Hi everyone!
Starting from an idea of @pavelboyarov I tried to hack MiuiSystemUI but I failed again and again, so I went to ask @dr4kendroid admin and developer of mi-globe forum which has some experience with statusbar mods and after a few days HE came out with this.
Also thanks to @GalalMoustafa who provided a different version which has both the clock and icons on the left side of the notch.
This mod enable notifications in the statusbar and put them in the left side moving the clock under the notch, so if you flash this the clock WON'T BE VISIBLE anymore.
This mod is NOT working on official global rom, I tested it with pie based xiaomi eu and mi-globe rom and works in both, It should work on every china-based ROM but If you want to test I recommend to keep the full ROM file for a dirty flash in case you break something (or a backup).

How to enable:
1- From TWRP flash the zip file provided (works with both 8.9.20 and .24)
2- Reboot
3- Connect your phone to PC with 'USB debug' enabled, start a CMD and type: "adb shell settings put system status_bar_show_notification_icon 1"
*If you don't want all the icons but just 3 dots skip step 3.
4- Go say thanks to mi-globe dev & enjoy!
If you don't like it you can dirty flash your current rom or the statusbar_disabler.zip . (still good for both .20 and .24)

Hi, I still have miuipro 8.8.31 firmware. Can you try changing the location in my miuisystemui? I tried, the one in the patch header does not work completely on the status bar, then I saw that it was for 8.9.20

If you have saved
MiuiSystemUI.apk
packages.list
packages.xml
then restore them with right permissions.
Otherwise maybe you can dirty reflash your current rom (but i think that /data/system/packages.list and /data/system/packages.xml are not overwritten by a dirty flash)
Btw you can try a dirty reflash of yor current rom, it dosn't harm....

Added disabler to the main post, dirty flash rom should work too.
Is it possible to choose which icons or change icon order? For example if I want only 4 apps to show I have to disable other apps through settings? No other way?

Know Bugs:
- I don't have webtop devices, so can't test it, maybe it not work
- Dure to framebuffer problems,some PC snap tool(like wandoujia/91 PC suite) not work on this rom
- Sometimes torch flashlight not work(sometimes works)
How to flash :
- It works only on GSM phone( not tested on CDMA)
- U should flash this rom on an ICS rom(I mean, your kernel should be 3.X, and your stock rom should be ics)
- Install safetrap or bootstrap to flash this rom( I think boot manager not work on this rom)
- Wipe/Reboot & enjoy it
How to boot into CM bootmenu:
- During power on, when U see the led turns RED, press(NOT press hold, just press again and again) the volum key down
- U can starting press the volum key down when U saw the moto logo if U don't know when to press this key

The first ROM from China is MIUI if you don't know
What about rotation animation? USB and WiFi tethering? Does this work?
why does it contain a boot.img into zip? is it for CM recovery?

It's not BootMenu Manager compatible. U should use bootstrape or safetrape to install it.

Instructions

well, i can try to make it compatible, whats the codename of that z3 dual? if there's a device tree compatible for both models...i could use it.
we have to find that rom wich is compatible with both models and try use the same tree...

I didnt, but I am downloading it now to give it a try.
The model is D6633. I'm not sure why the developres havent figured out yet what goes on with the RIL on the Dual SIM. Since I'm not a developer, can hardly help in this

in steps it states to flash recovery into fota partition...or else use cm kernel/recovery to flash it...doesn't matter till full wipes are done...

bro thanks for bringing another custom rom for us its real nice of you ,but cant detect my sim properly only displayed the carrier name on quick pull settings but on lock screen no sevice and incapability to send text nor call is a drawback.

yes I did flashed it clean with wiping of data,cache,dalvik-cache,and system via twrp. from stock rom 23.0.1.A.5.77 using androplus kernel.

okay i shall reflash the rom again coming from stock firmware luckily i have already created a backup from the stock in case anything goes wrong. I will wipe the data.cache,dalvik-cache,and system before flashing via twrp. I will provide some screenshots this time.

yes it does detect my sim card ony to display my current carrier but none of my contacts are shown on the phone app and cant even sen text message saying that no contacts available.

bro edit your previous post with screenshots and delete them.
My tester has the same as you the D6603 and not having any issue with calling nor texting. try import your contacts from contact app, not from call app.
will do tommorow especially im back on my stock rom. I've had to access my twrp again via command on terminal emulator app.

