Hello
I want to flash an os on my phone but the file containing the os is .img . Can someone please tell me how I can do that without TWRP because I had tried to do it with TWRP and it bricked my phone.

Trying to update my device (GR5 KII L33) I downloaded an update.zip file, and added it to the dload folder, but this file did not correspond to my phone, so now it does not turn on and only directs me to the TWRP. I have not found the original software KII L33 and I can not get my phone to turn on, although I have repeatedly installed my backup the phone just go to the TWRP
Please, I would be very grateful if you could help me restore my phone, or share the original file so I can install it, since so far I have not found a solution
If you're wanting to flash stock then there's a guide here.
If you're wanting a custom rom then in TWRP just do a full wipe (factory reset + system) and flash the ROM zip file just like normal.
Don't flash official ROM update zips in TWRP.
Donot flash official emui updates from twrp, as it contains update.app files

FOUND OUT A SOLUTION
- FLASHED boot.img FROM B130 FIRMWARE
- STILL BOOTLOOPED
- FLASHED MAGISK 13.3 WHICH MODIFIES THE BOOT.IMG
- BOOT LOOP AGAIN
-AFTER 4 BOOTLOOPS HUAWAI RESCUE DOING FACTORY RESET

NOW ONLY STUCK BY ENTERING PIN ----> DOESN'T ACCEPT MY PIN
Hello, i've got a similar problem. after trying to flash emui 5.1 supersu.zip the phone bootlooped. after restroring with twrp backup the phone crashed after the "emui-registration/welcome" dialog. tried to flash b130 via twrp and dload method. do you have any ideas? maybe by flashing boot.img? and where can i find the b130 boot.img? Thx!

I extracted it with Huawei Update Extractor from UPDATE.APP provided in this thread "https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/how-to/firmware-honor-9-stf-l09c432-b130-2017-t3649673" (you must extract update.app from firmware and than use huawei update extractor windows app to extract the extracted UPDATE.APP - I only extracted the boot image... phone booted succesful, had to do another hard reset via TWRP coz it didn't accept my (right!) PIN... now works... only fingerprint scanner and navbar buttons does not work... now I only need the BOOT.IMG from my old firmware (B100) and flash via bootloader... I think this will fix the problem....
I do not guarantee this things to work maybe crushing your device even more do it only if you risky
Hello everyone, for my device I did not find root methods, I did not find twrp, then I studied a bit and I managed to port twrp and root it. Now my device have twrp and is rooted!
I managed to change the rom stock and to extract it, now I would like to create, with system extract a zip file to flash with twrp but I can not do it.
Do you have any suggestions or a valid guide to suggest?

Hi everyone!
I just bought a Xiaomi MI 8 with a chinese ROM. I unlocked the bootloader, flashed the Lineage OS 16 rom. I flash installed TWRP via ADB and now trying to flash the gapps. As it's not an img file but rather a zip archive I'm trying to TWRP install it but I can't see the folders I see in windows. It rather just shows me the linux folder structure and I can't locate the gapps installation zip file.
What do I do now? I'm stuck

every time i try too root my phone with magisk or supersu or anything it crash !
i think its because of .img file of twrp !
any one have updated his phone to 10.3.13 ??? please if you are upload your boot.img file and send the link here
How are you trying to install magisk? Just flash magisk.zip in TWRP and that's it.
I can't remember anyone having this issue so it must be something you are doing
