I've noticed the phone audibly clicks when a video in a social media app like Twitter or facebook starts to autoplay.
Phone is on silent/vibrate. Media volume is off too but still clicks.
Issue seems to be intermittent too.
It only clicks when you have moved on a screen where a video has started playing, i.e after scrolling through some images and then come across the video that starts autoplaying. If you go from one playing video, scroll down and the next one auto plays as the other video stops it doesn't click. It's really distracting but very feint at the same time. Anyone else noticed this?

Yes I've noticed it too. When scrolling through videos that auto play, namely Instagram. And mine is also intermittent. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Supposedly fixed with update .122
Good.
Would be even better if LG released notes indicating all buz fixes with 122 to help us, you know, their customers...

Hey guys,
Got my Prime 3 days ago, everything is working as expected (Amazing product) except one slight problem.
I've been trying to watch embedded video in the stock browser and I seem to be having issues. I'm using stock browser, with the latest flash player installed.
When I get to the video, the screen shows blank and I see in both screen sides a 1 centimeter of distorted colors, which seems to be part of the video itself, but not organized. In full screen view I just see it blank.
When I refresh sometime I actually see the video frozen on some image.
I refresh, switch quality for dozens of times before I get a normal video.
Could someone test the following streaming website for me? mobafire.com/streams (It's League Of Legends game streaming)
(I'm showing as a new user so I couldn't get the link itself posted yet, just add www in the beginning please)
Just choose any stream there, there are around 10 always.
I want to understand if it's only happening on my prime.
Thanks in advance.
Guy?
Anyone encountered this behavior? Could anyone take a minute or two to test the video I mentioned above on his prime?
yes this week end i would watch live soccer on a website with flashplayer
the video was very laggy no possible to pu on full screen the screen was blank
adobe flashplayer was not very good on ics
Also experienced this on both stock browser and Dolphin HD.
One thing I've noticed is that if the page has just one embedded video, no problemo. Plays perfect. Also, don't try to zoom in on the video until after the video starts playing.
But when you have more than one embedded video, it has serious audio sync and loading issues. Oh and trying to full-screen from anything BUT the youtube app will give you terrible results.
I'll give it a shot to try and wait until the stream already starts playing before I fullscreen, but I doubt if it will change anything...
No I don't mean fullscreen, I mean zoom. Fullscreen will always fail miserably. Zoom, yannow, screen-pinching, can get you pretty close to fullscreen.
I see, I'll give it a shot thanks
Can someone that has all video working correctly give the streaming above a shot? I'm particularly interested to know how long, if any it takes you to get a normally working stream.
I have problems watching embedded youtube videos on the stock ICS browser. My experience... If I click play on the video, only the sound plays and the video doesn't appear. If I refresh the browser page, it always seems to work the second go around with no issue.
Not sure why it doesn't load correctly the first time around.
Is anyone else noticing a popping or like a hesitation electronic sound like its slowly starting at the beginning of a video when it is played? It has to be a facebook uploaded video, not a youtube link or vimeo link. I have noticed that with Beats audio on or off, it still does it. Appears to be on this app only.
Hi xda!
I have a weird question that i haven't been able to find the answer for so I thought I'd ask here. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, SM-925V, android version 5.0.2, rooted with stock rom. I have had this phone for at least 2 months and this problem just started happening:
My phone randomly pauses video and audio for no reason. For example I was watching Netflix last night in bed with nothing touching the screen. The phone's just sitting there and pauses playback. This is not a streaming issue,
This is what I've figured out so far:
1) I didn't touch the edges to accidently pause playback. The phone was just sitting there with nothing around its edges. Also, since it pauses audio playback while the screen is off, it can't be that
2) It's not a streaming issue, since it also has the same effect with locally stored videos and audio, like MX Player, and it also pauses audio playback on Mort Audio Book Player and Play Music when the screen is off.
3) The only apps I recently installed were Reddit and Imgur apps, can't see how they'd cause a conflict. I have also not updated my phone after which it would have started causing these errors.
Does anyone have any ideas?

You could perform a bug report and a log cat. Both of those could give you clues as to what could be going on. Just make sure you don't share the bug report.
Hello everyone, i've had a s9+ for 5 months now maybe more. And just recently about two weeks ago i've started having this strange problem where videos in apps stutter because of sound. Example, when i open up Instagram and go onto stories, and play a story which is a video you see the video hiccup/stutter for like a millisecond or a second like it stucks and unstucks in that instant and it doesn't happen for the rest of the video, and it's very annoying. Same thing happends in all apps that play videos. Also scrolling is stuttery while sound is coming from the apps. Turned off sound to check if the problem is still there, and it's gone, the second i turn on sound on the video again and the hiccup/stutter is there.
I've done Factory ressets x2, Deleted cache partition, played with sound settings nothing works.
P.S The stutter only happens in the beggining of the videos, and when sound is turned on and off.
When using some apps on the second screen to watch videos while trying to do other things on the main screen or vice versa....if you touch the screen not playing the video, it pauses the video playing on the other screen....which makes multi tasking useless.
I just got it a few days ago so I haven't tested all my apps but it does this with HBO Max and Google news playing a video so far.
The other thing is, is it possible to stretch a video to fill the screen instead of having it in a tiny rectangle?
Thanks

I'm able to pinch zoom on Netflix to fill up the screen.
I'm having the same problem. It was only with hbo max, the second screen would stop playing she using the main screen. Now it's doing it to all videos and it used to not. Idk what has changed but idk how to fix it.
Same problem here. I'm suspecting new update broke the features. Can't chat in discord and watch Netflix at the same time....
I remember one reviewer mentioning this happening with apps in general, especially games. I.e. If playing a game that requires you to wait for actions to complete, switching to the other screen to work while you waited would pause the game on the non-active screen.
