I've try to flash my box with the ATV firmware version FF, but it failed at formatting 7% : [0x30201006] UBOOT / Disk initialize / Send command / Time out
USB burning tool still connect with my box but everytime i try to flash i'm stuck at 7 % even with different firmware and the stock one...
Any advice guys ?

And making an SD burn card boots my x96 mini into some sort of update screen with a long grey bar that has a little bit of green (showing update progress I assume) However I left it there for over an hour and absolutely nothing changed!
Tried 4 ROMs (atvx, poison, stock x96, and vorke)
Absolutely nothing worked. Only good news was that none of the fails bricked the device, still fires right up into its crap stock ROM.
I noticed I also can not boot this thing into any form of stock recovery either!
Help or guidance would be great LoL.

Appears to be a p282 board. Here's a line from the build prop. I see p282 mentioned several times in the build.prop

Same issue here with MXQ Pro 4k (S905XQ-V2.0 SV6051P wifi). SD update screen with a long grey bar that has a little bit of green, then shows atvXperience screen, then boots up again to update screen with a long grey bar that has a little bit of green and then hangs there. My box is bricked into boot loop, fails everytime at 7% with burn tool. The toothpick method has no effect nor does the Nand short pin method.
Let me know if you find a solution. I'm thinking it may be a hardware issue but really not sure as I can't find the definitive stock rom to try and I've tried a lot of them...

I'm completely new to modding so bear with me. I bought a ZTE V975 from China, everything was going well until the start up screen got stuck in a loop.
I thought everything would be fine if I entered recovery mode but turns out it's all in Chinese and I've no idea how to sort it out. So any ideas what any of this stuff means and how I might sort the problem out? I assume I need to first root the device, then flash a new rom to it using the micro sd card slot?

Ah that sounds like a nightmare and the second link is in Russian.
I'm gonna see if a simple factory reset solves the problem. Will let you know how it goes.

Ok I'm not sure what an earth I did but I've somehow managed to get into the phone. I'm now afraid to turn the thing off, incase it gets stuck on the start up screen again. Is there anything I can do whilst it's switched on to sort out this mess?

Hi guys,
Seems it is Media Tek afterall. An MTK MT6589. I did a benchmark test and discovered this. Also it's a ZTE v975s but all I can find online is a ZTE Geek V975s which uses an atom cpu rather than the quad core one in this device.

I am searching for help, my elephone g6 does not start, rebooted it yesterday and it did not started ever again, not even in recovery mode, i tryed to flash stock rom but can't get him recognised by my computer, the omputer is always playing the sound connect->disconnect->connect->disconnect, within 30 seconds space more or less. i have no idea what to do more, anyone knws the problem and a possible solution?

Try looking up some recovery software from the manufacturer like HTC does. Otherwise is a little to vague.

So, i got my phone to connect to the computer, but the SP flash tools goes to 100% red bar and doesn't do anything more, i am doing everything correctly but it just gets stuck 100% red bar and don't move it has ben like 30+ minutes and nothing, any tip on that?

hello again, yes i tryed and that's my problem, my SPflashtools just get stuck with a 100% progreress red bar and does not move on, i have done everything correctly, exact stock rom, drivers and so.

I got a P9000 in the late spring, and have been really happy with it. Unfortunately I dropped it on the ground, and the screen cracked, after which the touch function did not work (but the phone did) I finally managed to get a new screen from China, and it has been installed by a local shop dealing with mobiles. However, the shop told me they could/would not deal with anything else but changing the LCD screen. The phone switches on (I can hear starting jingles and emails downloading etc) but the screen just turns from black to dark blue and stays that way. I have been trawling through the forums, but not sure what to do next. Take it that I need to flash it, and have followed the instructions given here, but it just seems to time out. Anyone got the patience to walk me through this?

I am facing same thing here. The screen is not coming up at all, But I can hear sound too. ANyone else who has changed the screen successfully before?
yes, i changed the screen successfully. After screen replacement i flashed the newest rom with flashtools and all was ok.

hello, thank you for you help. i've change the screen p9000 and when i put battery the screen logo elephone turns on and turns off two second always.is it normal and is it essential new flash when you put a new screen. in periph manager i see two second USB Vcom MT 65xx preloader but it's disapear 2seconde all the time because logo elephone light on and off two second. If you give me a solution, you are the best.
the pc don't recognize telephone of course. but i'm tm trying your methode but i've meet difficult with install pilot.

