Hi
Sadly last week one of my best friends died of cancer. :crying:
He gave me his prized Tab s3 the day before he passed and told me the password but today after a week of clearing his house i finally tried the password but it was not correct.
It was then i first learnt about Googles FRP after i had managed to factory reset the tablet.
I know his gmail address as its in my contacts list on my phone but obviously i dont know his gmail password so could not go any further.
I have tried various FRP bypass methods but gave up and am now trying to flash the combination file and firmware method via Odin.
Can anyone help me find a download for the combination file for the Tab s3 sm-t825 lte ? (The file needs the letters t825xxu in it)
I can find a combination file download for the sm-t820 model which is exactly the same tablet except for the lte feature but when i tried to flash this odin would always fail , so im guessing this is because i need the 825 combination file, is that true or should the 820 combination file work ok ?
i have seen the 825 file offered via mediafire but when i downloaded it always stops at 203 mb so im guessing the file is corrupted or fake ?
Final question, could i contact Samsung to let me get past the FRP on this tablet ? Someone suggested it on another forum and i do have the receipt and proof in his will that he gave me his belongings and since we arranged the funeral we have proof of death.
Sorry if this sounds morbid and thanks for any help you can give :good:
Gutted no one can help will just contact samsung, thanks anyway
I have the same problem with my T820. What did Samsung say? Where are the T820 combo binaries?

Hello,
I know, my question is not new for the most of you and I think it is asked over 1000 times. I tried but I can't find the right working answer for me.
I have a problem, with my old Samsung Galaxy SIII GT- I9300 with T-Mobile branding.
Sorry for my english, but I did not found something useful on german websites but much useful in your forum, so I hope you may help.
The Phone is old, so I have no guarantee any more. I got it from a friend and for him it worked very well till now. It started with freezing on pages and the friend tried to recover the device and I think he did something wrong. The device ended up bricked.
Now, when I want to switch on the device it shows a white screen, with grey and black snow everywhere. Only thing I still can do is going in download mode, then it shows:

odin mode
Product name: GT-I9300
Custom binary download: No
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom

The friend who owned the phone said it is broken and buys a new phone.
I am new to modification phones and all things like that and I haven't got a clue what I'm doing, but I'm interested in learning and don't want to give up.
I read and read and read and looked at google and everywhere and the more I looked, the more different advices I found, but I don't know what will work for my device.
There is another problem, since I don't have a windows or Mac machine, I can't use odin. I work with linux, kubuntu 14.04 ( this is another project,I haven't a clue from, but I'm learning for fun) and I just managed to download JOdin3 Causal, working with heimdall-frontend 1.4.0-0.
I tried to flash firmware with one part and firmware with 3 parts, and I always get from Jodin: that the phone is connected, but there is no pit-file.
I added plenty of pit-files I found in the net, but Jodin said the pit-file was corrupt or broken or Jodin shows on top, left side: „running“ but nothing happens for hours.
Can someone help me. I think I need a firmware and the right pit-file for this firmware. What kind of firmware is not interesting for me, I just want to see the device come back to life again.
I found in the internet, that there is still hope, if the phone shows in odin mode a product name.
Because of this I think that my phone isn't scrap jet. Am I right?
Thanks in advance for your replay.
nina
No, your phone is dead. Try the dead boot recovery thread in general forum for a test but you will need a box.
Recently I purchased a used tablet. Samsung sm-t377p obviously they reset it etc. And I cant set it up. Bought it off of Craigslist met the people at Safeway now they don't answer my calls. ;( C I tried all the tricks posted on you tube. Then I moved into using Odin to flash with stock ROM from SamMobile. On first attempt I got the message custom binary error frp lock. So I tried a different stock ROM for same device with a different build date. Boom it went through got the green light from odin. The tablet resets it says updating apps etc. But no matter how many times I do this flash it I still get the. This system was reset please provide the login information used etc etc
Sounds like you will need to enlist the help of someone with a tool like the z3x or Octopus box. I have a z3x, but don't have the software to allow remote access for it. Plenty of people do on eBay.
Please help me, i have a hard bricked SM-T377P, if you have one in hands you can help me to unbrick mine, it will take only 2 minutes! Here is my thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/help-sm-t377p-hard-bricked-debrick-img-t3711889
Thankssssssss!
I am new here so please excuse me if this is the wrong place to post this, however I am in need of some assistance
I have a Samsung Galaxy TAB3 10.1 - GTP5210
I encountered the little android flat on his back, so I have downloaded a number of ROMS that were applicable to the device and used ODIN (different versions) to flash the device. ODIN says it has been successful and the device reboots only to be confronted with the Android flat on his back. I have even tried downloading the JellyBean and KitKat kernels, and used the odin .img to .md5 bat file converter; this also failed.
I appreciate that the tablet is old but it is my daughters and would really like to fix it. There are no option to do recovery etc, I use the power-home-volume down button to get into download mode and then locate the md5 and use odin to flash it;
I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me, as I am at a complete loss as to what to do.
Thank you all in anticipation of anyone replying
I don't think you're going to find a lot of help for a tablet released in 2013. I'd Google "dead Android" with whatever version of Android you're running and see what the Internet tells you.

