A guy from Xiaomi.eu named gulp79 have found a Spanish guy who has found a way to put notifications on MI 8 and PocoF1 status bar.
I've tried on my Mi 8 SE and works really good (i'm on Miui 10 Stable with Android 8.1 from Xiaomi.eu), it's a nice workaround until Xiaomi finds an official solution.

It worked also on MI 8 and PocoF1.

- You need to install KWLP on Google Play (i think Pro version is needed).
- Run KWLP Pro, accept permissions and close it.
- Download SuperNotch v1.2 :

This is an old thread. Nowadays xiaomi.eu , miroom and other roms have this feature in settings. I suggest you to try them.

Ya . It was actually due to Pixel Exp Plus ROM doesnt have this feature , and also Pixel cannot unlink ringtone volume with notification volume . I guess im off to other custom ROMs ^^"

Rom has bugs, sudden restarts, full of chinease bloatware , looks nice but needs fix. I was surprised it worked on ZTE Z7Max. Please fix restarts, remove bloatware and please change that chinease keyboard to Gboard or stock AOSP. Thanks

Yes, it has some bugs, and I presenced some restarts. The chinese bloatware thing can be easily fixed by removing those apps using "System App Remover". It works
About the keyboard: You can download Gboard normally, you know

there is no problem about Keyboard, but restarts are really annoying. it would be really nice if somebody with skills could fix these problems and upload this ROM here on XDA or to NEEDROM. Thanks anyway :good:
Update: I created a post on needrom so everyone can easely access it. Thanks @Guffeogco for the mirror. I did one as well, so we can get at least a sub mirror

It's simply a MIUI 8 rom issue, it should be listed in the rom bugs in the thread.

If the rom is still being updated, and newer versions will come, then it should be fixed in next updates, and you said it works in stock nogut, then it's definitely a rom issue.
PS: you should QUOTE my post or mention me in your post by adding @MigoMujahid in your post so that i can get some notification that you posted.

I meant if it's working in stock nogut, then it's a MIUI 8 rom issue.
Everything it's ok for me now !
Before, my installation of twrp and miui, was from marshmallow stock samsung. And, with this way, i have so many errors.
But, with twrp installed on the Nougat stock rom, i don't have any problem, calls working, google apps working too !

Stock is using media_profiles_vendor.xml, not sure if a GSI loads the same File since there are 3 of them. I will try around, thanks for sharing!

Looks like i have to use and edit all of them. Thinks i want to do are:
-4K Front Camera Video recording
-Higher default Picture Quality by less compression
-Higher default Mem Cap for Picture Processing
-Higher Bitrates for Audio and Video Profiles
-Higher default FPS Rates on Video Recording
And maybe more if i find something interesting... The Profile from Tadi is btw. a awesome Thing for Me. I always had to download full System for a few Files. That makes everything more easy. Thanks again for sharing!

PHH Treble AOSP 9 (Vanilla ARM64, NoSU) should be the best Choice
Magisk will come in Stable and Beta (18.1 and 19 right now). Does the Mi 9 has Orange Fox or at least TWRP with working AROMA Support? I have seen Problems with AROMA on the Mi 8 while the Poco F1 can flash the Patch fine (Same Specs and Systems can be used across them). I changed back to AROMA Installers since Magisk Modules are forcing restrictions to the Patch such as Device Security Enhancements and Setup Wizard edits. You can follow Me on GitHub to see what's actually going on.

Note: I'm not dev just sharing to other people can flash and use :
How to install.
1. Wipe everything and flash the ROM
2. Don't reboot the rom format data is must
IDK why format data is must but for me it didn't boot until I format data.
I think these all are or u can follow Eu Instructions how to flash its simple I may have forget few types. Remind me in comments.
If need help flashing this ROM tag me and I will happy to help you flashing the rom and any questions or anything about this ROM simply ask me .

Hi yes multi language group and It's not based On Eu so u can see difference definitely also this rom has few features that Eu doesn't I have already mentioned..

I tested it, everything works, battery is excellent. But I don't like Miui 11 in general because the new animations are just pointless, especially scrolling animation

Yes you can just wipe and try . U may need to format data.

Dear POCO X3 Indian (6000MAH Non-NFC Variant) Users,
I have been looking to enable call recording on my device and finally got a workaround. The process is long and very difficult if you are new to this. Read carefully and do some searching to get them done properly. Here is the procedure step by step:
1. Upgrade to the latest ROM that is to say MIUI 12.0.10. May work with all other MIUI versions.
2. Unlock bootloader.
3. Install custom recovery.
4. Install Magisk to gain root access.
5. Install the Module inside Magisk App from SD card.
6. Set default apps and give all required permissions in settings => apps => manage apps => show all apps/default apps and by finding contacts and dialer, messaging app etc.
Congratulations... You have installed MI Home, Phone, Contacts, and Messaging app. (Enjoy)
Update- 17.05.2021: Now you can get MIUI Launcher also. No need to use debloater. Its included in the module.

Do you use floating window? Scrolling on floating window is not working in Indonesian rom if another overlay is enabled. For gaming i need to use floating window n overlay. 12.0.10 doesn't have this problem. Also the visuals, of miui 12 is better, battery also is better if u uninstall the update of security app.
Moreover, u may restrict background activity of magisk in settings.

Hi, is there a similar module for global version too? Also is there a module with miui dialer and messaging only? I prefer poco launcher over mi launcher the versions they have on telegram groups work for android 10 only and not for 12.0.10 global(android 11)

Updated Answer - I tired the above Magisk Module, found no issues using Google Chrome, Call Recording, Gallery. Only thing missing was Call Blocker.
I am even using POCO Launcher & Call Recording works without any issue.
Using POCO X3 Indian Model (Non NFC)
MIUI Version (For Poco) - MIUI Global 12.0.10 Stable (QJGINXM)
Poco X3 Model - M2007J20CI
Tried installing in Poco X3 non NFC latest version 12.0.2. but it gave bootloop. Hope it will get updated with latest version
