Hi *@*,
I like to know exactly how long my gadgets need to charge, so I made this graph.
-charging started at 1% battery left
-WiFi/sync ON, display OFF
-original 5V/2A charger and cable used
Total charging time: 6h 8min, about 18%/h (between 0% and ~80%).
Enjoy!

What amperage is the charger rated for? Has anyone tried charging it with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 charger?

I thought I saw in an article that it looked like Google/Samsung was going to have a pogo charger in box, but pulled it at "the last minute." Don't know if it's true, but a bummer all around that we didn't get one.
Also, this comment: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34249045&postcount=6
thats a long time for a 2amp charger
seems to work with my 1amp note charger though
Has anyone look looked in the sysfs to get a better idea of how much power the tablet is actually drawing from the charger? I know the charger is 5v/2a but what is the tablet actually reporting. It is possible that the tablet is incorrectly identifying the charger and only allowing ~1a. It wouldn't be the first time this has happened.
Iam very happy with micro usb charging.
+ >4 chargers at home (not easy to find the right ones, but galaxy note charger has enough power)
+ battery life increases (slow charging)
i dont need the pogo charger for charging - but its good to have a dock connector
Mine took forever also. Goodness

The Note 2 charger is 2 amp so it should charge just as quick
I was around 8% or so, and then I left my N10 to charge overnight (5-6 hours) from the wall charger. Woke up to it fully charged
Had WiFi enabled, sync on, and Asphalt 7 downloading in the background.
I was at 37% at 1:30am, woke up at 7am and it was only at 61%. Given, this was using a staples brand dual USB wall port with my GSIII plugged in as well. I certainly hope they release a pogo charger soon.

or a current app/widge that works?
i have one for my Note, but wont work on the Nexus 10
so if i get an apple charger or equiivalent from Ebay, the ones with 12W rating 2-2.4A will it chargee my N10 faster than the stock one? im guessing not by much. currently its taking 6-7 hours to charge. and if i forget to charge it over night, then kinda useless next day.
If anyone is looking for an alternative USB to AC charger, get the one from the HP touchpad. It's one of the best ones out, topping garbage like the apple one.

the tablet wont charge at a higher amp than its designed to,not sure what amount is, but probably is 2amp
and yeah i forgot last night, so im slave to the charger today
my asus infinity that im selling on ebay now because of this, took 2.2 hours from 0 to full
My iPad 3 takes 7.5 hours to charge from 0% to 100%. So this sounds pretty similar.

5or6hours isn't a very good nights sleep.
9000mah battery, 2000ma charger, a little amperage falloff when its mostly full which you can see in the graph... It should take ~5 hours.

So let me ask you 'what do you do nwhen you doing something on the tablet and its dies on you plug it in and wait 8 hours to charge it ?
What if it's in the middle of the day ? Not using it for 8 hours ? So than what's the point having it. ??
Its %#$%& ANOYING. !!
We need a pogo charger ASAP. !!
I found a thread on XDA which told me to download Galaxy Charging Current to check how much MAH I get when charging my phone.. So I have tried charging the phone with the ORIGINAL S 3 charger and the current_max I get is 600 .. Should this not be some were near 900 or 1000? I had a SONY charger and USB cable I used 2 previously use to charge the S 3 which charged the phone VERY quickly however I had to sell the SONY phone so gave the Charger away as well.
I have tried using a Galaxy S 4 charger to charge the phone and I see a massive difference in the speed it charges.
Result:
Galaxy S 4 charger ..... The phone went up 4% in 2.5 - 3 minutes (Not my charger so cant keep using it)
Galaxy S 3 charger ..... The phone went up 1% in 3 minutes
Should I just buy a S 4 charger for the S 3? The charging speed is sooo much better than the original s3 charger?
Someone please reply!!
Thank You.
Should indeed be around 1000mA, but it does tail off towards the end of charging. No need to buy an S4 charger just a half decent branded wall charger rated at least 1000mA should be fine.

The reason I am saying I would buy a S 4 charger is because I have already tried it with the phone and it charges it fast. Also I heard the S 4 charger is rated at 2.0 amps therefore I am just best of buying it.. At a price of £5.45 from Ebay.. It cant go wrong than that?
1 more question... Currently I have the original battery in my S 3 .. Is it worth buying a 6000MAH battery for the S 3 and how long will it last with a little use of Facebook and You Tube?
Thank You!!

Hi,
Thank You for your reply and sorry for the late reply. I have checked the price for the GENUINE S 3 charger and it costs around £6 and the S 4 2 AMP charger cost some were around £6.19. Therefore compared to buying a 1.0 AMP I would rather buy a 2 AMP charger. I have already tried a S 4 Charger on my S 3 and it did charge the phone very quickly whereas the GENUINE S 3 charger I have takes more than a minute to do 1% which is just unacceptable. I know its not the phone as I have tried the S 4 charger and it did charge it quickly.
I am thinking to buy a bigger battery for the S 3 while I am at it as the stock 2100 MAH battery does not last that long.. On Ebay I see 6000 MAH battery's and one 7000 MAH.. Which should last a lot longer..
Thank You!!!
Hi , I want to disable the fast charging of lg v10 , I looked at the setting ...but There are no option to toggle charge between fast and normal ....please help
Sent from my LG-H960 using Tapatalk
Use another charger other than LGs. I use my old HTC charger for example.
Sent from my LG-H901 using Tapatalk
there's no way to disable that if you use the original charger of V10, they are rated to charge as fast as they can...you need to use another charger, i recomend you use a 5V 700mah max amperage and if you dont bother to turn off your device after plug it because your battery will get a good calibration and last a little bit longer, for sure a full charge with 700mah charger take almost 3:30 hours but it will make difference, trust me, i do the same with mine at least 1 time per week.