Good evening, thank you for your response, I kind of searched for that on the internet that has how I came to be here; as "the internet" says use android with the correct ROM and kernel..
So was hoping that someone here would be able to assist, for example could I use a later ROM what kernel do I need?
I have no idea what version I am using as it does not tell me in "download" mode
Also do I flash the kernel first and then the rom or vice -versa
I am not even certain whether I have a partition or not? I am assuming I do given that when I install the ROM it appears to accept it and then just goes into continuous loop.
I appreciate that the tablet is 3 to 4 years old but I would have thought there would still be support out there for it.
Oh just one other thing, I bought a new battery for it and replaced that, just in case it was that.
thanks in anticipation of replies
I came across a Samsung Galaxy S7 that a friend of mine was no longer using. He couldn't remember the info needed to verify the phone so I figured I'd try to bypass FRP using Odin.
I've been working on this for the last few days and I've gotten nowhere. I can't get past the first time startup, and the instructions I've come across online show that I must enable developer mode before I can even begin, which I can't do because I can't find a way to get to the phone's settings from the home screen.
I've tried just about every method I could find, including methods. I can't remove the FRP. One method here got me close as I could flash the phone with odin but I still can't remove it, and that user intentionally left out extra steps which makes it even harder. I'm new to this and I could really use this device for app testing. Can anyone please help me out?
It's a Samsung S7 from Boost Mobile (Sprint). The Model number is SM-G930P.
I tried to look for the tutorial I was following here, but I can't find it and forgot to bookmark it.
Can anyone help me at all?
If there's some info missing, I can add it.
So far I have seen able to find the stock rom for it and I'm learning how to flash the phone.
I recieved an s767vl from a friend who said I can have it but FRP has the device duct taped to the super glued shut system door.
I dropped my Moto e5 down the stairs, no good glass on that device...lmao.
I have tried the sim pin method, the long press on random entry on verification to try and bring up assist, no go. I have tried otg drive but no drop down for file manager, I have tried Odin with firmware replacement, no luck (I dont even know that USB debug or oem unlock are even enabled , cant find out) I am at the point that I am willling to brick and rebrick to see if I can unbrick and have it available to use. I would REALLY like to find custom ROM for it but from what I have researched here i think there are many of us with that desire.
I saw a post where someone was trying to find root and was given a Bricked j7 crown and was able to come through it and start at factory stock with no google account present... a reply in that thread was " now we know there is a way around frp".
but i cant find the thread...lol.. I NEED TO GET INTO THIS PHONE. its my only alternative to having no phone at all Im currently BROKE and recovering from shoulder surgery, wont have any income for a couple more months, Im feeling a bit under the thumb of google nazis.
ANY HELP WOULD BE AWESOME...
I am going to attempt to odin down to 8.0 from pie and see if it helps.. Im going to downstep from odin 3.13 to odin 3.09 to do so as well ... seems 3.13 is all about making google happy
THANKS GUYS .. I LOVE XDA...YOU GUYS ARE THE BOMB