You are in a boot loop. This is not a bad sign, now you know the screen works. It's normal that you have to flash the Rom again after replacing the screen. if you use flashtool, start download in flashtools before you connect your phone to the PC, then hold vol+ on your P9000 and connect the phone to the pc.

always the same problem: light on off all 2 seconds, with B+vol+ i see recovery 1 seconde. i haven't the time to do something. question is it possible the battery bad, the logo flash all the time if the battery bad the logo don't go isn't it. please help i'm trying plenty solution but no good . thank you.

no, it's not the battery. You made a mistake by flashing the rom, now you are in a boot loop. Ignore the message on the screen. Try to flash the rom again. start flashtool, select the scattertext, click download, hold vol+ button on the phone and connect the phone to the PC

After a couple of tries, I did manage to get this working. Initial failure seemed to be me not pressing the "Vol +" button. Thanks very much for your help

thank you. i use flash tool v5.1620. i have windows 7 32 bit,mtk 65 vcom is update, i'm not sure what do you mean. newest firmware. i have last room for p9000. can you tell more details please or more link to succeed. i read, and i trying a lot, now i swimming again.

ok , i don't understand with flash tool i have plenty of time a big download is ok, if the download is ok why it's doesn't working.
the phone is often remains dark. I put in charge the battery with two 2mn special machine at my work , and it's wake up the phone souddenly appears again the elephone logo and battery with 1 once bar, I don't know if it's me or the battery or something else. normally if I plug in USB i must have lignt Electric power? but nothing.

P9000 screen replacement
Hi . I had my p9000 about 2 months when I sat on it and cracked the screen,the casing was very slightly curved so I gave it to a shop to repair,now nearly 2 months later they say they can't get it to start up. They tried a new battery and I told them what I'd read on this forum regarding flahing the rom but They gave me back the phone with a new screen and nothing else, so I told them i'm not paying for 1/2 a repair and told them to remove the new screen and give me back the phone as it was . What do you think could be the problem if a repair shop cannot repair a screen and install new sorftware is there hope for it?

I have Lenovo P780, Android 4.4.2, assembly VIBEUI_V2.0_1447_7.48.1_ST_P780_baralajbi.
The thing is, that after restarting phone MOSTLY doesn't reboot (I must try it approx 20 times to reboot properly). Either the LENOVO logo depicts on the display or display becomes gray. Sometimes phone reboots, but after inserting PIN the message "Unfortunately System UI has Stopped." starts appearing in loop (each approx one second), so it's impossible to do anything on the phone. (And after another several tries it reboots normally. When it reboots NORMALLY, it plays starting melody with the logo - other times not.)
Before this unhappy state, problems started gradually by frequent crashing various apps (e.g. system web browser; "Unfortunately app XY has Stopped.") and by spontaneous restarts. I tried cache deletion and factory reset, but problems persist. It means that some apps crash after launching them AND phone can restart anytime and then it can take maybe one hour to boot Android properly.
Only solution that comes to my mind is to reinstall Android (it's question which RAM to use). But before that I'd like to ask for potential advice and experiences - what could be the cause and how to solve the problem. By the way, to actualize Android is also impossible, because the app crashes Deleting cache in case of particular apps also doesn't work.

What you have to do is:
1. Go to this post and download your phone firmware!
2. Go to this post and download latest MIUI from Bodia Kolibass in Mirror 9! You will fint in that folder Latest Kernel and i hope latest TWRP.
3. Read twice every tutorial and after reading twice try to flash all those things!
4. Reading twice is not optional!
5. After every install do at least one boot. Example: One boot after flash, One boot after instal MIUI.
6. After installing MIUI and boot at least once go to wifi and connect your phone. After that go to updater and look for update. Install update, boot at least once.
7. After the update is installed you are ready to use the phone.
7. If you have any problem PM me!
8. If this small tutorial helped you... press thanks button so everyone to know that this can help them too!

I'm just not 100% sure, which version (CN or ROW) should I use. I'm not able to find answer on internet. I have chinese letters on the battery and somehow I remember that it should mean that CN version is correct. Is it so please?

Hi. I used CN version of the firmware and worked well.
Like: all things are... Made in China... today... :laugh:
Soo... I know for sure that the ONLY difference between CN and ROW phones are the modems.
In all countries except China phones are sold for ROW version of the firmware.
Conclusion: you can use both of them.
But do not use ROW install firmware over CN base firmware. Use CN on CN and ROW on ROW.
For modem software you will find a post in General section named: How about some modems.
Read the tutorial from there.

If you have Baralajbi firmware, your phone have CN base firmware.

