When I Try To install AOSP 9.0 or Other ROMs like pixel experience pie with DotOs Vendor It Doesn't boot up Is there another way To install this GSIs without Cardinal??? Because it has Some Bugs....
Try boot it without installing gapps and if it boots then reboot to recovery, wipe data again and install gapps.

For me it wasn't booting because my storage was encrypted, you need to format then flash.

Hello,
I'm using from six months or so the Lineage OS rom for my device. Since I changed rom from MIUI to this my phone reboots by itself like 3 times per day. I want to know if there is a solution for this problem except changing rom.
I also have flashed the franco kernel and magisk, if this can give you more necessary informations
Thanks in advance
Flash another rom
don't know why you're using an outdated kernel..use default kernel for best experience

Have you tried this "Go to recovery then after you flashed it, go to "Advanced" then tap on "Terminal". Write "a1to5x" and press Enter. Wait until it finishes. Make proper wipes and reboot."

all works, but voice input replaced the normal keyboard and I can not access in my google account (stock gapps)
I made full wipe, flashed the rom type a1to5x in terminal and then made wipe cache and dalvik cache but when try to flash the gapps an error appears that the gapps doesn't match the rom

Thank you for your great work.
I am not sure that if this rom can work well with this recovery.
If not, would you please port it for Mi5X?

@Aex12, do you have tools to extract payload.bin to system.img?
@alex12 The script is here:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1fB4r68tj7zQKCooyopYux8cQzGPxDKno
comand: ./payload_dumper.py payload.bin
1. Download a Poco rom that you want
2. Open the zip on your PC or mobile
3. Navigate to "META-INF/com/google/android"
4. Open the update-script with a text editor
5. Then remove every line at the beginig that starts with "assert" (they are almost always the first three lines)
6. Save it
7. Flash the ROM and a custom kernel for our device and enjoy it
(optional)
8. Flash this Magisk module to set the right build props for our device

No I don't think this will work.
Mi8 and Poco has almost the same hardware. That's why it works. Oxygen is for OnePlus and it's not similar as Poco.

Has anyone got the OxygenOS Poco Port to work on their Mi 8? I'm currently trying but it's not booting up.
This is what I've done:
-changed the OxygenOS update-script
-wiped data,cache,dalvik + system
-did factory reset
-flashed the rom (prepped OxygenOS)
-flashed Mi8 kernel
-flashed DFE
-flashed the vendor.img you need for OxygenOS
I see the Oxygen boot animation but after 5 mins of trying to boot my Mi 8 resets into recovery
Would really love an OxygenOS port for the Mi 8 so hmu if u got this to work

I've tried to install havoc os 3.1, Aex 7 and ion os 10 for my redmi 5 plus but none of them gets installed. boot loop or no os shows in Orangefox. my orangefox version is 10, Stable.
I always wipe dalvik, data, cache and system before flashing. then I flash latest firmware and then the rom and gapps.
can anyone tell me what is wrong I am doing? how to install android 10 roms? (I am currently in xiaomi.eu rom)
I believe you have to install "TWRP-system-as-root.img" recovery

You need to format data and again reboot to orangefox and then install the rom, reboot and install gapps
Note that it will delete the content of your internal storage.

Phh Treble Quack (Android 10) is available in different flavours: vanilla. floss, gapps, go (see here). I use the gapps version and it is pre-rooted with supersu (not magisk on GSI)
