[Q] Capture Media Files From Browser

Hi,
My goal was to find an android app similar to PC Internet Download Manager.
I have found some good apps that can capture and download streaming media files from the browser.
Some of them require Adobe Flash Player. These apps can download flv, mp3, mp4, etc
The apps in this list has their own integrated browser to be able to capture media files while streaming.
Here is the list:
Media Grabber - Good but has little features.
AVD Download Video Downloader - Great but can't capture every files.
Flash Browser - It's in public beta, so it won't work for all devices, mine included.
Vget - It can only download flash videos and not stream.
Are there any other similar apps that you know? Plugins? Other methods to download streaming files?
Thanks
mpiopGe and
Vget - It can only download flash videos and not stream.

I've been looking for such apps for weeks now. Thanks for the suggestions.
Hi
I was searching the web for same reason and saw this thread.
Tried all mentioned apps, not working for me. But i found "turbo download manager" on google play, that has a feature to download any media contents from web pages.
Hope it's useful for you too. Good luck
Just install AdGuard and make sure the Filtering Log is switched on. Play any content anywhere in any app on your phone and it will probably show you the link. You can then copy the link and open it in a browser and try to download it there. Does not work always though.

Looking for a browser with some specific features

In the last 2-3 days, I tried many browsers but I couldn't find one which has these features:
Able to download videos (from different sites like dailymotion and all these except Youtube (because of legal issues?). I tried Firefox since I use it on my Desktop pc and I thought it would be great to use it on Android too but Firefox Android's downloader (Flash Video Downloader add-on) doesn't work.
Can open videos with an installed app instead of using the browser's player (in my case, MX Player).
Have adblock.
Some features I like the browser to have like:
*From Next Launcher & UC Browser I like the Night mode.
*UC Browser's & Opera's downloader which you can immediately download the video instead of playing it.
Does Dolphin has some kind of downloader or adblock? I knew that you could download youtube videos with it but now you can't. What about the other sites? Can you download videos from there?

There is no one app to solve this. You can use following 3 apps
1) Dolphin browser- It features night mode. Its downloader can download files from sites where stock browser download failed.
But it cannot download videos.
2) VBrowser- It can download videos from any streaming site.
But contains ads.(see next solution)
3) Use Adaway (needs root) to avoid ads.

You can not directly download videos from opera mini. You can use UC Browser. But the best way is to use SnapTube Video Downloader or TubeMate app.

Of course you can. See attached image
I don't recommend the method mentioned in OP though. Because you're going to a different website ( which appears to be 'savefrom.net') by putting 'ss' in front of YouTube link. I'd rather use NewPipe for YouTube downloads because it's free, open source, light on system resources and completely ads free. Tubemate and snaptube are heavily bloated and ads infested.

Snaptube is the best:good::good:
Download YouTube videos by using VidPaw
Try VidPaw. It is a free online video downloader which is compatible with almost all browser. Just insert "paw" behind the word "youtube" in the link address and then you can directly download youtube videos.
Man just use a video download website. I personally use tubegeter(dot)com and I think it'll work on opera mini as well. It's totally free and you can also download entire playlists with it

Links out of Youtube choosing a specific browser

Hi,
So this is not the same question everyone is asking. I'm not wondering how to open YouTube links in the YouTube app instead of the browser, I'm wondering how YouTube handles link from video descriptions.
Example, I use Kiwi Browser & Flynx browser on my phone. If I uninstall Kiwi, YouTube says it cannot open any links. If it's installed (even with Flynx being the default browser) all links open in Kiwi.
I would like for links do open by default in Flynx as it handles better specific all links. For example, play store links will open in the app instead of staying in browser for Kiwi.
I have no idea how YouTube chooses it's browser.
Any ideas ?
