I would like to buy an Amafit Pace, but I have heard that there are some bluetooth connection issues between this smartwatch and Huawei and Honor smartphones (such as connection loss due to battery saving function of the smartphone) .
I have an Honor 9 lite, and I would like to ask you guys if you know about those issues, if there is a fix and if someone of you that have this smartphone and this smartwatch have the same problems.

I have an Honor view 10 and haven't any kind of issues with Amazfit app, in Beta Pie every time I reboot the phone I have to run the app but in stable EMUI 8.0 I haven't got any problems and works fine.
There are some tricks to get it working, Disabling battery optimization or in Manager disabling auto manage app, and forcing it to autostart and keep awake in background
These tricks are valid even for other apps

Hi all!
I just receive a new Redmi Note 4 (32GB), and I have tried to link it with my smartwatch, but it seems that is no even able to find it. The phone does not see the watch and the watch does not see the BT signal of the phone.
The phone works well with other devices that I have
It has the soft MIUI 8.1.2.0 MBFMIDI with Android 6.0 MRA58K.
Does anybody has the same problem?
Any tips regarding this problem?

I don't use the Huawei watch, but I use the Moto 360 (OG) and I have no problems. Just ensure you don't have any restrictions on the Android Wear app.

As you will have noticed all your health and activity data gets uploaded on the Amazfit servers (located on some Amazon AWS-Cloud) when using the obligatory Amazfit App on your smartphone. Furthermore I was able to identify some system data like your installed apps and settings being transferred by analysing the data logs with "Grey Shirts Packet Capture".

Well, not a big deal as we can just use a firewall/iptables to prevent the frequent, battery and data consuming transfers.
BUT: Updates of the firmware and especially the assisted GPS don't work anymore -> "AGPS has expired, gps searching will be slow Please connect the Amazfit watch app to update it"
Did anybody already deal with the problem?
Do you have any idea what server the A-GPS data is derived from (for setting some iptable exclusions)?

I know the thread is old, but in case you're (or anyone else is) still interested in it, the AGPS data is retrieved via the following URL (only works if you have a valid token unfortunately):
https://api-watch-us.huami.com/apps/com.huami.watch/fileTypes/AGPSZIP/files?days=7
For manual updates I have switched to PACIFIED.

Hello, I got the same agps massage yesterday and I tried to downgrade the Amazfit app to the version of December the 29.
For the first it was no difference but today morning it updates the agps. I'm on stockfied 1.3.5

No, unfortunately not. But I didn't look into it that closely as the GPS quite good also works without it. It is usually fast enough to find a fix during my warm-up exercises, so it isn't that big of a deal for me.
As far as I know it only works with the app, but I don't use the Wifi on the watch.

Is there any chance to use Amazfit Bip as a heart rate monitor for Endomondo training? I was looking for any answer and i didnt find it. Mi Band 2 works perfect with Tools & Mi Band app. Now I have Amazfit Bip, I tried Mi Fit, Amazfit Tools and Notify & Fitness for Amazfit apps - Endomondo still doesn't see Bip as heart rate monitor. Bluetooth is set to visible in Mi Fit app. Any idea how can i fix it? Thanks.

Hello! I know the last reply was sent some months ago but I thought I would comment anyway...
I have tried the method mentioned in this thread for connecting a Mi Band 1S so I could use the hearth rate sensor in Endomondo but also had no luck. After some try-and-fail, I noticed that this method does work with Endomondo versions up to 18.4. Later versions seemingly don't detect the Xiaomi devices so at least for the time being an slightly old version of Endomondo must be used, which can be downloaded from sites such as APKMirror.
Hi everybody,
i have a mjx bugs 5w drone that needs to use the bugs go app.
Everything works fine except for the functions that need to read the gps from the phone, as the function follow me.
Although the application has the permissions, the p20 lite does not communicate its position to the application and therefore the drone does not know where the phone is to follow it.
Do you know if there was the problem of communicating the position with other applications? What can I try to solve?
P.S. I also used the twin application jjrc x made for jjpro x5 and has the same problem.

First some informations:
Firmware: 1.1.6.48
A-GPS: up to date
Now to my problems:
1. If I start a workout like Outdoor running my amazfit ne approx 7-10 min to get GPS connection. And I'm not inside my Appartement.
2. I have no Idea what I have to configure to use Amazfit original app and Notify& Fitness for Amazfit together.
I like Notify a lot but I think that the Firmware Update Process from the Original App is just better.
I also don't want the permanent Notifications from both apps in notification bar.
Can you help me please?

N & F can be used together with MiFit or by itself by pairing the BIP with it.
While I prefer N & F for pretty much everything and use it without MiFit, there is one problem - N & F can't update the AGPS, so you would have to use MiFit for that.
However, I also don't understand why your GPS connection takes so long, since it's up to date.
If you run both apps, I don't think there's any way to get around the need for persistent notifications for each, to make sure they aren't killed by Android.
Sorry I couldn't actually be of much help!
Is there someone who can help me with my major problem?
