Having a pair of Bose QC35ii and I am listening to them from my Mate 20 pro without any problems BUT I can not change settings or update them because "Bose Connect" refuses to recognize them. Shis ONLY happens on Mate 20 PRO. If I use Galaxy Note 8 this problem does not occur.
Anyone that has experienced (and/or knows a solution to) this problem?
Yeah, I'm getting the same thing with both QC35 and Bragi Dash Pro too. It appears to be an issue connecting to BT-LE, rather than the audio/headset profile on the headphones/earbuds, but I haven't managed to solve it.
Any updates on this? Bose suggested firmware update from PC which of course didn't solve anything...

Congratulations to even GET an answer from Bose. They have been ignoring me totally. Jabra on the other hand solved the problem in their latest update.
Will not buy Bose again after this way of handling their customers.

Hi guys,
This is my first Sony smartphone and really like its big screen !!!
However, I have got a lot of issues when connect to my bluetooth headset(either Jawbone era or Jabra supreme)
I can only manage to talk only 5-6 minutes and then i really can't hear the other sides. this problem always occur no matter what i did factory reset.
My current version of firmware is 14.1.B.0.475, still haven't upgrade to latest firmware yet since there still not available in my country.
I am heavily user for making or pick up call, so conversation via bluetooth is a must for me.
Has anyone face this bluetooth issue? and for you guys who update to the latest firmware, is this problem still exist?
Thanks in advance for you guy kindness answer
Hi
Since updating to Nougat the quality of the bluetooth audio is terrible, it seems to fluctuate between all the time and can get very crackly and hissy.
Is anyone else experiencing anything like this - I updated using LG Bridge.
Thanks
Richard

All ok Here, using a Bluetooth Speaker
I've tried it with several speakers and several apps - I've also factory reset my phone but it's no different.

Don't what could be the problem, using the stock app with a Bluetooth Speaker in my case works the same as with marshmallow
I've emailed LG and got the attached reply - he mentions that there are problems with Android 7, but I think this might be a generic answer to blame android instead of themselves.

It can be True, after all it can be a specific problem with some Speakers, who knows.

Hi,
I also have problems with my Bluetooth (headset Bluejay X2) after the Nougat upgrade. Media works 2-5 minutes, then audio just stops... the device looks connected and the media player continues to play (silently then). I have done all trouble shooting tips I've found and eventually I also did a factory reset, still same problem. I also have an android wear connected (Sony Smartwatch 3)... actually, I will test to disconnect the phone and see if the audio works better then.
Thanks for contacting LG. I will try to do the same; I sincerely hope they will send out a fix soon, as there to my knowledge is no way to (easily) roll back to Marshmallow.

A short update; problem persists. I have tried to clear system cache and now also forced the bluetooth apps to stop. Here I come to a question...
When wanting to clear Bluetooth app, I discover that I have two different apps called "Bluetooth", only difference is that one has version 5.30.18 and one has version 7.0. Should it be like this? If not, is it possible to disable one of them?

Ok, thanks... bummer, thought it might had to do something with the problem. It might have to do with the model of headphones (still a Nougat problem though), but I don't know; don't seem to have the same problem in the car, but I do not use BT audio very much there.
One thing I have noticed on my Jaybird X2's is: when this happens and I trigger "Ok Google" (long pressing the talk button), the audio starts working again (after I cancel the "Ok Google"). So... still confused, but on a higher level
Hi guys,
this morning I used my Headset from the mate 10 pro to listen to spotify. Everything was fine. Now the headset does not work anymore. I chnaged nothing at thr setup from the phone. The phone does not recognize the headphones anymore. Ather headphone do not work... Is ist possible that the Android Security Update ist the root cause for this problem?

But you did update? If nothing changed in phone, maybe it's the headset? Try it in another phone.

Have you tried doing a hard-reset and try afterwards?
I updated the phone last weekend. I have 2 headsets and it's not recognizing both. It's not a port issue thought because i can connect the phone to my laptop and its still ok. Itjust wont recognize the headphones.

Yep. One of the 1st things i did. I'll try restoring it and if it still fails, i'll have it replaced. Good thing it's still under warranty.

This is the best thing you can do if you can't locate the issue.

Hi Guys.
I would like you to let me know your thoughts about this issue I have:
I have a Opel Insignia with built-in hands free bluetooth. If I use my Samsung S9...the phone calls are made sound and clear and I can listen to every one very very well.
Using my Mate 20 Pro with the exact same sim cards....and obviously the same car...I almost cannot listen to anyone!
What may be the problem?
Hello, i have had the phone for a year now and i love it. But there is only one thing that is bugging me, when i record something it gets recorded only on one channel (Right speaker). I have tried everything to fix it. Googling and looking around on the internet can't find anything even remotely related to my issue. If anyone has any ideas please help. If not i guess i will need to return it and hope that it goes under warranty (whatever is broken).
Hi mine is recording in stereo but wrongly. It use mic from bottom and no more the one from top.
So the phone in landscape mode didn't do the correct stereo.
I have open a hotline call but like always nothing move for it.
This bug appeared after an update didn't remember the correct working version. But this bug appeared quickly after mate 20 pro release. The first stock firmware was working.
And i was able to reproduce the same **** bug with other mate 20 pro so it isn't hardware issue but firmware one.
But it's maybe different from your case because i have stereo and you mono.

I have the same problem as you Sebastii, with a LYA-L29 version and EMUI 10.0.0.196...
