Is anyone else noticing a popping or like a hesitation electronic sound like its slowly starting at the beginning of a video when it is played? It has to be a facebook uploaded video, not a youtube link or vimeo link. I have noticed that with Beats audio on or off, it still does it. Appears to be on this app only.

I've had two videos randomly lose sound this last week recording video clips. They both DID work with sound at first, and when I played them back/uploaded on youtube they mysteriously lost sound on the phone and youtube - I can't quite figure out what it could be. It has a 'pop' sound at the beginning of the video like it wants to play the sound, but doesn't. I've test uploaded some videos to youtube and can't reproduce it. I've recorded many videos and it seems to be random...
Thoughts?

Are you covering up the mics when you record? Remember, there are two.
I've found that taking a video that's been recorded with my phone and uploading it to youtube results in a garbled mess of audio but the video is fine.
It seems to do this from a direct upload or saving the 3gp and uploading it to youtube from the PC.
The audio sounds like a voice scrambler on a walkie talkie (if you've ever heard/used one)
I've uploaded videos in the past when I had KaosFroyo, but GSB didn't seem to work.
I'm guessing Youtube doesn't like the audio codec being used?
I recently tried posting a video to YouTube that was taken from the standard camera app on my Eris. When posted to YouTube, the audio codec is messed up. Normal speech comes out massively garbled and then the audio cuts out about a minute in. I converted the 3gp file to an avi on my PC but it comes out tilted 90 degrees when I do that. Does anybody know of a way of sharing a video to youtube and have the audio work properly?
I had the same problem. The only thing i found that fixes it was to just delete the video and upload it again. might take a couple times to fix though. somebody might have the issue solved.....i usually upload through my gallery and not the youtube app, i dont have any problems when uploading from there
I did the exact same things. I even took the file down to my PC and uploaded it from there. It seems like YouTube is not supporting the file format. It plays fine on the phone and plays fine on my PC using quicktime. I uploaded the original video several times and another one and the problem kept happening. I'm also uploading from the gallery by clicking share>YouTube. Any other ideas>
ok here is what i have found out. with my stock video recorder - the sounds comes in for split second then the video just stays on a single frame and doesnt move but the video bar on bottom shows its playing. So then i tried with the Miui camera app i have installed - it plays the video just perfect BUT with no sound. Right now im looking into apps on the market to replace the stock camcorder, found one but it forcloses on me after recording. Its called "anCorder" try it out it might work for u. I know for a fact that the app called "videocam Illusion" does upload to Youtube and does upload just great with no problems.
Thanks Ricky. I will try those.
Ancorder definitely FCed just as you end your video recording. Videocam illusion did great in a small upload test. I noticed the format was .mov instead of .3gp so I think that helped.
the audio in videos recorded with my atrix cut in and out every few seconds. it records the audio with the video for a few seconds then go silent then back on and back off. it continues forever which makes any videos recorded with the phone useless. i'm on the latest MROM but i think it has been happening on all roms. can't say for sure since i never had a reason to record videos until now
I've noticed something similar, but not quite.
It does appear like the audio is choppy when the clip is played back on the phone. However when played back on a computer both the audio and the video are just fine.

I've noticed the phone audibly clicks when a video in a social media app like Twitter or facebook starts to autoplay.
Phone is on silent/vibrate. Media volume is off too but still clicks.
Issue seems to be intermittent too.
It only clicks when you have moved on a screen where a video has started playing, i.e after scrolling through some images and then come across the video that starts autoplaying. If you go from one playing video, scroll down and the next one auto plays as the other video stops it doesn't click. It's really distracting but very feint at the same time. Anyone else noticed this?

Yes I've noticed it too. When scrolling through videos that auto play, namely Instagram. And mine is also intermittent. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Supposedly fixed with update .122
Good.
Would be even better if LG released notes indicating all buz fixes with 122 to help us, you know, their customers...
