Hello, i just cant install the Amazon Shopping App, i cant from Play Store, I cant from APK, I cant from Xiaomi App Store, it gives me an error from 3 ways...
I think it has to do with a week ago I saw two Amazon apps installed, I guess it was a fake one, and I uninstalled them both.
After that I simply can not install the official application in any way.
I already used several antivirus, I cleaned the cache of Play Store and Google Play services, I cleaned the phone, I looked in the file manager the word "Amazon" and nothing comes out.
Another curious thing is that I can install the application in the second space, but in the first space I can not.
Any Ideas??
Thanks...
Same issue. Strange.

This is in a way an odd question that I have to ask. So earlier today I wanted to check out a new game and I opened the play store app on my phone and to my surprise the image at the top on the main page where they usually promote different apps, music and books was a NSFW definitely not Google approved image. Now I'm not a prude or anything but I definitely do not watch porn on my phone. So I was very stumped by seeing that in the play store app. I checked around to see if other people were having this problem and it didn't seem to be the case. I tried deleting the play store app's cache.. restarted the phone.. nothing same image. Finally I decided to try and uninstall updates for the app and that worked. But now I am worried.. could another app be taking over doing things it shouldn't be? Is that even possible? Should I do a factory reset just to be safe? For the record I only have apps from the play store and the amazon market installed on the phone I'm currently using and the phone is not even rooted. Any ideas?

Maybe google considers some of the apps you installed from the amazon store to be NSFW apps..
Hi there, seems i got a quite strange problem here.
I'm on a CM10.1 nightly rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2099499) and today I accidentally discoverd that the play store dont display my installed app any more, which was fine last week(i did an update of some apps that time, not related to play store services), like the screenshot showed only two buttons left there. And I tried unstalled and reinstalled one of the app(gps test), and it told me that "this app was not installed by google play store". After the reinstallation the app showed up in the "installed app" section this time.
I check all my apps in the phone with "pm list -3 -i" to see if the installer is wrong(i installed all my 3rd party apps with airdroid last time i flashed the rom, and the apks, which were downloaded from play, were pulled from the phone itself). i found out that the values of installer attribute of apps i update last week were "com.android.vending"(for instance greenify), while others wre just "null". But the strange thing is that neither of them showed up in the "installed app" section.
I guess this has something to do with google's recent policy change for not allowing non-play-installed app to be updated through play store. But i just wonder what exactly happened to my device and if there is a solution to it without reinstalling every app. Thank you very much!
EDIT: the web version of google play don't show my apps, either.
Recently, meaning in the past two days, when I open the Play Store this is what appears:
(first attachment, or which ever is named razrmaxx)
When I go to My Apps, and look under the Installed tab, only four apps show up, all preloaded Verizon apps. When I go to all associated with my account, it shows that they are installed. I can only install a new app if it's a popular app and the Play Store comes up with the completed search where it has the app icon. All other Google services work, gmail, youtube, Chrome tab, bookmark shares. I've reset my phone to factory defaults, I've completely closed the Play Store, deleted data, deleted cache, forced stop, and reopened. The other day I was trying to install an app (AirDroid), and it said it wasn't available in my country, I live in the United States. I'm completely baffled because on my Note 10.1, this is the screen that appears when I open the play store:
(second attachment, the one named note)
(just in case this is related to that), and it also will not show any of the "installed" apps, but will say that it's installed under the "all" tab. I've completely erased all data, force stopped Play Store on my Note too, and it still shows up like that, and it also can't search. The fact that there's only one app on my phone that shows up makes me think it's a virus, I've scanned my phone completely with Avast, I don't download anything except from the play store (although I know even there it can be a virus). Recent apps I've installed to my phone are: AirDroid, AndSMB, App Cache Cleaner (although this is after it started), and Avast. I originally thought the Samsung Apps app on my Note was causing the issue on my tablet, and Samsung Apps works, but even after I disabled it, the issue persisted. I even tried the Amazon App store, and that works. The only app that I have in common with my phone and tablet is Avast. Any help is much appreciated, and thank you in advanced. I might go to a Verizon store in the next few days and ask them about it, maybe get a new phone and stay away from my current gmail accounts and only use apps I trust, (amazon, newegg, doubletwist). Anyone know how to fix this and ways to stop it from happening in the future?
We've all had issues with the play store over the years, but this one has me stumped.
Rooted LG Flex on T Mobile
everything was fine for almost a month, but a few days ago, i noticed I was no longer able to connect to the play store.
I did all the "normal" things, cleared caches/data from play store, google framework, uninstalled my gmail account and re-installed it, downgraded play store, upgraded play store, tried the hosts file trick, even did a factory reset, and still no play store connection.
Even called Tmobile tech support, and got to the tier 2 folks, and they couldn't get it to work either, so they are sending a new phone tuesday.
Until then, I want to keep on trying to get this to work; I haven't unrooted with Supersu yet, figuring that rooting had nothing to do with this, since it worked fine for a month, rooted, but does anyone else have any suggestions?
Its weird; when I open the play store app, and type something into the search box, it will actually take me to the page where that app is, but when I try to download/install it, I get the dreaded error 927; when I back out, and just try to open the play store app, It doesnt connect at all.
When I try to send files to my phone from my computer, it shows "my apps", but when I try to send them to my phone, I get an error on my phone saying "failed to install" app..
Any thing else I might have not tried with this?
Thanks!

Hey. My name is Sadcamp. I'm not really acquainted with how everyone here forums and all, but I'll give this my best shot.
Recently, I was working on fixing my Play Store, because of an app that blocked some of Google Service IP's, disabling my ability to access the store. So, using Root Uninstaller, I removed the Play Store app off of my phone, which as many of you know, removes the Play Store from /system/app. Hoping for it to be fixed, I got an APK of the most recent version and installed it on my phone. To my distaste, nope. I investigated further and journeyed to the mystical file called "hosts". I researched and found that the Google IP's were blocked. So, as recommended, I renamed the hosts file and restarted the device, clearing it all up.
Then, about an hour ago when I went to install an app from the Play Store, it stopped working (at the point where you press Ok/Yes to accept permissions and all). So, I whipped out CatLog, which I recommend if you ever have a problem with your phone, and saw that the phone was giving out messages like "Google Play APK file not found" and stuff of the such. After tracing some of my steps back, I figured this was because, as mentioned in the last paragraph, that I removed the Play Store from /system/app. That being said, I whipped out Lucky Patcher, commanded it to move my Play Store app to /system/app, rebooted my phone, and voila. Just as it had been before all of this crazy stuff had happened.
So, All in all, (TL;DR)
If your Play Store app won't download or update anything, and closes upon opening, consult CatLog, or you could just skip to what I did by using Lucky Patcher and moving the Play Store app to /system/app.
Hope this helped for those who have these kinds of problems. Love your faces!