you should use at least a normal 2A charger. As you for sure know amps a drawn by the device connected to the charger and the V10 pulls up to 1.5A if the battery is lower than 30-40%. Using a 700mA charger might kill your charger after some time.

kill the charger?! what are you talking about?!!! i use 5V 700mah charger 1 time per week since i brought my device back in july and until today i put it in charge with zero battery and until today nothing of that you saying happening...is bull****, slow charging is better way to keep your battery healthy for long time, fast charger deteriorate battery's faster...
trust me, slow charging dont kill charger or the battery, i do this since 2013, i do this with LG 4X HD, LG G2, LG G3, G Flex2 and now with V10 and nothing have happen to my devices, i know what i'm doing, i am electronic technician and i know what i do.
To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
last week i bought a Redmi 5 Plus 4gb/ 64gb Global then i tried to test charge time and quick charge.. 3-4 times with a qualcomm QC 3.0 charger and another QC 2.0 charger.. The results are similar: all about 2 hour.. the charge time with Xiaomi's own 2A Charger it take about 2 and half hour. i know its good but not so good.. By the way i notice that when test with QC3.0 charger it can not charge with 12V.. (i used a usb tester to see voltage and Current) i just saw 9.30v as max voltage. its behave look like QC2.0 not QC3.0
Snapdragon 625 should be support QC3.0 isnt it?
Are there anyone test quick charge?
I have a QC 2.0 charger,takes about 2 hour to fully charge my R5 phone... don't have tester to measure voltage,but phone doesn't heats up,its around 28 C when charging.Charger does
all my qc3.0 tests take 2 hours too. i see my qc 3.0 charger work as qc 2.0 charger. maybe my charger not work as qc 3.0 maybe our phone not support qc 3.0 we will see... i will buy a new qc 3.0 charger and i will test it again then i share the results here too.
using moto g4 plus turbo charger . charging speed 2600+mah . takes approx 1 n half hr.

I think it has QC 2.0 instead of 3.0

welll my new charger delivered me from china, so i tested it a few times. its better than my qc2.0 charger and my other qc3 car charger ( i think its not qc3.0 its just qc2.0 ) My new charger is not as good as expected.. charge time is an hour and 45 minutes. .. its mean 15 min better than qc.2.0 ... i saw 10.1v and 1,35 amp on my usb tester, it could be 12v... Anyway we can see that the phone supports qc 3.0 but not at all its need powerfull and good qualty QC3.0 charger, so if you want to buy a QC3 charger i I recommend that you need to research well.

PLease help! I am facing some battery calibration issues. The phone hardly charges up to 100% no matter how long you charge it. It just gets stuck at 96% or 97% and then the phone goes off at 19% on usage. I have tried different calibration apps to no avail. I even did a clean flash using the miflash tool, still no luck. You are not alone. R5 plus and some another xiaomi device, sometimes we see this problem. And there is no software solution. Wipe, mi flash, battery calibrationi root... I tried everything but no luck.
Only solution is;
Remove the back cover (i did it, its not so difficult.)
Remove the battery connector plug
Wait a few seconds
Plug it back.
Thats done. Problem solved.

Have the Galaxy s 20 ultra. Have a Samsung 15 watt wireless charger with fast charge 2.0. are there any other 15 watt wireless chargers on the market that actually work at the same speed? I have others labeled 15 watt that really deliver a lesser wattage consistent with fast charge 1.0
May I have a look this charger?
No. All 15W chargers other than Samsung genuine will deliver 7.5W
I thought they made a 45w charger or is that only for the S20 Ultra
Anker makes one that will do 10w for the s20's, and some 3rd party off brands make claims they will do 10w but id be skeptical.
I cruised Amazon for about an hour and didn't see any that state they will do 15w for Samsung phones. There are 15w ones but will only do that for Huawei and LG.

Thank you! Well I have the exact model (2503) but it doesnt work for me. I mean, if i connect it to the usb pc port (so 5W) or to the Samsung A51 power adapter (which is certified for fast charging) it takes the same exact time to charge, and of course if i connect it to the A51 charger it says rapid wireless charge on the android notification bar (while if i connect it to the pc it doesnt).
I opened a thread here yesterday: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s20/help/slow-wireless-charge-s20-ultra-t4145659
Do you have any idea why it happens? Yesterday it took me 2 hours 15 minutes to go from 68% to 100%, thats like 6 hours half for 0-100% cycle, which is about the same time it usually takes when i connect the wireless pad to the PC usb port. I really dont understand why it always works at 5W (even tho android says its rapid wireless). Thanks a lot...