As I'm not really too familiar with the CM bugs and I suck at searching for those (all the githubs, repos and such are like black magic to me ), is this ROM only missing double tap to wake and loudspeaker?

This rom belongs to @deletescape. I'm just helping him maintain it. I'll try and convey all your messages to him.
I'm proud to present you a ROM that I built together with alexis.bosman (he's not on xda but you can go to the OnePlus Forum to thank him too)
The ROM itself is named Phoenix and is based on the HydrogenOS leaked 6.0.1 Beta. We are trying to make it as clean as possible by removing all kinds of unnecessary files. We made some changes in the build.prop to make the ROM run blazing fast without compromising thebattery life.
So in short, what makes this ROM so special?

==================== First time installation instructions ====================
1. Boot to TWRP and wipe /data /system /cache /dalvik (FULL WIPE)
2. Flash the 'Patch' zip file (will install the new bootloader, firmware, radio and TWRP 3.0 and will then reboot to the new recovery)
3. Flash the ROM zip file
4. Wipe cache & dalvik
5. Flash viper4android if you wish
6. Reboot system & Enjoy!
NOTE: after boot go to settings>accounts and it will ask for your google account

FAQ:
1. Not getting notifications?
Add the app to priority and disable it from doze. If it still doesn't work lock the app in the recent apps by long pressing on the top right edge of the app on recent apps
2. Don't like the bootanimation?
You can just replace the bootanimation.zip in the system media with any bootanimation.zip you want and give it right permissions.
3. Apps fc or says not compatible?
Change your dpi using texdroider_dpi to default dp ie 480.

If I already installed Kingmercian, do I need to install the patch, since I already have the new firmware/boot loader/etc.?
I'll say now that I appreciate your willingness to create a customizable h20s, the mm beta and firmware are incredible right now and I really can't wait to get more control over the interface, especially since I prefer the AOSP design more than h20s.

I'm on Oxygen OS Nougat Beta 1, rooted and after I flashed the zip the lockscreen was ****ed up and the screen turned off and on, had to restore the backup to get it functioning again

With ROM resurection remix I can personalize all ^^ but for battery I come back to stock.

But you have to decrease the size or change the fineness of writing? Because personally size suits me, I like even better when it bigger, by count this font is too wide.

I can't make mods for each and every one here brother. Get lot of reports regarding that big font. So i removed it. Currently porting Hydrogen OS Call Recording feature to Oxigen OS.

I've read the OP and I'm on the official Nougat build which is the Beta 1 and not the leaked intern build.

Are u flashed this on Official OOS 4.0.0 N or Beta 1 ? This is working fine in Official OOS 4.0.0 N
The flash did not work. Now i have no statusbar no wallpaper no lockscreen.
And i did not made any backup. Any work around? I dont want to reset device.

I have miui 10 Eu 8.7.19 and yesterday i see a OTA update to 8.7.26 and i tried to download it but the download do not end (i think internet connection problem that on this place is unstable). This morning i try to update next time but the OTA update say 8.8.9 version but if i try to update say that i have the last version :|

Try to remove cache and try again or download the latest rom and flash it manually in Twrp.

Thank you for your responce, The cache is The file on "root" folder? I see only the old download 8.7.26 with "temp" extension and the md5 file for 8.8.9 but deleted it the problem still here

It's supports the Project Treble roms but I don't have figured it out how to use them on the Mi 8
project treble rom will work ofcourse but the problem is that no one will fix for any encountered bugs specifically for our device oh before i forgot the notch also will be a problem

Dual GPS is not supported by the firmware yet.

No GPS app report the mobile as being using the dual signal.
The accuracy is around 16m for most users (4m at best near China while moving) way far from the theoretical 30cm reported by Xiaomi.
I've tried myself with the Chinese ROM, the beta, the global and the Xiaomi.eu and I can confirm it. It's not supported yet.
