Is there a fitness tracker which works well with the zen 2
It comes with Wellness and Jawbone Up and I think Google Fit already installed. I use Google Fit.

Maybe they have different names for it in different regions. Its called Wellness in the US. It includes their step counter and sleep tracker. It works ok, but if you use 3rd party watch faces, the step counter won't display. I chose Google Fit because it is compatible with 3rd party watch faces and can display your step count on them.

Google Fit will do activity tacking for cycling, running, etc but Strava is my favorite specifically for cycling.

The Zen 2 doesn't have gps built in, so you need your phone for accurate distance tracking.

Same question that :
- Why K9Mail and Aquamail and BlueMail and....
- Why Google Messenger and Handcent SMS
- Why Google Play Music and DoubleTwist and PowerAmp and....
Zen Fit (formerly Wellness) has a sleep tracking feature built-in, whereas that's a 3rd party add on for Google Fit. Otherwise, Google Fit is vastly superior in just about every way. Even though the Zen Fit app now supposedly syncs with Google Fit, it's only one way so it's not a true sync. Zen Fit data now shows up in Google Fit, but Google Fit data doesn't display in Zen Fit. I only use Zen Fit for sleep tracking and just use Google Fit for everything else.
By the way, the update process from Wellness to Zen Fit took 3 days before things finally got straightened out on my ZenWatch 2, and I ended up having to factory reset it to finally get rid of residual Wellness stuff (double icons).

On my watch it is still called Wellness. I don't have the app installed on my phone, so maybe that's why it hasn't updated on my watch
Not a major concern though as I just use Google Fit anyway.

Likewise, I use Google Fit for everything except sleep tracking/monitoring. I installed both on my watch and phone though, simply because there's no way to get it off the watch anyway, so I figured I might as well use it if for nothing else, the sleep tracking function, but also as a verification of the Google Fit data, too (number of steps, etc.). Also, all the Asus watch faces only display Asus Wellness/Asus Fit data, so unless you're using a 3rd party watch face, or unless you're not displaying any fitness widgets on your watch face, you'll need to have Wellness/Asus Fit installed.
I've been searching for a way to install apps/faces to my gear fit 2. I have an iPhone and a Samsung (which is not activated). Is there a war to sync to the Samsung, load apps/faces then sync to the iPhone while keeping them? I've tried, but it keeps making me reset. If not, is there a way to load apps/faces from pc? Thanks guys!
Hello all,
after an update - I can't find the menu "compass" and "setting"!
Do have anybody the same issue or can anybody give me an advice?
Is there a possibility to downgrade to the original firmware?
Where can I find this firmware?
Thank for all you help,
bertunderni
Which FW you're using now?
Have you tried to enable/disable the hidden menu in Mi Fit app?
You can find old FW from apkmirror, search for desired Mi Fit version, extract the FW and flash using Gadgetbridge.
Beware some users reported/encountered flashing issue --> bricked BIP.
It works - many thanks!

Thank you very much for this Solutions - the menu was not hidden, but to recreate the list was the solution!
All menus now appeares again,
Bertunderni
For Italians:
Recreate menu list

There is an option in MiFit app to hide/dehide menus on the watch. Just double click on the one that dissapeared
Missing menu item

Found it. Many thanks for the help - really quick response!
I also got missing screens. Unfortunately my Bip does not like to bind with Mi Fit. I think previous owner missed to unbind the watch....
Which options do I have? I flashed older Firmware with no luck. I'm now on .36 Firmware.
Is there any possibility to get the missing screens back without the Mi Fit App?
Or is there any possibility to force the Bip to bind with Mi Fit?
Thanks in Advance

Have you tried to factory reset from the watch settings?
Hi! I have faced the same problem. Unfortunately Mi Fit couldn't set menu items - kept complaing that it cannot save configuration. Fortunately Notify & Fitness for Amazfit did great job at enabling Settings menu and disabling Alipay!
Same issue here!

But when i edit the menu items in Notify & Fitness, it works while the mi fit app not started, when i start the mi fit-app then the settings menu is hided agin.
I have the same problem. Mi fit don't want to save the order or to disable the aliplay shortcut but Notify & Fitness can do it. But after a while, when i use mi fit, the aliplay shortcut comes back on my Amazfit Bit
I had the same problem, but it seems to be fixed after I dissociate the bip in the mi fit app and did the association again.
I got same issue ... But even after dissociate/unpairing my watch and reconnecting its still complains that its not possible to save order. Also after update my watch is not showing callers name when i get calls :/ before it showed.... Anybody knows how to deal with these problems?
I had to install the previous version of the mi fit app because it was working badly. I see there is and update, anybody tried it? I want to know if it works now
Same issue here. Alipay is present, settings are missing on Bip. When try to change ( hide Alipay and unhide Settings) it in Mi App I get a "can't save" message.
I'm on v.1.1.5.04 and app 3.5.7
Hey, I fixed the issue (sort of) by downloading the previous version of the mi fit app (the previous one to the 28 of december). I found it in apkmirror page. You have to disable the automatic updates in the play store though. Hope it helps.
Ps: the 16/01/19 update still has the same problem so if you want to use mi fit app do what i said early!
I am missing the button settings on the amazfit bip. Changed FW but old one is gone
With the latest update of the MiFit app that was released today the changes of functions luke like settings is working. So I could disable the in my country useless AliPay and enable the Settings.
i just found the first curved screen Gear Fit in a draw... Samsung hasn't updated this device and the apps on the playstore, only one seems to work, phone app. Is there any developer software or apps anywhere. This device is running fine, battery is holding a charge. Would be nice to use it properly
I think all apps still works because they haven't been updated
Hello. I have a problem with Amazfit Verge Lite. After switching on the training, it restarts every few minutes and the training disappears. I have the latest soft. Do you have the same problem? Maybe someone managed to fix it?
And the 2nd topic: maybe someone heard about the software in Polish ??
Greetings.
SebiX.
??
No one use this watch ? Please help
Reset it once.. Mine is working fine
Have you found a solution for the restarts problem? I'm having the same issue. Firmware 1.3.4.20
Found work around
I just receive my Verge Lite last week! After installed Mi Fit and synced it, the Mi Fit automatically updated it to 1.3.4.20 before I start to use it.
So after that, i started to use it... Having the same issue as you... it just shut off alone in the middle of the exercise section, loosing all data.
After some google, including this forum. I found that the firmware version 1.3.2.00 works great. After some time looking for this file I found it and installed in my verge lite using "Notify for Amazfit" app, unistalled Mi Fit (it automatically updates the watch to 1.3.4.20, with no option to skip) and having my Verge Lite working as it should be since that, with the "Notify for Amazfit" app.
Try turning off Auto brightness while doing workout. This might help.