I downloaded CN, read some tutorials, installed USB drivers from https://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-p780/development/p780-row-s226-flash-flashtool-t2909202 (I have no idea whether MTK_USB__Driver installed and where, after install I cant find any change) and tried to run SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1352.01. But the tool doesn't recognize my phone. I have Windows XP.
When I turn phone on and connect, I am able to access both SD Card and Phone memory via PC, but when I turn it off, press Download in SPFT and connect the phone, it just starts to charge and nothing other happens. In the log there is repeatedly written "Scaning USB port failed!".
I spent quite a lot time looking for some solution. Do you please have an idea how to actualize the firmware?

As a solution I found trying another firmware (or scatter file). Now I used CN+ 4GB VIBEUI_V2.0.rar. Do you please know what can be reason for this error?
(Also since this error I'm not able to turn the phone in any way.)

Are you sure that your phone is 4Gb? Maybe is 8Gb? I am asking this just to be sure! If you know for sure that is 4Gb you should try SP Flash Tool v. 3! Sometimes, I don't know why, it works with this version of SP Flash Tool.
And none more thing.... try to quote me. I'll answer more faster.

Now I am not able to check it, but 99% I have 4GB.
One thing I didn't write before - after that unsuccessful try phone looks like to be uncharged - even if battery was nearly fully charged before. Interesting.
Anyways - after trying v.3 the process ended successfully. But after that phone is still dead - I can't power it on. I send the logs attached.
Maybe most interesting is message repeating in SP_FLASH_TOOL.log:

Sooo....
Ok. You must tell me if you still have the original box of the phone!
If you have it look on the side and see if your phone is made after 03.2014 or on 03.2014.
If the answer is yes you must repeat the flashing procedure with the new preloader.
Here is the new preloader.
Replace the preloader in your folder and delete any *.ini file if you have one there!

So, now I should install newest TWRP and MIUI. Before it I'd like to ask some things to be sure I understand what I do.
That new TWRP is just because of MIUI, without it the current version of TWRP would be good enough?
Why need I to install MIUI? Is it more stable than current software? (Now phone looks like being usable again.)
After having the newest TWRP, shall I follow by making backup, copying the MIUI files to SD card and install via TWRP? (there are tutorials, but still I'm not sure about these basic things).

You are right. The old Kitkat software becomes unstable after a period of time.
MIUI is still under development. You will get updates a period of time.
Latest TWRP have less bugs.
And he. Before one major change I recommend a full backup.... this backup is for.... just in case...
If you follow the steps there, you will get the perfect results. The steps are tested and redone over the last years.
If you have MIUI questions we will move our q&a in the right post... MIUI post i mean....

OK. I installed MIUI, rebooted and then installed also kernel. Is there big difference beetwen this kernel and kernel included in MIUI? (If you know.)

When I try to install update it never starts to download. (It writes "Waiting for connection" in "Downloaded" section.) Do you please know what can be the cause?

For the part with kernel... I never thought to look for that...
For the part with update... i think... something is wrong... it seems to me that your phone is reacting like is on mobile data.
This is not a big thing... try to go to download icon, enter, go to download settings an see what is going on there...
Sometimes, I don't know why, the phone react like is on mobile data... when is on wifi...
After an while or after one reboot the phone will download the update.
I have to apologise to you, but what I am writing now is from my experiences with this phone. I do not have the phone no more.
I have now Lenovo P1 Pro.

OK, it looks like system update shouldn't overwrite custom kernel. Anyways the update doesn't download (it tries to download to phone memory instead of SD card, although I set it, but still there should be enough space in phone memory; neither I wasn't successfull when downloading it directly on PC).
I will wait and see.

Hello there everyone,
I have been having troubles with third-party apps and modules lately, so I decided to downgrade my software version from RMX2151_11_A_91 back to RMX2151_11_A_88 because I nnoticed after upgrade troubles was getting more often. Anyway I did not have to do that on my own. Something went wrong and I got stuck seeing only REALME and below written few words and error CODE: 0x99256658.
I can not get into bootloader, fastboot not even able to get into ADB transfer...Someone please can help me out with this awful situation? I tried using SP flash tool even I flashed everything with happy ending GREEN thing on the screen, but when I rebooted device same thing happened and got stucked.
I did try and it went well to flash software using SP flash tool after many tries it brough green sign at the end, but NO LUCK bringing back to life, just screen shows REALME and below tiny little words within 60 second will turn off my device. When I untick those 4 things when you flashing is ok till the END and sign is green, but If I tick opposerve2.img right from the start shows DOWNLOAD SIGNED IMAGE or DISABLE VERIFY BOOT..
Just tell me guys is there any chance to bring it back to life or throw it away. No big deal. Just Chance or NOT.

Just Google the error code while you wait for someone to reply to the thread with a fix. Who knows? Maybe you'll find a solution that way. If you do, please, post it here so that anyone with the same issue can fix their phone, too.
