Huawei Service Center in the Unites States? - Huawei Mate 20 Pro Questions & Answers

It seems Huawei doesn't have Service Center in the States.
Where can you get Huawei phones repaired?
Thank you in advance.

there are some but they told me they wouldn't support the Mate 20 Pro, they told me I'd have to ship it to the UK in case of anything (since I ordered from there)

Guys
I contacted Huawei regarding this model. I received the following response:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Huawei Customer Care.
Regarding your question about the release date for the 32 GB Gold version of the Huawei Mediapad X2, unfortunately we can not provide you with an exact date. However it is expected to be released sometime in June.
If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us.

On a personal note, if the P8 Max is available before this version, I shall be buying that!

no warranty in Netherlands

Hi,i have an mate 10 alp-l29 with middle east branding C185 bought in Kuwait.
I contacted Huawei Netherlands how about warranty...
Answer :since the phone is not being sold in netherlands (only lite and mate pro )they don't have spareparts for it .
I have warranty, however but in Kuwait.
So in case of problems i must send it to Kuwait
In whicjh european countries is the mate 10 being sold (close to netherlands) ?
Maybe i will rebrand it to european branding so i can send it to there in case of warranty.
I think they use IMEI
yeah,ur right..rebranding will not help me.
UK is the closest maybe Germany
Sent from my BLA-L09 using Tapatalk
Bla-L29 is Germany and Bla-L09 is NL, i have a NL Version from Mate Pro, bought on ebay
P.S. if you rebrand/flash the Phone do you have void the warranty
Right now the only official version of the Mate 10 (not PRO!) is available in Spain.
It's a BLA-L09 with C432 firmware and has warranty in Europe.

Spain. They are selling both black and brown versions and both 4GB RAM _ 64GB storage and 6GB RAM _ 128GB storage versions (ALP-L29, dual sim):

Rebranding won't allow you to use Huawei service centres in Europe, since you won't be able to "trick" the part which relates to IMEI number
Before I bought my Mate 10 (currently I already sold it and moved to Galaxy S8+ due to lack of any custom roms for Mate 10) in UAE, Abu Dhabi, I made inquiries to local Huawei support here in Latvia (EU) in order to understand Huawei warranty policy regarding phones bought in different part of the world, and they said the following regarding phone bought in UAE and Spain which was also an option I was considering:
A device purchased in the United Arab Emirates will be covered by Huawei warranty in all Huawei service centers located in the region (Middle East region)

and the following regarding Huawei phone bought in Spain (part of EU):
Huawei products purchased from official distributors in Europe will be covered by Huawei warranty in all Huawei service centres located in all European countries, which means that if you buy it in Spain it will be possible to carry out warranty repairs in Latvia authorized Huawei service center.

It all makes sense.

Mate 10 (standard - not pro or lite) availability?

Hello,
I'm in France where Huawei has decide to release only the pro (and lite) version of the Mate 10.
Coming from Mate 9 (which I love), I want to upgrade to Mate 10 standard (notably for its upgraded camera) but not to the Mate 10 Pro, because I hate the screen ratio of the Pro (tested on a friend's phone) and the absence of audio jack.
Anyone understand Huawei commercial restriction over the standard version of Mate 10?
Is the standard Mate 10 available in other European countries (such as the UK)?
Do you know how I could purchase one (L29 version), while still being entitled warranty?
I'm so upset with this marketing strategy.... Do you think Huawei will come to it sense and will eventually release the standard Mate 10 more widely?
It's probably a lost battle, but is there a petition going on on this request?
I wrote to Huawei support about the availability of standard Mate 10 in France but they didn't care answering me... Is there any influential website where Huawei may listen to its customers?
I'm in Australia where both the Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro are available, but I still opted to buy mine directly from China because their market is the only one which has the higher-end Mate 10 (non-Pro) with 6Gb RAM and 128Gb storage (i.e., the ALP-AL00). All of the suppliers I've seen on AliExpress perform re-branding to ALP-L29 prior to shipping, and the OTA firmware upgrade I received today confirms that Huawei's servers are treating my 'phone as a genuine unit.
Of course, purchasing from China won't give you local warranty - so if anything goes wrong during the warranty period, you'll have to send it back to China for repair/replacement - but the cost saving was big enough for me to justify the potential gamble. I paid a little over AUD$960 (about 627 Euros) for mine including DHL delivery from this seller and I was so happy that I ordered another one for my son.

how to recognize from the packaging of the mate 20 pro if it is branded or not?

how to recognize from the packaging of the mate 20 pro (dual sim) if it is branded or not?
I've just bought huawei mate 20 pro, the seller claims it could be branded. invited him to do a check on the package of the mate 20 pro, reports that not being able to say it before, we must open it to see if it is branded. I sent an email huawei still no response. Many vendors claim to sell the non-branded mate 20 pro, so it is very strange to know it is not possible to know it from the serial or imei of the pack of the mate.
Also if I open the package I have to activate it to see if it is branded, this could be a problem to send it back to the seller.
It is possible to defer the mate 20 pro not without unlock bootloader and without root.
I need some useful information to understand if I can recognize from the package if it is branded or not brand? or or it's an easy operation to make no brand
the mate 20 pro with firmware flash?
last sent back the parcel to the seller is purchase by another more serious seller. thanks you all

Need replacement battery ASAP

Hello everyone
I had bought a Huawei Mate 10 Pro in 2018 from Saudi Arabia. I am using the phone for the past 3 years and never had a glitch. Currently the battery is swollen and backup is poor. I tried contacting official Huawei service here in India, but they refused to help telling that the phone is not launched in India yet and asked me to contact Huawei Saudi . I can't go to Saudi to get a replacement battery and so it's impossible. I tried an unofficial battery manufactured by a 3rd party, but the performance was pathetic.
My phone is still in perfect condition and the performance is top notch. There is no reason to upgrade the phone except for the battery .
I need help from you guys regarding this. How can I get genuine replacement battery in India? I guess I am not the only person in India using this phone ! So what did you guys do when your battery got worn out?(Indian customers)
All help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
AK
