Screen wakes up and disconnects a handsfree call while in the pocket. - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I sometimes use headphones for calls and keep the phone in the pocket.
Power button is hard coded to disconnect the calls so it's difficult to turn off the display during a handsfree call. It's a stupid decision on xiaomi's side. I now have placed lock button in the notification panel just for this purpose.
But the real problem is that, this extra sensitive screen wakes up in the pocket with some movements and as it's already unlocked because of the call, sometimes the call gets disconnected.
Is there any solution? I don't want to disable tap to wake up function. This problem also persists with audio navigation with Google maps.

Verizon Touch Pro Lock during phone call

Hello, I have been looking all day to find out how to lock the screen during a call.
I keep getting random things happening when I am calling… Hanging up, calling someone else, programs running… etc… Hanging up is the most common for me.
I would like to have the screen lock when connected but have the hardware keys still active so I can end the call. But I also need to be able to get to the keypad and other areas when on a call, but I would like to have to unlock the screen first.
Thanks!
Have you tried hitting the power button on top to turn off the screen during a call? then if you need to get to something you tap the power button again to turn on the screen again. Simple, effective.
That solution does not work with a bluetooth headset. When you disconnect your call via headset, the screen comes on even if the power button has been pressed.
I have S2U2, but I can't figure out if there's a way around this 'feature.'
You should try Throttle Lock. It locks the phone very well.

[Q]How to keep the screen locked after answering a call via bluetooth headset?

When a call is coming, the screen will be lighted up, but will not be unlocked. If I pick up the call by pressing the answer button on the bluetooth headset, the screen will be unlocked, and the proximity sensor will start working to prevent the screen to be turned on during the call.
The problem is, after hanging up the call by bluetooth headset, the proximity sensor stop working, the screen will be lighted up instead of turning off automatically, and it will stay in the dial interface. If the phone is in my jeans' pocket, the dial button will be pressed accidentally.
I remember the iPhone will turn off the screen automatically after picking up the call by bluetooth headset. Is there any solution or advice for this annoying problem?

[Q] How to awake screen from sleep during call?

This is a strange one. When placing a call, the screen immediately goes to sleep. If I want to access the keypad or end the call, I can't seem to awaken the screen either by moving the phone away from or toward my ear or by pressing any of the buttons on the phone itself. The only thing that seems to work is plugging in headphones as it triggers an event that wakes the phone.
I've been through the motion settings and can't see anything related to this that would be disabling my screen from waking. Any ideas?
Thanks

[Q] Lock phone after finishing call?

Is there any setting to force phone to lock screen after finishing call? I'm using earphones with integrated mic, so I end call by clicking button on remote while leaving phone in pocket. And it unlocks after finishing call, waiting for screen timeout to lock it again. Quite annoying...
And also using phone with headset is quite annoying, because I would like to lock it after dialing call and put it to my pocket. But I also have my power button set to end my call. Voila, we have problem. Power button ends my call I just started. So I can disable this behavior in settings, but then when I use phone without headset, I always forget to end call by onscreen button and put it to my pocket with call still active. Best solution would be some kind of headset detection, which alters behavior of power button during call. Probably could be done with Tasker, but I kinda dont want to leave it running in background just for this. Any tips or ideas?

Stock Dialer/Phone app LOCK/Speaker Phone

The Basics:
Device Samsung Galaxy Tab A SM-T295 8.0 android 9
I have actually two sort of related problems.
First is that, when call comes in, even though this thing is really to big too hold up to your ear, the call doesn't automatically default to SPEAKER. There is a button that needs to be touch AFTER the call is answered to put it into speaker mode.
The second issue is that, as soon as you answer the call, a lock screen requiring a double tap to open comes on keeping you from getting to the speaker button. In another place I read that this lock screen in intended to keep you from inadvertently dialing or hanging up and such when holding the phone to the ear.
This lock screen has about a one second timer on it so getting to the button is very tricky.
This lock screen makes it all but impossible to be on a call and set up a second call to make a three way. I don't do this very often so it isn't that big a deal.
The ideal solution for me would be to get the device to default to speaker phone on every call.
The secondary solution would be to disable that lock screen so I could immediately hit the speaker phone button as soon as I answer the call rather than have to answer the call, double tap to unlock, and scramble to hit the speaker phone button before it locked again.
Since I have already tried and failed to be able to get in to change the SMS limit, solutions that require the same kinds of actions probably are no good.
I a wondering if there is a replacement Dialer/Phone/Contacts APP that might solve the problem??
