Windows does not recognize fastboot drivers - HTC EVO 3D

Hello,
exactly I would like to open my Bootloader followed this guidance https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...bootloader-oeffnen-und-schliessen.384769.html but as soon as I switch to the fastboot in the mobile phone my laptop does not recognize the phone. I downloaded the latest HTC driver and HTC Sync and Java. In the Device Manager it says Unknown Device Code 43 and Windows gets this message USB device was not detected. Before that I did not have any programs or drivers from HTC.
Thx

Windows 7 64x drivers

Hello,
This must be a dumb question because all the guides seem to skip over this part but I'm having trouble installing the Windows 7 drivers. I downloaded the drivers, connected via USB, right clicked on the Android 1.0 in the device manager and updated the drivers. Everything seemed fine. Then I boot into fastboot and get a "Drivers were not installed successfully" pop-up.
I thought maybe I messed up and was supposed to install the drivers while in fastboot rather than while the phone was all the way booted up. So I rebooted the phone, uninstalled the drivers, booted in fastboot and tried to install the drivers while in fastboot. When I try it this way I right click on Android 1.0 in the device manager, go to the update driver option, select my file (there are two files in the driver folder I downloaded, androidusb and htcrndis, I tried them both) and I get an error before it can finish installing the driver. It says:
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error when trying to install it:
HTC Remote NDIS based Device
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
I'm sure it's something simple but I cant figure it out. Thanks for any help.

Windows Phone 7 Driver Install Error

I was installing my Titan2 device on my Windows7 x64 desktop when downlaoding a podcast. It is a AMD system.
When I plugged in the Titan2, the installer started by now I keep gettings an error (!) givign a code 10 driver installation error.
Driver Error for Windows Phone 7 driver (under portable devices in device manager)
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
Every time I plug in my titan2 cable onto the PC, the driver attempts to install but always returns with this error. So basically Zune doesn't see my PC. The error (according to MS) seems to be a driver version issue. I can uninstall the device through the USB (connected devices) Eject Windows 7. It seems it doesn't recognize this is a Titan2. Any suggestions
ms driver
For Windows driver issues no matter which version of Windows or type of connected device, I would normally suggest uninstalling the driver through device manager if you have the original driver or can download it through Windows update, rebooting to be sure all the driver hooks are removed, then plugging your device back in and letting the driver be downloaded and installed fresh.
Good Luck!

HTC Driver for Win8

Im running Win8 on my PC and want to S-OFF with Racoon. But the drivers in the Racoon Websites are not working with Win8
Any help ?
You need to uninstall all existing drivers and software of your phone from your pc.
You also need to disable driver enforcer signature on your pc.
Then boot your phone Into bootloader and select fastboot, connect your phone into your pc and it should appear on your phone as fastboot usb, nothing will appear on your computer because it has no drivers.
You need to go to device manager on your pc and you would see android 1.0(make sure your phone is still connected).
You need to manually install drivers for it which could be found here( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998650 )
After you successfully install it, everything should work fine and your pc should recognize it on adb or fastboot

[Q] ADB driver/composite device problem

Hi there,
I got a really nasty problem here: when I connect my Sony Xperia T to my home computer, the ADB driver will be installed properly. When I connect the same phone to my work computer, Windows just doesn't want to accept the drivers. The following things are equal:
- USB debugging is always on on the phone
- Both computer are running Windows 7 64bit
- On both computers I am pointing the Windows driver installation at the same folder with drivers downloaded from Sony.
The thing that is different is the device ID that Windows reports in the Details dialogue from Device manager:
On the home PC it is:
USB\VID_0FCE&PID_5182&REV_0228&MI_01
USB\VID_0FCE&PID_5182&MI_01
On the other PC where things go wrong it is:
USB\VID_0FCE&PID_5182&REV_0228
USB\VID_0FCE&PID_5182
So it seems Windows is not recognizing the phone as a composite device (MI is it multiplexing identifier?). I double checked that USB debugging is always on and also rebooted Windows.
What could could be causing this strange problem?
Android version is 4.1.2 (original Sony firmware).
Thanks
Tom
You could search for the adb drivers for your phone on Sony's website, maybe they are available there
Sent from my Nexus 4 running Android 4.2.2

This is exactly what I did! Downloaded the adb driver from Sony's website. Installed them on one computer - works. Transferred exactly this driver package to the second computer with a USB Stick.
On the second computer, Windows does not find a matching driver for the same phone in the same driver package.
The reason apparently is that the phone reports a slightly different USB id when connected to the second computer (missing the MI at the end of the ID, see my original post).

[Q] Root problem

Hello,
i have problem with rooting both my phones (HTC Desire X and Huawei Ideos X3). My OS is Win8.1 and when I try to root my HTC, it always stucks on waiting for device when getting token id ... I think it is a driver issue, but i have drivers alredy installed. When i plug my htc in usb, its under android devices - my htc (in device manager), but when getting token id, the phone turns off, boots to fastboot and in device manager its under usbs - windows cannot recognize it. Same for the Ideos - when booted to fastboot, even if I have installed drivers, windows doesnt see it properly. I always plug it in USB 2.0.
I have tried everything. Please help! Thank you.
