I bought the phone 3-4 days ago, new, from a trustworthy store, and I had put a tempered glass screen protector immediatly, so I don't know if the problem is caused by the screen itself or the screen protector . Do you guys know what is that? I didn't find anything like that on web.

Hello please which of the following screen protector that are installed in the dryer the better, someone has installed one of these? or that another option exists? thanks
JunLi Screen Protector
Protector for Viewsonic G Tablet-EXiM SPOC
I carry the JunLi on the site, I havent even seen the other one. I can tell you that about 80 people have gotten them from me and I haven't heard anything bad with the exception of one delivered with a crease but that was a shipping error.
Hopefully someone has tried the other to give you another opinion.
If you can get either in matte I would definitely try it. I got my matte one on ebay and love it!
Go with Skinomi!!
I tried the JunLi screen protector and I swear that the screen became unresponsive in the corners and sometimes when you tap on the onscreen keyboard.
Do yourself a favor and get the skinomi screen protector, its not a dry install but once you get it on, you'll never have to change it, its great!! Use the coupon code get25 to get 25% off your order as well!
we have had a couple of discussions about the unresponsiveness in the corners (particularly the right side). I so badly wish I could blame it on the screen protector but I've had issues before I put on on. We tried to think that maybe it was a case doing it but I've recently noticed a few issues during typing where one or two particular letters aren't responding unless I press pretty hard. I'm thinking that it's having drama after it's slept for a while because when I reboot all seems to work normal again (even the issue with the right side launcher bar)
That's my two cents. If I thought the screen protector had something to do with my particular issues I would have pulled it by now. However, the issues that I am having may also be an isolated issue with my tab.
Whatever you do... good luck!
I installed one of the skinomi screen protectors 3 days ago, i was a little concerned about using a wet applied screen protector, as ive never installed a screen protector before in my life, but i took the plunge.
I went out of my way to try and make sure i got no bubbles, but on the second day i notice i had heaps of them, it seems they appeared overnight. But bubbles are supposed to clear after a couple of day, so i decided to wait and see, well sure enough they are clearing, only have one left after 3 days since i installed it. And that one is getting smaller over time, so i expect it to be completely gone in a day or two.
The thing that made me choose this wet one over the dry ones was the healing feature the skinomi screen protector claims to have. I did have scratches when i installed it, two lines, one was about 1 inch in length, well its gone now, so i believe this screen is able to heal.
After 3 days since it was installed, its like the screen is as responsive as before and not noticeable that it has a screen protector at all.
So i recommend the skinomi screen protector.
Thanks for the answers , another question the junli protector is washable?
In the last couple of months I've already bought 2 screen protectors and both of them eventually "failed". I installed the first one and in the SAME day some water droplets fell on the screen and somehow went below the screen protector and created this huge rainbow-ish circle in the middle of the screen. The second one, that I just installed last weekend, had some dust or hair or something like that I suppose under the glass so I tried removing it, just guess what happened. Broken screen protector, so I'm trying to figure out if the problem is me, if I'm just unable to get it right and there's always something under the glass or it is impossible to get 100% right unless you're a machine.
I'd like to know what's your situation guys, what type of screen protector you're using and if you applied it yourself and how's it working for you or if you're still with the default one which was perfectly applied god I wish that lasted longer...
P.S: I've thought about plastic protectors instead of glass ones but if I can't apply a glass screen protector without dust under it I can't even imagine a plastic one.

I applied a Skinomi shortly after receiving my op5. It's been on for almost a full year and still looks as good as it did in the pix I posted here.. Application was extremely easy.
I have Z2 plus and I have broken my screen second time. First time it was only screen broken and phone was working fine but this time phone is completely dead. I have given it to repair shop. Should I buy screen guard or protector or something for extra protection? What is the reasonable price for screen protectors in India?

They don't do very much for protecting the screen, since screen cracks are almost always because of the phone falling sideways causing the frame to dent or in our case, flex and crack the screen. What you should do it, get a silicone/rubber case with ample protection on the sides, it'll help absorb impact force.

If u still want to buy a screen protector , buy the full screen protector from amazon, those are very good. But if u live in a city like Chennai , then u can locally get those for around 40-50 ?
Had the Duo since Friday...love it...or should I say loved it. Got the hang of the software, and for me it was awesome and had fun....UNTIL..I attempted to put the Zagg screen protector on it.. Heard it was horrible installation process, but got the first screen protector out of 4 on perfect...cleaned the second screen, and found the entire screen covered in scratches...thought there was a plastic screen protector on it or something, but couldnt peel anything off. The scratches came out of no where...had it for 3 days, bumper installed day one, no drops, no scuffs...it was treated like a baby...WTF??? Guess its going back...never thought I would have to send it back because its damaging itself opening and closing apparently.
cleaned the screens to install the Zagg glass screen protector I purchased from Best Buy. Cleaned the first screen, no problems and installed the screen protector. Everyone was saying that the Zagg was horrible to install. I installed it perfect on the first screen. Started to prep the second screen on the left...cleaned it with the Zagg supplied wipes, and saw all the scratches on the screen before I installed the screen protector. The scratches were so bad, I thought the DUO came installed with a cheap plastic screen protector...but it doesnt..
the scratches on the left screen is what is concerning. Looks like its from opening and closing the phone, cant think of anything else that would cause it.

Those scratches do not appear to be from opening and closing unless the hinge is (really) wobbly, they look like they are from having some sort of dirt or grit on something and trying to wipe the screen with it.
Might check I saw a reddit of people having issues with the screen shorting out too...I would check on if anyone else is getting scratches too?
Any chance your leaving is folded back?
Have you reached out to MS yet? So far for me they are terrible and take a day plus to answer though social media.
Honestly these have the classic Clean with dirty cloth scratching. Like there was a small piece of sand on the screen or cloth when it was cleaned. Those are not in anyway caused by the screen rubbing, the screen can't do that to itself.
Honestly loved the device but whoever decided to put glass on the front back was a huge mistake. Damn thing fell out of my pocket while sitting in a normal height chair and the whole back is cracked. Very disappointed in how fragile this device is. Dropped my other devices numerous times over the years from standing and never one problem. All this took was one short drop
Sounds like someone has an issue with dropping phones. It's not surprising that if you drop a device this thin that's glass front and back, it might break. Just the luck of the bounce.
I bought the Galaxy Tab S7+ a few months ago and one of the first things I did was to install a tempered glass screen protector. I haven't used the tablet much at all - mostly for trips. Today I turned it on and discovered a hairline fracture in the glass, curving from the one side of the top of the screen to the other. I've never dropped the tablet and always store it in a drawer where nothing else sits on top of it. This is the 5th tablet I've owned and have never cracked a screen before. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it possible that Samsung made the glass a bit too thin in order to keep the weight down?
The battery may have failed, swelled and cracked it. The display may have been prestressed or have been mounted improperly.
More likely the former... or a Ioved one
Children are prime suspects.
