I have a leagoo m8 pro and recently I had tried to flash a new custom rom on it and it didn't work. My phone was soft bricked and I brought it to a store and it repaired it by flashing an official android os on it but since then my selfie camera has stopped working
I tried downloading other camera apps to switch to selfie mode but it still didn't work, I also factory resetted my phone but it was still not working
I was thinking that maybe it was the os or else it's a hardware problem..please I really need your help!!:crying:

i have Lg g3 D850 its rooted and i am using cloudy g3 2.5 rom. I rooted the phone the day i bought it and installed cloudy g3
i noticed few days back that when i try to use camera sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt and say " Unfortunately camera has stopped " i have tried third party apps like Google camera and retrica but no use, they say " Cant connect to camera "
also i have tried to check my camera in Safe mode but " Unfortunately camera has stopped "
i have installed rom using TWRP installed through TWRP manager from play store,
i have tried restore my stock rom from twrp but problem still there,
i have also formatted media storage but all in vain :/
but after the format of internal storage camera worked fine for few hours
Can you tell me if it is a bug or hardware error ? cause if its a bug i really wanna clear it up without getting my phone opened
Hello everybody, my girlfriend has a problem with her camera (umi iron pro android 5) after installing an app.
Now the camera works only with the front cam and the image is reversed (head below).
I tried the hard reset, factory reset, wiping data, devil cash and so on...
I tried to install other custom roms.
I tried to backup my umi iron pro on SD card, and to backup it on her phone, but still nothing, only the front cam is working with reversed image.
So can someone tell me how to flash the firmware (also where to find it) of the cam as i tried to find on internet but nothing, many thanks!

I have a lava iris x8 (running kitkat) yesterday I hard reset it through recovery and noticed that it's camera doesn't focusing give a blurr image(like a digital or VGA camera) and Its not fallen so there is no chance of hardware problem. Now I hard reset it again. Update it (now on lollipop) but nothing work. Tried google cam and cameringo. Help me . Does camera drivers are faulty or is it something else
Hello everyone! I've been dealing with this problem for so long and I hope you can help me solving it.
All of a sudden the rear camera of my LeTv Le Max 2 stopped working about a month ago. In that moment, I was using a custom ROM (AOSiP) and the TWRP recovery. It was just the rear camera that stopped working, because the front one was working fine.
I already tried several ways to fix it that I found on internet, such as deleting cache and app data, installing other camera apps, factory reset, flashing new ROMs, flashing one of the Stock ROMs, flashing GApps again... nothing, still doesn't work.
Now I have LineageOS 16.0 and everything works, exception made for the rear camera. Every camera app doesn't even show the button to switch from front camera to rear camera and Google Camera crashes as soon as I open it.
What can I do?

Heyyo, hmm this sounds serious! I would recommend backing up everything important off of your x2 and trying QFIL.

Hello, I'm facing problems after upgrading to the miui 13. My camera no longer works in macro and portrait mode. And my front camera fails to start. I'm certain this is a software issue.
Previously my wife's mi note 10 lite also got stuck on Mi logo for no reason and i had to factory reset and lose all data because nothing else was working.
Please help me figure out how to get front camera working again.
I'm facing the same issue. Did you solve it?
I restored the phone and didn't work.
I'm thinking on downgrading to MIUI 12...
