I have an Amazfit Bip watch for a very short time.
The alarm vibrates only 20 seconds and returns 10 minutes later.
Is it normal that my alarm does not vibrate more than 20 seconds?
I tried to update the firmware with an older version and with a beta but it does not change.
I saw that an Android application can create custom alarms but they need to have the phone next to the watch at the time of waking.
I even started the analysis of the firmware with the help of a Russian forum (except that I have never made assembler and I do not speak a word of Russian) but I quickly gave up!
I have try "Factory reset" but it doesn't change.

Could you tell me if this is the normal behavior of this watch or if I have to send it back?
20s is normal duration. Otherwise it after the battery life.

Does anybody have idea why is that and how to get 20 seconds ?

I've been looking for a countdown watch for HTC Hero 2.1 which can make continuous countdowns. So that for instance i can get notified every 1 min, in i 10 min countdown, so that the phone will beep 10 times.
Haven't had any luck finding anything at the market.

I am really interested in such an app as well. Closest thing I found is the Pocket timer from dotnetideas.com but you can set interval there only in minutes...
My Pace started to baaadly delay notifications It started about 2-3 weeks ago, it's irregular, about 1/3 notifications does not goes in-time. Delay is sometimes 10sec, sometimes 40 seconds or even a few minutes! The most annoying thing is that sometimes I have a call (not notified on Pace), I pickup, end it in 20 seconds, put my mobile on desk and...bam! - notification on Pace pops out. Very annoying.
I did a factory reset after WOS installed, nothing helped. I enabled screen-on if notification arrived on mobile, still no-go. Do you have any idea what's wrong with my setup?
I'm using Huawei Mate 9 EMUI 5 Nougat, Watch App v2.3.0/v2.3.2, Amazfit Pacefied rel 39 (v1.2.51) and WOS 2.6.0.12

Thanks for tips, but unfortunately does not help at all :/ It looks like watch app service is delayed somehow....
Are you sure that Amazfit app is not being killed while it's in background? Some phones have strict settings that would kill non system apps in background to save battery, even disable Bluetooth. Unless the watch has a Bluetooth problem, the culprit is the phone. Can you pair the watch to other phone for tests? Did you change anything on your phone at the time the notifications started to lag?

I'm wondering if my Amazfit GTR (42mm) is not dying/dead
Here are the symptoms on the watch:
- The watch boots, but only displays the following message:
"Please open the App. and select "Check for updates" on the watch device page to continue update.
- After a few seconds the watch reboots, and repeats
==> So it seems the GTR is low on power
Meanwhile, on the Amazfit App
- During the little time the watch is visible, I can see it connected
- There is a red dot in front of "Check for updates"
- If I check it, and select "Update", I get the following message
"Make sure battery level is mode than 10% to update"
==> It's confirmed, the watch is too low on power to update
So I did the logical thing: connect the watch to the charger
- The watch then strongly vibrates for 20s
- It reboots
- And repeats
I have tried letting the watch in its reboot-vibrate cycle for 15 minutes, but nothing changed
==> It seems I can't charge my GTR anymore
Does anybody have any clue?
Is my GTR near-dead?

I received mine today (47mm) and it also showed the message Please open the App. and select "Check for updates" on the watch device page to continue update. On another site, I found that I should remove the GTR from the Amazfit app and add it again, and maybe remove data from the Amazfit app altogether. I was using an Amazfit Bip before, so it made sense to me, and maybe I just needed to delete app data. But just after tapping on the option to remove the GTR from the app, before the app asks for confirmation, the update continued itself and the watch is now working. Battery was at 95%, so it wasn't a battery issue in my case.
Anyway, try removing the watch from the app and then deleting data for the Amazfit app and re-adding the watch again. This should eventually work. I've seen people commenting it can take a few tries before it finally works.
And also, you might need to keep the watch charging for a longer time, if your battery is currently dead. It this doesn't work, then the watch is definitely defective.

I also had a Bip before, and I did try to unpair the GTR completely from the Amazfit App, and pair it again, but I didn't remove data from the App.
I'll give it a try, but I fear the "reboot loop" when charging is not a very good sign (I suppose charging is independent from the App)

Hello there,
Update: I eventually managed to revive my GTR 42, yay !
How I did it:
Short version: "Just keep charging, just keep charging, charging, charging!"
Long version:
- I was in a boot loop "need firmware update - need 10% power to update - reboot during charging"
- Cleaning the contacts on the watch and charger, charging from PC or charger did not change anything
- Eventually, I:
Kept using the charger (a 2.4A one)
Left the watch to charge (with the boot loop) for a few hours
At a certain point, the battery reached enough charge to be able to install the firwmare at last
From then on, everything went back to normal.
So I'm no longer watch-less, I'll be watchful of any future firmware update
PS: During my search for answers, the gearbest support was very helpful and reactive
Okay, so I got this error a few times now and I'm wondering if anyone is facing this issue. Basically, what happens, I get a notification that goes something like this (not exactly):
"Unable to sync data to the device. Please update the app to the latest version and try again"
An icon is also presented, it's a phone that shows a little upward pointing arrow
This is more like a system message on the watch (I can dismiss it on the watch screen) so it's not really a notification from the phone but more like something that the watch sends to the screen internally. Kind of..? I'm not sure about that.
And after that, the screen is stuck. More precisely, the timeout never happens. I can operate the watch, go to the menu, do everything I did before so it does not freeze. But my timeout is set to 7 secs but after that nothing happens. If I press the red button and "close" the watch manually, the screen turns off. But if I get a notification, lift my wrist or turn the screen on with the red button the screen is stuck again in "always-on" mode.
The only thing that solves the issue is a reboot. I had to do this a few times in the past 2 weeks or so and it's super annoying.
Anyone has experience regarding this or has any idea what might be going on? It usually comes out of the blue every single time, the app even says the watch is connected and the icon on the watch is also telling me that the watch is connected...
I have the latest app firmware 1.3.7.16 (no update available), GTR 1. 47mm, bought it like a month ago, no issues so far. Android 10 running latest emui on a Huawei Mate 10 Pro.

I Have the same Bug it Happens very Random sometimes after 2 weeks or 4 Times a day. I have no clou what the problem is the Zepp App and the Watch are Up to Date and the rest works Fine.
Im using a MI 9T Pro with Android 10 and MIUI 12 EU Version.
I wonder that its says something about the App but it works well the Sync the Watchfaces no Problem at all

I contacted amazfit support both via the app and the online support page regarding this. I received a reply fairly quickly in about two days. They told me (and anyone having this issue) to make screenshots/video about the exact behavior and send them so they can look at this issue and possibly fix it in the upcoming updates.
I'm having a T-Rex with firmware 1.4.0.17, the snooze in Alarm does not get activated when 10 minutes is up.
Does anyone know why ?
I bought T rex pro like 2 months ago and its the last month that I have kept the alarm, to my surprise the above said problem is occurring in my watch as well... Did you find the resolution for your problem or its still there... I tried every button but its not going in snooze mode...

How great of a fool are we coz the watch is too smart.. Just after reporting the problem here i got a holiday from my work and was chilling in my bed when my alarm went off in t rex pro... As usual i pressed a random button and it stopped vibrating later wat i observed that as i was still on my bed the alarm went off again (that means snooze works if you are still in your bed) everyday i use to press a random button and start a walk to my work that means it detects that I'm not in my bed anymore... Sooo this was a EUREKA moment for me
