Seconds hand doesn't show in stand-by - Amazfit

Hi,
I have downloaded some watch faces that are supposed to have a (moving) seconds hand in stand-by...but in my case, the seconds hand doesn't show in stand-by. Any clue what could be wrong?
Some background information:
My boot loader is unlocked, and I upgraded to 2.6.2.0 by means of the AmazeRom utility (scripts) from OSX (Mac). The watch is originally a Chinese Pace.
Thanks for any hints / ideas?

You have to enable the feature in watch settings:

Acer DA241HL Smart Display 24"

I'm looking for help with a few Acer DA241HL devices I have. I updated a couple of them to the newest system update which added a "portrait" mode, however since these screens are for desks/tables are therefore are meant to be left in horizontal mode, the Acer devs basically just made a thin resolution to fake the "portrait" effect (i.e. it's like 640x1080 centered in the screen instead of 1080x1920 titled 90 degrees, by default it's 1920x1080).
I want to rollback the firmware, from what I gather, I need to be able to access fastboot on the devices that I didn't update and perform a full backup? Then push that backup to those devices that I want to "rollback"?
My problem is that it's a Smart Display, when I reach the bootloader by doing adb reboot bootloader, the options show up after reboot for about 5 seconds before it shuts down. However, during those 5 seconds, pressing Volume Up/Down on the display only changes the volume up and down for the built-in speakers (the OSD pops up showing volume level), so I have no idea how I can switch options with only the 5 buttons available:
Input (button to switch between HDMI input mode, so you can use it as a 2nd display for your laptop or similar OR switches back to the Android boot)
Options/Menu button (for the OSD, to change brightness, contrast etc.)
Minus button (for Volume down or moving down in options menu)
Plus button (for Volume up or moving up in options menu)
Power button
When I'm in the bootloader, it's difficult to exit it and boot into Android... it seems I have to hold the power button when it's off and keep it held until it powers on then wait ~1-2 minutes while still holding the power button until it turns back off... then it seems to boot into normal Android...
If anyone has one of these devices and knows how to select the options in the bootloader it'll be a great help since I can't access fastboot unless I select it in the options
Anyone?
I guess no one else has this device, I've updated but really need to figure out a way to root the device as Acer introduced "portrait mode" around November but it sets the display as portrait within the horizontal screen (meaning it shows up like a mini centered screen on the larger horizontal view!) and we need it to be back to the old portrait mode which filled the whole screen (it was basically horizontal screen rotated 90 degrees).
Acer (Switzerland) seems to stop resetting devices back to original factory firmware (before October 2013), anyone with an older firmware and details on how I can fix some of the devices (which were updated to newer firmware which adds the 'portrait mode' that breaks things for us...)
Acer da241hl - Broken Portrait Mode After OS Update
Hello all
I have the same problem as the poster above. Originally my Acer da241hl 24" Android All-in-One supported true portrait, if I rotated the display using a rotation locking app. However after applying a 4.21 update the device shows a 'fake' portrait on a landscape screen with the black sides showing.
Does anyone know if it is possible to root this device and load a custom firmware or at least an older version of the firmware? I have tried speaking to Acer support but get nowhere with them unfortunately.
From research it looks like this the Acer bespoke OS patch broke truePortrait - Build 3.1.10-gbd78f6b
....and this version worked:
Core:
3.1.10-gcffd7df
[email protected] #1
Sat Oct 26 01:23:24 CST 2013
Build:
JOP40D.UI1_30F21
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

brick watch - blank display and white spots

Hi all,
I own the pace from roughly dec `17 - Jan `18. the watch has been working more or less properly (with some major GPS height deviation).
I upgraded the watch last week to 2.8 OS and it seems to be working OK.
today, after the shower, the watch all of the sudden showed a dimmed display and after 30-60 min, it became blank and after 1-2 hours 2 white spots appeared on the screen.
the watch is still connected via bluetooth to the app, but no display is shown (only backlight is operational via the power button).
I tried flashing the 2.8 OS (and others) via the ZIP files which contains the automatic batch files and the ROM files, but it is not completing...
can anyone help?

