I wanted to know if lineage os 15.1 2018-11-06 nightly (official) is really stable or not for my redmi note 4 Qualcomm . Because I'm thinking to install custom rom on my phone from global beta miui.

4.If i put lockscreen password and fingerprint, I've to wipe my phone at reboot everytime?(very important)

Hey, I recently switched to MIUI 10 and I want to install the pixel 2 launcher but all the APKs show the "There was a problem parsing this package" error, if I try and install them. Is there any APK that works with MIUI 10?

Hey, I don't know exactly can be installed pixel launcher in miui rom. 1year ago i could not. best experince about it is installing custom rom 8,9 android version like nitrogen , they are based pixel launcher experince but are not as good as miui performance and battery usage.
how do you get miui version 10 rom?
latest update miui is 9.6.2.0 stable version.
there are some ported miui 10 from cooker but as i know kenzo Goodix fingerprint now working
I've tried most of the custom ROMs already and I've been using the pixel 2 launcher with those ROMs but I went back to miui 10 to try it out. Also, I'm not using stable ROM, there's a developer ROM available from the MIUI forum, I think it is MIUI 10 v8.9.20.

I have the fpc model and yes my fingerprint is working perfectly in Miui 10.
Hi, so the other day my redmi 5 got the 10.1.3.0 update and it got super slow and unresponsive, is there an option to rollback to the previuos state?
and if there isn't an option for rollback what stable rom would you recommend for the 2 gb ram version? gestures for me is a must and moving apps to the sd card would be very nice.

Be careful when you talk about rollback / downgrade, Xiaomi has introduced anti-rollback that if you install an update but then downgrade, your phone is bricked, it means your phone will stop working, it will activate the EDL mode for the unbrick but then it is difficult to solve so my advice is to opt for a custom rom.

Never flash a rom that isn't for your phone or you will very likely brick your phone
Android isn't like windows, you can't simply install the same version on every phone, each rom is only meant to run on a certain device with a specific configuration.
You can install pixel experience for rn4 mido version with Qualcomm cpu here:

However I am not a newbie here , I have been tinkering with android devices , even with earlier mediatek based devices.
I have had my fair share of bootloops and stuff.
The only reason I asked this was that these both devices are literally same. Just different screen sizes(which doesn't matter much in software side of things).
They share same ram, rom, cpu etc.

Just found out , theres no portrait mode on redmi note 5/ redmi 5 plus , whereas portrait mode on rn4 works perfectly on both cams.
Beta of rn4 is more like stable , however it is not the case with note 5/ redmi 5 plus.
Hey, I am using 4GB Ram version of Redmi Note 10. Since MIUI 12.5 there are no app animation features and some cool MIUI features. I miss them so much. Is there any way to bring them back? I want to do this without root method. I know there is also a root method. But it's not convenient at all. Also if I install any Xiaomi EU based custom rom same thing happens here. Most of the cool MIUI features are available in 6GB version.
