Armoured edition of Poco F1 launching today in Flash Sale in India. But you need to check whether Frequency band will work in Your country or not. I guess Mi's County version mobiles have different frequency band for that country.

Just picked up one Poco F1 8 gb Ram,256 gb int. Kavlar version from Mi.in, it was released on 5th Sept.,2018 at 12:00:00 IST.
Picked it by using flash sale grab trick within one second of sale starting. After 1 second, sale was ended.
Hearty thanks to coders of Flash sale hacking geniuses.
Regards.
I am planing to buy Pocofone but I'm not sure which one to buy. I heard Indian version has hardware issue but its much cheaper.
I want to know which one should I buy that has no issue and works fine. Also which version would be best. any tips for new owner?
Thanks in advance
I have the global edition. You should take the global edition if you have the money for it.
I have a Poco for the less than a week. I bought the global version and it have been working absolutely fine here in Brazil. It has been manufacturered in January/2019 so it's past the problematic batch. I don't know what's the difference between global and indian, but I think it must be worth it.

buy the cheaper, all ROMs here work the same for both
CHECK THE BANDS!
Whichever version you buy, check the bands available in that model. They should match those used in your country. Otherwise it will become a paper-weight.
Pocophone doesn't have a chinese version as the device wasn't released in Mainland China (afaik).
I've been wanting to get this phone for a while and in AliExpress I keep seeing two variants, Indian and EU variant. What is the difference between these two?
Bump
Probably the MIUI version. The EU variant contains Global ROM when sold. I don't know which MIUI version is on the Indian but might be version of Chinese MIUI.
Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
more importantly could be difference of lte bands as well
(I found this when I bought it in AliExpress) the Indian version its assembled on India and doesn't have an FCC approved sticker on the box, it also may have different internal components that are locally available on India. The EU/international version is approved by the FCC and its assembled in China with (probably) higher quality components or at the very least directly overseen by Xiaomi.
Heres the thing I cant seem to find 128GB EU version stock of this phone anywhere. Its out of stock or too expensive wherever I search. Anyone who has recently bought the Indian version can tell me if they are facing any issues?
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro (aka Redmi K20 Pro) goes on pre-order in Europe
According to GsmArena (https://gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_9t_pro_aka_redmi_k20_pro_goes_on_preorder_in_europe-news-38581.php) and many others, the global release (or European model, at least) is in pre order in online seller Belsimpel (https://www.belsimpel.nl/xiaomi-mi-9t-pro/64gb-blauw).
:victory: :victory: :victory:
Lte Bands according GsmArena:
Xiaomi_mi_9t_pro

A few months too late, really strange move from Xiaomi : why didn't they launch it at the same time as the "Mi 9T"?? Plus, rebranding from Redmi to Xiaomi in Europe is a bit strange imho. Do they think we in Europe don't read the worldwide news? Additionally, they won't release the 8/256 version.
Btw, I wonder what will happen to the Mi 9 with a price that close...the real difference is the camera which seems better (to be honest even my Mi 8 takes better pics vs. K20 Pro).
Also I think its a little bit priced.
I'm not sure if I'll buy, long time waiting to be this difference.

You can import it from China (6/64 version) around 315 euros tax free and shipping included, and they're gonna sell it here for 430 euros? It will have a Global ROM for sure, lets see if its the same one as the India ROM (POCO launcher included) or not but still...
Btw i think if Europeans want to wait for a new phone they should wait for the Mi Mix 4. The 3rd was a bit of a flop because specs were too close to the Mi 8 which was great, lighter and cheaper but the Mix 4 specs will be spectacular according to rumors. Wait and see!

Yes but not above 599 euros I think, right? Otherwise Xiaomi will lose this segment to Huawei/ Samsung...

A lot of people doesn't want to import, and also the main problem is the warranty, people prefer to have a local store where they can go if the phone have an issue.
But anyway, for my part I will buy it on Aliexpress soon
If you want to push further the comparison, in the official Xiaomi China store, the 6+128gb is at +-290€
Any idea if we can flash mi 9t pro firmware on K20 pro and keep bootloader locked? Dont think its possible, just wondering.

Xiaomi has already mentioned that if the phone comes with China firmware, it will be locked on China firmware. Only when the bootloader is unlocked it can be flashed to global firmware. This is the same with phones that come with global firmware

Thanks for confirming. Thats a bad policy. As long as the firmware is official, they should allow us to lock bootloader and use find device feature.

You shouldn't be buying phones that weren't meant for your country anyways. Xiaomi wants their chinese phones to be only sold in China and the global variants for outside of China.

As far as I can tell there has been no official launch of the phone, so nothing has been confirmed either way. There was the small announcement last week that it will be available in the Benelux region from the 20th, but it gave no specifics. Since then all we're seeing is the phone suddenly appearing for sale in various European websites. So far there doesn't appear to be any 8GB model being sold anywhere.
Even though the Mi 9 had 8/128 and 8/256 options in China, they were never made available on the global version, so it wouldn't be surprising if it turns out to be the same with this one.
