.
For some reason I can't post a thread in the marketplace so I'm putting it here.

They are difficult to come by in that variant/color. The cyan was not actually released in the US apart from being given out at Microsoft conferences. I got my cyan RM-819 from a Canadian seller (Telus model).

They were only released in black and magenta (from Microsoft). I did find one interesting thing though. The cyan popped on on BestBuys website and says new item!. It is listed as not available but I would keep an eye on it. $300 is a good price.

The Telus model can be unlocked easily but you need an unlock code (costs about 20 dollars). I am using mine on Straight Talk (AT&T) and tethering works perfectly [ I am actually using it right now to type this ]. For your refrence you want product code 059M190 or 059N599.

I contacted Axiom. They ship abroad (at least to Canada). But they are not releasing any until the official release date of Aug 10th.
I was also wondering about the region locking that samsung does. If this is not first started with a sim from that region, won't it fail to work with a foreign sim?

There was no region lock on the S7 Edge that I bought from Dubai, so hopefully there will not be on the Note 7 either. As far as I am aware, there has only been European and USA region lock on Samsung's earlier models.

Do you know if it's coming with a 128gb SD card? Most of the other online places are including that. I was waiting for Axiom to have it in stock because they will ship internationally and include the SD card, but I'm still waiting.
