Hello,
I was able to sync my podcasts (to a degree) to the amazfit Pace which allowed me to take my bluetooth headset and watch on runs without the phone. The use of the podcast app also allowed me to increase the play speed of the podcasts and select the specific podcast i wanted listen to.
Guide:
Install the following apk onto the watch using APK installer:
1)fm.player_3.6.0.53-21557_minAPI14(mips,x86)(nodpi)_apkmirror.com *note must be mips*
I tried fm.player_4.1.0.52-23787_minAPI14(mips,x86)(nodpi)_apkmirror.com <-- this version didn't work on my watch.
2)[APP] PaceOn v5.4 - Keep Pace/Stratos screen on, Lock Screen, Quick Switches & more <-- from XDA
Step:
3)Enable Wifi using pace on
4) open FM player
For Sync Function
(use non-google account)
5) On PC - Sign in web base FM player and add podcast into play later
6) on Watch - Sync
Good luck have fun.

I've decided to move away from Google Play Music and return to the old fashioned way to transferring media. However, almost all of my music was uploaded to Google's servers and subsequently deleted from my hard drives to save space. I properly tagged my media before uploading.
Now, AFAIK Google presents three options for retrieving music: direct download from the web (limit to 2 downloads), download the entire library through Music Manager, and the keep offline option from the phone itself. I'd like to avoid option one in case I need to download my collection in an emergency. As for option 2, I keep 200mb + EDM compilations online which I intend to play solely with Play Music, so I don't want to download 100GB just so that I can get the rest of my music that I won't be playing through PM.
As a result, I'm currently working on option 3. I've located the music files just fine, but it turns out that all of the tags are missing. I was under the impression that ID3 tags always stick with the music. If not, where would PM have stored them on the phone and how can I reapply those tags to the corresponding tracks?
*Please let me know if there is a work around to option 2 (or even 1).
Hey XDA-Developers Community!
I've got a Problem regarding the Voice Control Features for Music Playback on Android Wear.
I often use it to quickly start listening to Music of a certain Artist, by saying something like: play [artist].
But when doing this on my Moto 360 it always launches the SoundCloud app and searches for the corresponding Artist there.
However, I want this to be done with Google Play Music or the Music app provided by CM11.
When using Google Now on my Phone (LG G3 running CM11) I can choose which app should be used for Playback and it always uses my Preset.
I have "Music Playback" set to Play Music in the Android Wear Application and reset any default Actions in the app Directory of the Phone Settings.
I hope that someone maybe had the same Issue and/or knows a Way around it.
Greetings from Germany and I wish you all an awesome (hopefully sunny) Sunday!
Hi all,
I have an Android Headunit which is currently using the default music app. I'm looking for another one that has more functions.
When the unit starts up it will generally run the last running app which would normally be the music app. with the music app it will auto start playing again.
I'm basically looking for a decent music app that will auto start when opened. As well one that has album cover and has the random music function option.
I've played around with Tasker to play the music when the app runs but this won't work when the head unit auto starts the app.
Thanks
i think many music apps can do that, when you open the app the music starts, all you need is to set in the setting.
i search for you online, there's 10 best music apps, but i don't know whether i can put the link in the forum. try this:
www dot techsupportalert dot com/content/best-free-music-player-and-organizer-android dot htm
if not, please tell me i will delete it immediately!!
the players i've tried don't seem to have that setting. The last one was Poweramp which seems to only auto start if headphones are plugged in.
I have music files in PC, and I want to keep them there but want to play through my device. I have turned on sharing for these files and almost all apps on my mobile can detect and play these files but these apps act more like file managers/explorers rather than music players i.e they do not have options to play next track, shuffle, etc. So I am in search for an app which is a music player and its source of data is DLNA (or PC sharing, whatever it is scientifically called). Please recommend me one if you know.
