hello friends, recently I bought a motherboard for aliexpress for this model, the problem is that I have 3 original batteries and in the three the mobile detects them as invalid batteries. I have tried to upgrade and refurbish with lg up and in download mode Mobile does not turn off. In the upper part of the tool lg up puts lg-h960ATR, and although it changes from rom stock that does not change, and should not I have seen that (h960ATR) belongs to turquia.but nougat or marshmallow or lollipop gives the same error, while in download mode there is no problem. I have installed the .kdz that correspond to my country but there is no way. Will software or short circuit problem? thanks guys

I have LG G3 Sprint LS990. I changes it's model number and it was working perfectly. But suddenly I flash Galaxy S5 ROM via TWRP recovery and the phone got HARD BRICK. I tried to flash via LG Flash Tool with TOT and DLL file but FLASH TOOL says at 9% Check your model number ( I have model number LG G5 in G3 SPRINT BUT I HAVE DLL AND FIRMWAER OF MODEL L990) ( i HAVE ALREADY EDIT DLL FILE BUT NO LUCK) Still flash tool says check model number. So now what can I do to FIX LG G3 LS990. I think OCTOPUS BOX will fix this. And what you say about FIX it. The phone can only go to DOWNLOAD MODE.
buy a brand new motherboard and put back on
Change the device name in build.prop to Apple (case sensitive) and u can even flash iOS on it. It just works

to unlock my LG K7 to all other providers since I live in europe and this mobile phone was bought in USA (TMOBILE).
Software version was 33011g (or smthn, g was the last character)
LGUP notified me the flashing was COMPLETE, but now my mobile phone wont turn on at all, doesn't respond to power button (or recovery mode), but my laptop plays the usb sound when i plug it in, still no sign it's alive.
Help please.
Couple of questions,
can the phone be saved?
can i restore it to its original firmware without original file (all .kdz's on the forum for K7 have a different character at the end of software build: h, j, k and mine is 33011g.)?
can it be unlocked if the above answers are positive?
Please help, this is an emergency case.
Hello everyone, I'm residing in Korea by the moment... my carrier is olleh (KT)... I used to have an LG G pro 2 from the carrier so had no problem at all. recently I switched to a new G5. the problem now it's the model is F700L (from other carrier) and there are some benefits I get with my carrier (KT) that I can't when the phone doesn't match the same carrier ...
I've been reading and researching about changing the rom to the one from the other carrier, and LGUP throws error when saying: Error F700L > F700K ... I know there won't be any problem doing this because the hardware is the same. And as far as I know there's no possible way to root the phone and unlock the bootloader or install a custom one for later on install the other rom from there... :silly::crying::crying: .... so....
after so many days trying got disappointed and annoyed... gotta ask... is there any other way to flash without confirmation? (with Odin or other?... FlashTools doesn't get to communicate with the device in download mode... and LG Flash.. requires a DLL and can't find it anywhere...) ... or getting inside the phone using ssh (i'm linux user) or other with the help of the adb ... and get to edit the model just to change the freaking L by a K??
The other possible way could be editing the actual KDZ to match the info... I've tried WinHex but LGUP says: Invalid KDZ after the edition.... some other way?

I have bought the H962 before to replace my previous H961n becase of water damage.
and is a bit sad H962 not supporting VoLTE but the H961N supported
Both share the same hardware,it quite questional why H962 not support VoLTE
Then I bought another H961N .
but recently my phone got many problem
It will be shutdown suddently when the power-range from 30%-20%.
of even replace a new battery it doesn't solve such issues
After searching around from google ,
someone said the H961N and H962 can be flashing together without anyproblem
When I follow the instruction below
1.using LG Flash tools
Installing all require Driver, LG Flash tools 2014, official HKG V30A KDZ
When I click on start,the flashing progress will stuck on "Contact the system Adminitrator"
2. Using LGUP software
I have download all the LGUP and HK KDZV30A inside the folder as well
When I run the software it said KDZ file is invaid
Whats wrong with it??

How could I flash the H961N Stock kdz to the H962
I don't want to be rooted or unlocking bootloader because it can dstroy the android pay(GPAY)Function
Recently I replaced my LG V10 motherboard come with Lollipop 5.1.1, then I update to Nougat through LG Bridge. But when it restart to new Nougat OS it cant detect my sim card anymore... Also, the model also changed from H961N to H960A.
Any solution to switch the model back to H961N?? I tried to flash back to Lollipop but now the phone only stuck in download mode.
LG Bridge detected is H961N which is the correct model, while in LGUP is H960A.
Have you seen if the IMEI was modified?