Ticwatch Pro 3 forced go into dimming mode when I turn my arm away or take it down

Hi Guys,
I have the Ticwatch Pro 3 and it's great.
But I have a little problem. I love Always on Display (AOD) and in some situations I also like to set the display not to go into dimming mode via StayLit Wear with the "indefinitely" mode. This also worked great with my Huawei Watch 2, even when I put my arm down on the home screen, even if you can see the time normally. If I set the "indefinitely" mode with the StayLit Wear app on the Ticwatch Pro 3, it works that the Ticwatch Pro 3 always remains active, but only if, for example, I have the settings open or I am in the app selection and if an app is open even if I put my arm down. It also works on the home screen when I have my arm up all the time and look at the clock. But as soon as I'm on the homescreen and I turn my arm away or take it down, the watch always goes into dimming mode, despite the "indefinitely" mode of StayLit Wear.
That could actually only be due to the fact that Mobvoi has specified this in some system file for Wear OS, right?
Can I possibly edit the specific system file, or do something via ADB Shell so that I can set it so that the Ticwatch Pro 3 does not go into dimming mode as soon as I turn the arm away or take it down so that it is only time-controlled again is when the display goes into dimming mode and is not forced to dim when I turn my arm away or take it down?
Possibly for better understanding:
So it works with my Huawei Watch 2.
However, with the Huawei it is also the case that the change to the dimming mode does not happen automatically when I turn my arm away or take it down, but it is purely based on the set time of seconds until the display in the AOD is dimmed.
With the Ticwatch, however, this is set somewhere in such a way that the display not only goes into dimming mode based on the set seconds, but also presumably controlled by a sensor, from a certain angle regardless of the set seconds, immediately goes into dimming mode.
And I want to get rid of the sensor, that the dimming mode is forced and my question is whether someone knows where I can do that.
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I know this is an old thread but did anyone find a solution for this ? I'm left handed so am using Lefty to flip the screen so I can wear it on my right wrist but if hold it too high and vertical it goes to sleep. I have to keep my arm somewhat flat and look over it I can't bring it to my face

Amazfit GTR2 - 1km alert with vibration?!?!

When I go out for running the GTR2 does not vibrate for 1km marks.
During the run the watch shows the always on screen (only time info) and when a new km is completed the normal run activity monitoring screen (duration + distance + pace + HR) pops up, but there is no vibration feedback.
If I move the wrist to show the activity monitoring screen right before the km mark and keep it on then the watch vibrates on the km mark and shows a big info screen with the pace of the last km.
I made a test enabling the 20 minutes on screen menu setting before I start the run to keep showing the activity screen. Then I got vibration + big pace info screen for every km until the 20min on period expired. After that, the watch turned back to only showing the run activity screen without vibration.
I was using Amazfit Pace before and there I always got vibration + summary info for every km.
This is an important feature for runners.
Does anyone know how to setup the GTR2 watch to get the vibration + pace info screen for every km during an entire run?
Thanks in advance!
Here is an update.
I disabled the AOD (always on display) mode and went for a run and then I got the vibration alert + big pace info screen for every km mark.
It doesn't make sense to have to disable AOD every time before running to be able to get the expected km mark alert...

amazfit gts 1 freezes with black screen when trying to change watch face (etc)

Hi everybody,
I am facing a strange situation with my GTS 1 : since my last recharge, my screen stays dark; if I long-press the button, the amazfit logo appears but then it turns black again.
If I plug it to charge, the screen appears and it goes on charging until 100%, then it stays with the screen working for a while, but if I try to change the watch face (or sometimes, also to "find the watch" with the Zepp feature) it goes black again. To make it even worse, sometimes it just goes black and freezes after a while I am wearing it, and the only way to revive it is to plug it to charge again.
I tried to factory reset, to reinstall firmware and resources (with Notify app: Zepp does not detect any update) , and I am starting wondering that the battery could be somehow defective (I bought it two years ago...) - any hint from you experts, or anything I could try to understand what is wrong? Thanks in advance!
