Honor and Huawei ceased to allow bootloader unlocking so yes there is only the 3rd party unlock which has only just come out.
Btw you don't have to pay 30 euros, there is another which costs £16
Checck the p20 pro forum for it.

Hello, so I really want to buy the mini pro but its only available on one network, which i dont want to switch to to be honest. So i was wondering if i was to buy the phone would it be easy to just unlock it and then put in my own sim?

Hi, regarding unlocking your handset there are plenty of places on the internet which will charge you a fee for the unlock code, and then the handset should work just fine with your current sim card. I use FoneFunShop they usually have a quick reliable service and you can pay with paypal and unlock most handsets worldwide.

Hmmm are you guys sure this removes the sim lock aswell??? I was hoping for somethin like this i dont really like those unlock code sites.. And if i really have to they have the Live Walkman on my network but its 170 and the xperia mini is nicer and only 150 on o2
Just be aware that unlocking a phone is almost certainly going to invalidate your warranty.
Also - are you absolutely certain that you can't buy this very popular phone from another source? I'm amazed - it was not made for a servoce provider - it's just a normal SE phone.

Im not sure its worth it tho, they have the Live with Walkman for 170 on my network but i dont really like the shape of the phone, what should i do?

Can i do it myself for free no haha? Cos if i have to pay i have to top up my 3v card and get left with the remaining money stuck having to buy something else i dont want.

there's a mandatory 50 day waiting period regardless of no contract or payoff. I am on sprint. you will be notified when unlock availability. you can call them to get a calendar date of such. 3rd party unlock services will fail until that date.
In my country there is no network sprint and it is required that the network be turned on and how I contact to know it ... thanks my brother .. sorry for bad language

Hello that's incorrect you will need to purchase the full license which is 80 usd before you can use the unlock.
i can unlock these easily .. remotely is a little hard i just did 2 as i typed this message ... but its not free to do so.. money is involved

Totally false, there are services that can unlock the s9+ and any other devices, just do a google search for such services. Why would you even think that, unlock services have worked from day 1 thats why they exist! Just do a google search OP

Funky Huawei offers that service but it's expensive and there have been a lot of complaints that people still haven't received their unlock code weeks after paying.
I don't know of anyone else that currently offers it.

Is anyone having any luck getting one of the recent bootloader unlock codes? I've tried previously with Global Unlocking Solutions, and never received a payment link, tried again yesterday still waiting. I've also PM'd I-IMEI.com on Telegram and no reply.
All I want to do is change my build.prop so that I can enable VoLTE with Telstra and get rich text messages and visual voice like my OG pixel does.

You can no longer unlock bootloader as Huawei stopped releasing codes, some may post sites where they get code from, I personally wouldn't use any site or trust any site as how they can generate a code if official source has stopped.
