Hi,
yesterday somehow while listening to music using bluetooth headphones I recieved a call and after the call ended, volume of headphones lowered A LOT.
Used devices:
Xiaomi MI A1, android version 8.1.0
Bluetooth headphones Bluedio T6 - there are not any volume control buttons. Volume is managed by broadcasting device.
Problem description: Even though I have bluetooth media volume at 100% in mobile phone, the sound coming out of bluetooth headphones is way too quiet.
How did it happen?: I had headphones connected simultaneously to MI A1 and Win10 PC. I listened to music through Win10. Suddenly I had an incoming call - input switched automatically from Win10 to MI A1. I've accepted that call and switched the output from headphones to earspeaker (switched in MI A1). After closing the call, I continued listening to music from Win10. Later, after I started listening to media from MI A1 I could not get the volume to previous level - it is way too quiet. When connected to Win10, volume is completely OK - so it seems like to be just problem with mobile phone.
Most ridiculous thing is, that if I use the heaphones to have a call and adjust the volume of bluetooth call to maximum it is really loud - how it should be. Same goes for notifications. Basically just media is really quiet even tough having the volume set to maximum.
What I already tried
Factory reset
Unpair/pair
Enable/disable absolute volume
Other version of AVRCP
Other bluetooth headphones - seems ok, but they have their own volume control and I have no idea how they sounded like before, so I canĀ“t be sure if there is difference or not.
Basically nearly same problem was being discussed here (URL should be here, but as a new XDA user I am not allowed to send link - so if you google: "Bluetooth Audio too low... but Notification sounds over bluetooth are loud." it is first link.) but without the conclusion.
Thank you for any responses.

Is anyone else experiencing volume control issues when listening to music on a bluetooth headset. I'm using a Motorola Finiti bluetooth and I have both the volume on the device as well as the earpiece set to the lowest setting and it is still freaking loud. I can't seem to find a means of controlling the music volume because when I take a call I need to actually raise the volume to hear the caller. Any help or ideas???
Ok, quick update. Messing around with the volume on the phone does nothing. The volume cannot be controlled by the phone. It is either on or off from the phone itself and my bluetooth volume on my headset is as low as it can go. Any ideas guys????
I got the Optimus V at the recent Cyber Monday deal at Virgin Mobile - for one major purpose - to use it as an mp3 player for my car. I have not activated the phone, do not plan to, have wifi on it only.
The built-in speaker on it is pretty loud, so I am surprised that the headphone volume is very low. I have to turn my car volume all the way up to max to hear anything (driving highway).
I wonder if LG turned the volume low to prevent people from killing their ear-drums. Is there any solution out there without having to activate the phone and install alternate rom on it? I have turned the volume in settings all the way high, and I have Pandora, and I have set the audio setting to high on Pandora preferences.
Pls. let me know if my objective cannot be achieved without rooting and installing a custom ROM, I would prefer not to activate this phone.
Thanks for any help.
Shameless bump...I have Volume Control+ which does not help at all.
you hear low sound in headphone ?
what are you connecting it to?
Yes, I have a low volume on the headphone too. I connect it to the aux port on the car radio using a regular Stereo Jack. My Car radio is a Pioneer system, which has great sound with other mp3 players.
When I use headphones or earbuds with my phone, the in-call volume is extremely low, even with the volume maximized. Music and media are at normal volume with the headphones, and in-call volume is normal when using the earpiece or loudspeaker. It's just that when I make a call with headphones, I can almost not hear the person on the other end.
I've tried tinkering with every volume setting option, including those in DSP and even tried Volume+ (which unnecessarily boosts media volume to the extreme, but does absolutely nothing for in-call volume). I've also spent hours searching the internet and existing forums for a solution. I found this: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1337357) but unfortunately that only bricked my phone. I'd really love to be able to use earbuds when on a call. Any ideas??
P.S.
I'm running CM11 on a Motorola Defy, if that's important.
I just got my new Pocophone yesterday (MIUI 10.0.6.0) and managed to connect my bluetooth headphones (AKG Y45BT). Audio plays as I'd expect (volume is somewhat limited, I think others have had this issue, but not so much as to bother me - I don't need to make my hearing any worse!) but the volume controls on the headset aren't working. On my previous phones they would control the bluetooth audio volume on the phone but on the Pocophone, no response at all.
It's pretty specific but has anyone else had/solved this issue?
The media volume for my poco F1 is very low and i cant properly hear songs at max volume and even on youtube i have to cup my hands to barely make it audible. I know that the speaker is powerful as the ringtone and music used to play loudly before, how to i increase the output of the speaker?
It happens with me intermittently when i use wired earphones and remove them to use speaker.. I stopped using wired earphones now.. Haven't seen that issue since last month as i am now using only Bluetooth earphones..
