Hello XDA.
I've been looking for a countdown watch for HTC Hero 2.1 which can make continuous countdowns. So that for instance i can get notified every 1 min, in i 10 min countdown, so that the phone will beep 10 times.
Haven't had any luck finding anything at the market.
bump
Any luck in finding it?
I am really interested in such an app as well. Closest thing I found is the Pocket timer from dotnetideas.com but you can set interval there only in minutes...

Is there any sort of program (or setting in WM2003) that acts as a minute minder when using the phone ? Have not been able to locate actual setting in WM2003, but maybe I overlooked (?)
while in a call hold down the green button then look at the screen and count the minutes each time the clock changes lol
try yahoo/google for xda minute minder s/w might have it on somewhere
Try PhoneDashboard from Hudson Mobile. This will track your usage of free/used minutes against your mobile plan/tariff. It is a Today screen plug-in with various reports to show breakdowns. Works well.

Have now written a review of Phone Dashboard - can be found at:

Minute Minder
Thanks for the input.
Actually, I was looking for some sort of program that would "beep" every 50 seconds or so I knew that my phone call was approaching one minutue (my old Samsung had feature like this). TIA
Hello,
I started to use the Stock Alarm of my GS3, but there's no option to unset the automatic snooze that interrupts any song after 1 sharp minute.
I don't mean the repeating snooze of the alarm 3-5 times and time between the repeating, I mean that just the first time the alarm is singing for 1 minute even if the song/mp3 is longer, than again 1 minute if repeating is active.
Note, I have 30 sec screen off, repeating time is 5 minute for 3 times (for instance).
Did you noticed that?
How can we resolve that?
I would have thought that anyone who uses the alarm would be turning it off almost immediately. I do.

Depends if you like to stay some other minutes more in slumber before standing up.
Well, you can turn it off, but at this point there no reason to snooze, you turned off already and you can easily fall in sleep again but this time without the alarm. I don't like :cyclops:

I remember my roomate at uni had a CD player alarm clock. He got drunk one evening and I ended up listening to his entire madness CD. Not complaining about the music but to this day House of Fun still makes me cringe.
Also have you tried other applications for your alarm?

Yeah, I will go for other apps. I already installed them, and I'm testing the best that suites to me.
In the meantime if somebody has a solution or modified apk, I will appreciate.
But it's a pity, I had nothing to complain of the Stock Alarm: very simple, clear and working, already inside the stock, just the maximum 1 minute of singing alarm. Just a programmer's idea, I think.
My Pace started to baaadly delay notifications It started about 2-3 weeks ago, it's irregular, about 1/3 notifications does not goes in-time. Delay is sometimes 10sec, sometimes 40 seconds or even a few minutes! The most annoying thing is that sometimes I have a call (not notified on Pace), I pickup, end it in 20 seconds, put my mobile on desk and...bam! - notification on Pace pops out. Very annoying.
I did a factory reset after WOS installed, nothing helped. I enabled screen-on if notification arrived on mobile, still no-go. Do you have any idea what's wrong with my setup?
I'm using Huawei Mate 9 EMUI 5 Nougat, Watch App v2.3.0/v2.3.2, Amazfit Pacefied rel 39 (v1.2.51) and WOS 2.6.0.12
You've asked for an idea, so: turn off Wi-Fi on your phone, and observe if it gets better.

Thanks for tips, but unfortunately does not help at all :/ It looks like watch app service is delayed somehow....
Are you sure that Amazfit app is not being killed while it's in background? Some phones have strict settings that would kill non system apps in background to save battery, even disable Bluetooth. Unless the watch has a Bluetooth problem, the culprit is the phone. Can you pair the watch to other phone for tests? Did you change anything on your phone at the time the notifications started to lag?
Hello I am facing the same problem. My phone is the Huawei nova with android nougat and emui 5
Hello everyone,
I have an Amazfit Bip watch for a very short time.
The alarm vibrates only 20 seconds and returns 10 minutes later.
Is it normal that my alarm does not vibrate more than 20 seconds?
I tried to update the firmware with an older version and with a beta but it does not change.
I saw that an Android application can create custom alarms but they need to have the phone next to the watch at the time of waking.
I even started the analysis of the firmware with the help of a Russian forum (except that I have never made assembler and I do not speak a word of Russian) but I quickly gave up!
I have try "Factory reset" but it doesn't change.
Thank you for your answers,
Hcks
Could you tell me if this is the normal behavior of this watch or if I have to send it back?
20s is normal duration. Otherwise it after the battery life.
Hi
I have bought this watch specially for this 20 seconds vibration alarm, but I have only 10 seconds.
Does anybody have idea why is that and how to get 20 seconds ?
I have a Pixel 3 with the latest Android 10 update. When I set an alarm to 8:15 am, it goes off at 8:00 am. When I set it to 9:30 am, it goes off at 9:15 am.
This started happening recently and I have no idea what's causing it. The device is not rooted and has no customizations. It is is extremely annoying, not to mention it keeps robbing me off morning sleep time, and I'd like to fix it. Please don't suggest working around the issue by setting my alarm 15 minutes late, because if the bug disappears on its own, then I will be 15 minutes late, so I'd rather figure this out.

It seems to just be a bug within the app. Backup your current data (skipping the alarm data and settings) and try a factory data reset then restore said data

I don't know if it's related to the issue, but the screen also turns luminescent red when the morning alarm goes off. That didn't use to happen. I could have sworn I turn that option on in the settings but can't find that setting anymore.
Edit: I just remembered that setting was in the Bedtime tab, but this is not a Bedtime schedule alarm. This is a regular alarm that repeats 7 days a week, and Bedtime is turned off. Strange that the screen still goes red. For Bedtime alarms, it's supposed to start changing colors 15 minutes before the alarm, but the actual alarm is not supposed to sound off until the designated time.
My solution to this problem was to go back to the old version of the Clock app by uninstalling all updates via the Play store. I don't have the "Bedtime" tab or any other new features anymore, which is not ideal but much better than losing 15 minutes of sleep every morning.
