Dear Sirs!
I have read the similar topics, but it does not apply, since people at least get 2G data.
My carrier uses 900 Mhz (only) for their 3G - is there any way at all to make that work on the Omate smartwatch?
Their Edge is also on 900 or 850 Mhz, and even that is not working (no E icon shows ever, with full signal).
When I tap the option Access Point Names I only get blank screen.
My watch is the new EU edition, I only got it now, but without data it is useless
I would really appreciate some help!
Kind regards.
One part solved...
Apparently the blank screen for APN was hiding the menu accessible only with swiping.
So now I do have the Edge connection.
I still wonder - is there any app or a way to enable 3G via 900mhz on this watch?
I am still non-rooted btw.
Is there any menu that allows us to force band 12 LTE connectivity?
On the Samsung devices *#2263# allowed selecting of the band.
Also, I assume the Z4 does not have VoLTE? When making a call it drops to hspa wcdma etc. Same as when it receives a call. Or it's not provisioned by T mobile due to e911 etc that I've read.
On T mobile.
Cheers.

Hello, i want to ask if Mi A3 is having Dual 4G Mode i.e. if i am on call usi g SIM1 can data automatically switch to SIM2 for that duration? I remember having this feature in MiUi phones, but here i am unable to find any such option
I found a way to lock LTE bands without Root in Redmi K20 miui 12 android 10. As Jio support 3 band in India i.e Band 5 (850 MHz), Band 3 (1800 MHz) and Band 40 (2300 MHz)
Best coverage: Band 5 > Band 3 > Band 40
Best speed: Band 40 > Band 3 > Band 5
Procedure to Lock Band 40 :-
1. Download QuickShortcutMaker
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sika524.android.quickshortcut
2. Search Band and select set radio band mode
3. Choose LTE B40 and Turn on selection
This will result in Higher speed at the cost of less coverage

Note : This is Temporary way to lock, it will reset with device restart/airplane toggle . You need root to permanently lock bands. ?
I use Xiaomi Red mi note 7. I applied this method. But when I select the band 1 the phone run with band 1 takes up to 30 seconds then change itself immidately band 7. With Band 1 I get 70 mbits download but Band 7 I get only 5 mbits :/
Tried this on my Mi 9T Pro and it doesn't create a shortcut for the Radio Bands. It just closes the app and no shortcuts appear on my app drawer.

Click to collapse
Check if you selected preferred band 1, or
band 1. It appears both options in the menu.

I also face the same issue, you can do try run option every time. Shortcut making is not working in my android 10 but I can directly run the command from that app.
Carrier aggregation won't work if we do this. Means 4g+ won't work
Thanks this solve my network probs
Miui 12
Its works only for sec and change itself automatically either choosing preferred band or band alone
But on mtk processor its works exactly what we do
My radio settings were under phone services > set radio band mode. Just need a root for headunit ownice K7
Finger crossed for head unit owners out there who run android head units
I got this oppo and 5G not working (not even an option to select in sim options), i tried 3 different sims, no 5G.
I have the Vivo X Fold and 5G working great.
What can be the reason?
Look for Force LTE in the Play Store, open and select Method 2, then for your band selection scroll to the bands starting with NR.
I don't believe the changes stick after a reboot and I'm not sure we will get 5G speeds but since I have Mint (T-Mobile towers), I selected a band package with NR/LTE/GSM in it. So far I've learned NR=5G, LTE=4G, GSM=2G and I need GSM band for my calls to come through. There are many bands to choose from so play around with it but this was the ONLY way I was able to get 5G to show up in the notification bar on this phone.
Hope this helps!
I've noticed that 5ghz Wi-Fi networks are not detected on my find n no matter what I do. Only 2.4ghz networks show up. Is that normal?
